Bonded With The Teleporting Relic

Nova turned around, expecting to see the king with his guards trying to seize them. Instead, the only person who was standing there was the boy who they met earlier.  “What are you doing here,” he asked. “We are really sorry we snuck out, but we needed to find this gem. It is really important to us,” Esther said fearfully. All the other girls nodded in agreement. Nova was bracing herself for the guards to come and capture them at any moment. But she was proven wrong again. The boy smiled at them and backed away a little. “I see you went through all this trouble to get this gem. You are really brave. I have no problem giving it to you, but my father probably does. So here is a deal, I get you out of here with the gem, and you allow me to come with you.” “Wait what? You want to leave this whole royal palace and run away with us,” Faith asked sarcastically. “Yes I want to, and I would also want you to stop those comments because I can call the guards right now and make them seize you. Then you won’t be able to make any more sarcastic comments,” the boy replied. Nova looked at the others to make sure they all agreed before she spoke up: “We are sorry. I think we all agree on this deal. What is the plan?”                                   *:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._ “You are making us dress as maids, really? You couldn’t think of something better,” Faith complained as she fixed her apron. Nova agreed with Faith on that one. They were dressed in a middle-length dark blue dress with a V-shaped white figure on the skirt and a bow at the end. Was this the only thing he could find?  “Sorry about our friend. She appears to have some sarcasm issues,” Autumn said as she rolled her eyes.  “It was either this or the knights’ armors, and trust me, you don’t want to wear that,” the boy replied. “By the way, what is your name,” Esther asked, seemingly the only person who realized that they knew nothing about the boy. “I am Nash,” the boy replied. He was wearing a white chemise with a tall blue cape on top that left only his knee-high black boots visible. “Are you sure no one will recognize you,” Nova asked in concern. He was the prince after all. “Don’t worry about that. The only person the guards recognize here is my father,” Nash answered. “So we will just walk out of the maids’ exit,” Autumn asked, reviewing the plan they had formed. “Yes. If anything is unclear ask now, no last minute questions or complaints,” Nash said as he shot Faith a look.  “I will go get the gem and come,” Nova said as she was getting ready to walk away. “I am afraid this isn’t possible. Maids aren’t allowed in the palace after dark. I will go while you follow the map to the exit. Wait for me there,” Nash said. The girls nodded in understatement and they parted. Nova couldn’t help but feel there was something wrong with the boy. First he can understand them and they could too. Second, he helped them out, twice. Lastly, he wants to leave with them. Nova didn’t have the mind to care about such details. Getting out of here was her number one priority, after getting the gem of course.                                       ゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。゚・:,。☆゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。゚・:,。☆゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。 Nash was headed for the upper room to get the gem. He finally had his ticket to leave this palace. It wasn’t that he didn’t like it, it was just that he felt trapped here. No one but his father even recognized him! He shrugged off those thoughts and continued walking up the stairs. When he reached the top, he extended his hands to grab the beautiful blue hexagon. The moment his fingers brushed against the cold surface, he felt energy coarse through his entire body. He was ready to ignore it and take the gem and leave but then he heard a smooth sound.  “You are bonded with The Teleporting Relic.” Was this some sort of joke? Those didn’t happen very often around the palace. Maybe his dad put this as a defense mechanism so that anyone who attempts to steal the gem gets freaked out and runs without it. He however, wasn’t like everyone else. He grabbed the gem and started descending the staircase, oblivious to the fact that something magical just happened.                                  ゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。゚・:,。☆゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。゚・:,。☆゚・:,。゚・:,。★゚・:,。 The creature could feel more power returning to it. Someone must have found the second piece. Once the seven pieces are found, it will rise again and claim what was taken away from it. But its ultimate goal was to destroy anyone who was remotely related to the person who destroyed it. All it had to do was wait. Then everything will return back to how it was millions of years ago, total destruction and one ruler. It will take control over the world once more, and no one could stop this.
