When the morning come, Lavi is the first one up from the last night action that he had. Of course, he wake up feeling quite refreshed because there's nothing sticking on his back. The thought of something that's going to screw up his plan has gone away the moment he, Sharion and Rin take out all of those additional Qyblith that Theo sent to them through the dimensional rift... Now, he planned to enjoy the vacation once again...
But deep down inside of his mind, he still has this thought.
'It's still far from over, I don't know whether Theo would send more Qyblith my ways... It's stupid of him to send Qyblith my ways, not when he do know the fact that I have regained a lot of my power... So, whatever is happening with him, he's spending all of his resources for a reason...'
With that thought process in mind, Lavi are approaching everything carefully. Anyway, he went out toward the beach and he saw a very familiar face jogging around the beach.
'The hell is Rin doing running around in the beach early in the morning? Does he have nothing better to do?'
It baffles Lavi when he saw that. It's super early, a time where no one should be awake yet. Especially due to how much they've been enjoying the vacation. It's maybe two to two and a half hours since the last time they split up... Lavi checked that everyone has sleep when he finished breeding. But, now, Rin has shown his face...
But, he didn't really bother with the fact that Rin is awake anymore... Instead, his mind moved over from wandering why the hell he's awake. To trolling Rin a bit.
'That look on his face...'
According to Lavi mischievous look, Rin doesn't look too focus right now, in fact, his eyes seems very tired like he didn't sleep at all... So, Lavi take out a small dagger and imbued it with his Buffs...
Then, he just, launched it straight toward Rin, assassin style. Undetected, Fast and definitely would kill even the best of adventurer...
Rin immediately felt a bloodlust coming toward him, but it's too late for him to react...
"Uwaah!!! What the f**k?!"
So, he fumbled backwards and slam his back to the ground which coincidentally, has a stone under the sand... That stone, just crack Rin's back like never before... Which leads him to let out some of the funniest noise that Lavi has ever hear.
"Bloody Hell..."
To Rin, it's so painful that his voice can't really come out... So, it's just a sad whimper...
"Ahahaah! Sorry about that little one... Just some randomness from me, you know?"
Lavi step out from the shadows and immediately said that to the dejected Rin... Rin just sigh and lay on his side to disperse of the pain...
"... f**k you."
"Yeah, I know I'm a douche right now."
After that awkward encounter between the two...
At the edge of time and space...
Theo, who's received the news about his Qyblith. Open his eyes...
"They're dead already? That's not a good news..."
'The plan is to buy me as much time and scout the power of the current God of the End... I would've hoped that he's still need some time to gain hold of his power... But, my thought is a bit too naive. He's regained full control over his old power... If I knew about that, I would buy more time for the Qyblith to get stronger so that they can buy me a bit more time...'
Theo recognize all the dangers that coming for him if he were to make a rash decision right now... So, he decided to do something that will gives him a bit more of a fighting chance against Lavi and his party...
"I have no other choice... This fight, will not happen anytime soon... Enjoy your time while you can, God of the End... When I'm finished, the entire time line is going to disappear."
Theo is preparing something that no one knows... But one thing for sure, if Theo win this battle, he is the ruler of the universe...
Time passes after that encounter that Lavi and Rin had such early in the morning... Now, they've spend an hour just walking along the coast. Of course, they're enjoying their time walking alongside that coast...
While they're walking along the coast, Rin has some questions that needed answers.
"Hey, Lavi. I've been wondering about this. Regarding Theo, I know that we shouldn't hastily chased after him. But, if it's possible, wouldn't it be better to chase after him? It is Theo that we're talking about. Listening to the stories of him already makes me wary of him..."
Of course, that question is something that Lavi has always prepared to answer. Since, he himself, do believe that many people wanted to chase after Theo...
"It is true that Theo is the type of God that would ruin everything if we gave him the chance... However, as much as I wanted, we couldn't realistically chased after him when he's in the edge of Time... If it is possible, I also believe that we shouldn't do that, because the difference of experience in the Edge of Time between us and him."
"... Experience in the edge of time?"
"Basically, the edge of time is a nightmare for everyone who still has sane mind. After all, the edge of time is a place where everything doesn't exist. Those who still has sane mind and in that place, will be reminiscence on every single thing that they done. Also, with the amount of universe... You're also forced to watch all of your other self, take action that may or may not be correct for you...
It's a time where wonderful dreams and nightmares are shown. Over, and over, and over again. We're all still sane here. So, we couldn't possibly go there and bare the consequences..."
Lavi explained the Edge of Time perfectly to Rin... His doubt immediately disappears when hearing that... Basically, chasing after Theo is a suicide of mind. That's why, he can sat there and doesn't have to worry about them chasing after him.
Not only that it would take so long, it would also break their mind if they go there... So for now, all they can do is just prepare for the inevitability of his grand invasion...
