Chapter 37: Just can't take a break.

Eventually, the early morning turn bright. The sunny day is the perfect time for them all to further enjoy their vacation. Of course, that only work for people that isn't Lavi... The moment that Lavi thought he has gotten a break. A letter from the capital arrived in their villa...
"Sir. A letter has arrived from the capital."
"A letter? Who is it from?"
One of the caretaker immediately tell Lavi about the letter. She thought that it was a normal letter, but Lavi already has his suspicion. Because his face turn sour the moment she said that a letter has arrived from the capital.
"The sender is the Prime Minister."
'Ah for god's sake! I knew it.'
Lavi just sigh the moment he heard that because there's nothing he can do other than accept the fact that something else is coming for him. So, he take the letter from the caretaker and immediately dismissed her so that he can go and take a look at the content alone...
He went outside and leave the family in the villa while he sat down under a certain shaded tree and tear open the letter to see the content. Lavi take out the piece of paper inside and immediately take a deep breath to prepare himself to leave the vacation super early.
'Sir, there's an emergency happening right now in Shireno. Sir Pixel stated that he has found a source of disturbance in the outskirt of Shireno. We had sent our Bronze Serpent out to check it out, but most of them came back heavily wounded... According to their testimony, a massive snowstorm suddenly cut down their path and cut their visibility close to nothing. Suddenly, they have turned bloody and wounded like never before.
We asked for the Harbingers help so that you can still enjoy your vacation, however... Everyone stated the same thing. Although the Harbingers came back unscathed thanks to Her Highness Erina's magic. There's nothing they can do against this disturbance. So, I'm informing you that if this thing does not get taken care of as soon as possible, it might lead to something worse than a 'disaster'.'
That's the content of the letter that Lavi received. Once again, he sighed lightly and immediately put the letter away...
There's a lot of things in his mind right now. Most of them is worries about his Bronze Serpent squad. Since he know that they're heavily wounded...
'Shireno has been busy the moment I leave huh. I wonder what it is though. Since, there's a lot of things that can happen in the wilderness... Especially in Shireno... Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't turn into a massive disaster.'
"I should take care of it as soon as possible."
Lavi has properly consider every option and chose what he wanted to do. He decided to come back to Shireno alone and quickly finish what's going on in there...
"Althea, Lavtura, Sharion."
Lavi approaches the three goddesses who's sitting around a table and minding their own business...
"I'm leaving back to Shireno for a bit. Can you guys take care of the matter around here?"
"Oh? You're leaving? At least take one of us around to help you."
"Right. There's something going on in the wilderness, right?"
"Correct. I guess I couldn't escape your eyes huh."
"Obviously. We know what's going on around the world. There's no use trying to take another fighter with you. Either bring Gwen or Bianca with you."
After hearing the thought of Althea, Lavtura and Sharion, Lavi naturally obliged and immediately left to take one of those two. He decided to take the one with the knowledge rather than the healing ability...
"Biancaaaaa. Follow Lavi for a bit."
"Eh? Where are Lavi going to go?"
"Back to Shireno. There's a thing that Lavi need to take care and Lavi decided to take Bianca along."
"Ah! Okay! Wait a minute, Bianca need to do a bit more."
"Okay, Lavi will wait outside."
Since Lavi himself is the perfect fighter, he doesn't need to bring any other fighter, since he's also confident that nothing could possibly hurt him and he can protect Bianca, he doesn't really need to bring Gwen either. So, it's only natural that Lavi go with Bianca considering that her brain is so big that she can possibly reach the conclusion of what's happening way before Lavi.
After Lavi wait a bit longer trying to prepare his equipment... Bianca finally went out to meet with him.
"Thank you for waiting for Bianca, Lavi! Bianca has to do some preparation for Sani so that Sani doesn't really stuck in Bianca's mind when job is on the line!"
"Understandable. Since Bianca and Lavi are now ready, let's not waste any time and start moving toward Shireno!"
Lavi immediately carry Bianca as he should be and immediately take a massive strides straight toward the scene of the disturbance. Of course, he could be using Gwen's teleportation if he wanted it. But, he feels like going straight into the danger with teleportation might spells enormous disaster for everything. So, he planned to enter the danger zone the plain old ways that he know that is effective when dealing with things like this.
While the two of them are going toward Shireno, Bianca has already started working on figuring things out... She understood what's going on with Shireno because she had read the letter given by the Prime Minister.
"Hmmmm... Bianca understand what's going on now."
"Bianca does? Mind telling Lavi about it?"
Lavi, who's expecting this from her, immediately asked for her thoughts so that he can finalize what he wanted to do.
"When Lavi leaves Shireno, it seems like the nature loses its balance. Because, the entirety of the Shireno territory has acknowledged Lavi as its protector... Sole one too. So, when Lavi disappears from the land of which Lavi should be protecting, it sends the land spirits into frenzy and started a disaster run to gain Lavi's attention once again."
"... Lavi understand now... Do Bianca knows any other reason other than that? Since, Lavi doesn't want to write off any possibilities that is not that."
"Sure! Bianca has a couple more. But, the only one that Bianca thinks might be happening is that, the spirits themselves, has started going rampant to warn Lavi about something. So, whatever is going on with the spirits... It's regarding Lavi."
"Understandable. Thank you, Bianca. Lavi knows what steps Lavi need to take!"
With everything in his head, Lavi speed up so that he can get there faster and take care of this matter and potentially, future matters too.
