Before they decide to apply in one of the nine hierarchies... Crossing his arms, Luciel stared at Serenity who was fidgeting in her seat. Simeon and Sachiel couldn't intervene in their conversation so they chose to watch and listen to both of them from the distance. They're currently inside the temple where they usually stay. "I heard you turned down the offer of being an archangel," Luciel broke the silence between the two of them. Serenity looked at him. "You did the same..." "Because we promised to each other, the four of us, to train together to whatever position that we're fitted into. All of us got the offer to become archangels. But the fact that you decided to turn down the archangel position to be a guardian angel for the human realm didn't sit right to me," Luciel told her. Serenity bit her lower lip. "I appreciate that you cherish humans because after all, we're still angels who wanted a balance between the two realms, and because of such admiration you have for the humans, you chose to become a guardian angel," Luciel kept speaking and he couldn't help but sigh. "Do you really care about humans that much, Serenity?" "I won't deny that," Serenity responded. "And I would like to protect them as much as Father wanted what's best for them. I know you're concerned about me Luciel and I know everyone really sees my potential as an archangel but I already decided to become one. So please, let me have this." Luciel stared at her in silence, examining her determined face. He couldn't help but sigh. "Well, we couldn't do anything about it anymore. If you want to train as a guardian angel, then we'll train with you as well." Serenity's eyes twinkled the moment Luciel said those words to her. She even looked at Simeon and Sachiel to confirm it and the two smiled at her. She immediately rose from her seat and held Luciel's hand. "Thank you, Luciel." "Let's train well so we could protect those humans," he said. They turned their heads to Simeon and Sachiel who walked towards them and smiled. "I could definitely see Serenity being excited to train," Sachiel commented. "We should train together to become stronger so we could become good guardians in both Celestial and Human realm." She nodded and grinned. "Of course! We definitely should!" If only Luciel didn't allow Serenity to deepen her adoration for humans...
