Immortal 2 #38

Sander's PoV   "I'm going to hire a lot of people; I can't just sit here and do nothing," I said to Aserious.   "What if you order two to attack her palace? I'm sure two of Azura's men will be killed," Aserious replied to me. He was right, but where could I get two strong people?   "A vampire? Or an immortal like me?" I smirked when I said this.   "You know someone with a powerful power same to you, right? And that is your two friends, right?" Aserious asked, and he was referring to Jejo and Heiyo.   "I can tell them to help me in a fight," I said. I'm not sure where they are right now, but I'll attempt to find them.   "I will leave you here first. You look after my palace," I told Aserious. He nodded.   I was transported to the immortal world, and when I arrived, I proceeded to Froste Palace. There are only a few houses here, and I know that the two live here. When I noticed the two of them walking together, they came to a halt; they seemed to sense me right away.   "King Sander? What exactly are you doing here?" Heiyo asked me.   "How are you two doing? Is your life going well here?" I asked Heiyo and Jejo.   "We're okay. I know you need something, which is why you came here, so tell us about it, King Sander." Jejo added, and I just smiled.   "I need your help because I want to murder someone, but there are barriers. I want you to remove those four men," I told Heiyo and Jejo.   "Who are you planning to kill? What exactly is it? Is it vampires? Or are they also immortal?" Heiyo asked me.   "They are four beasts. They are like creatures, but they can look like humans; I'm not sure if I'll kill their master or make her my queen," I explained to both of them.   "Is that a mortal? If it is mortal again, I'm not interested if it does," Heiyo stated as he walked away.   "He's an immortal like me, and the four beasts are Azura's knights," I told them, and Jejo laughed.   "That means Azura is weak. Therefore she has four beasts," Jejo continued to chuckle.   "I'm not sure why she has four beasts, but Azura is also strong," I explained to the two of them.   "What are we waiting for? Let's kill them. Let's kill that four beasts," Heiyo exclaimed as I interfered.   "Let's return to my world first," I said to Heiyo and Jejo.   "What exactly are we going to do there? Didn't you say we will kill the four beasts right away?" I shook my head as Heiyo spoke.   "Because I will give you the reward," I explained, knowing they could carry out my orders.   "Will you hand it over straight away? What if you outperform us? It's too bad you handed it to us," Heiyo said to me, and I considered it.   Heiyo was correct when I said that if I didn't reward them right now and didn't slay the four beasts, the award I would offer them would be wasted.   "I'll give you a reward, much like when someone is slain in Azura's palace," I explained, and they were surprised because I used Azura's name.   "Azura is the name; when we go there, she doesn't need to be there," Heiyo said to me.   "She's not there right now. Azura is in the mortal world the whole time. Azura believed I didn't know where she was going all the time," I told Heiyo and JeJo, knowing she was headed to the ocean tribe.   "All right, we're going to start right now," Heiyo remarked, and I teleported back to my world.   I was taken aback because I was with Heiyo and Jejo.   "Why did you two follow me?" I ask them.     "Doesn't that four beasts are here?" Jejo asked me.   "It's in the demon world, and the palace's name is Feax Kingdom," I explained, and they nodded.   As I entered my palace after Jejo and Heiyo had left, I noticed Aserious standing there, obviously waiting for me to return.   "How are you, King Sander? Have you contacted Heiyo and Jejo?" Aserious inquired.   "Yes, I talked to them, and they're going to start there right now," I said to Aserious. And I smiled at him.   Azura will never save her friends and the four beasts when she returns because the important people in her life will perish again.   Azura's PoV   I stopped walking, and Zero and I are now eating in the same area where many children are playing.   "Are you all right?" Zero questioned me.   "I'm thinking about the palace. You're aware that the elves and Sam are there," I told Zero that I was afraid something terrible would happen to them.   "Don't think about them, didn't I tell you not to?" I sighed as Zero spoke to me.   "I'm sorry that I realized how important elves are to me, especially Sam and Jaja," I apologized to Zero, and we sat down when we finished walking.   "You taught Sam how to be even stronger, so I'm sure she won't be trounced," Zero assured me. I knew Sam wouldn't give up so easily.   "The palace is also double-protected," Zero clarified to me.   "Yes, you are correct. I'm not going to think about them anymore, and they're with the four beasts, so I'm confident they're safe." I told Zero this while resting my head on his shoulder.   "It's delightful to feel this way when I'm with you," I said, biting into the sandwich I was eating.   "Do you understand why?" Zero informed me.   "Why?" I asked Zero and looked him in the eyes.   "Because you love me so much, and I love you so much," Zero stated, and I laughed.   "Do you want to go anywhere else?" Zero asked me, and I was thinking about going to the mall again, but Zero will be looked at by women again, and I don't want that.   "I want to go back to the demon world because when we go to the mall, someone will look at you again," I said, and Zero laughed.   "What's the point of your laughter? You like the women at the mall, don't you?" When I told Zero, Zero just started laughing.   "I'm laughing because you're even more jealous than I am," Zero said, and my cheeks flushed.   This is why I'm jealous its because I'm pregnant, but Zero has no idea. I'm hoping we can solve this problem soon, so I can tell him I'm pregnant.   "Because of the speed of time, we didn't notice it was going to be night here," Zero said, and he was right.   "Let's go back to the demon world," I said to Zeo, standing up.     We teleported from the portal to the demon world and entered immediately. We teleported to the palace, and I was surprised to see the four beasts fighting and Sam being strangled by a man.   "Sam!" I yelled, and the man who was choking Sam looked at me.   I immediately used my elf form, and I equipped my hammer, formed with my hand, threw it, and the man quickly got away from Sam. I approached Sam right away, and she had a wound on her arm that I was about to treat when she stopped me.   "Avery?" I was taken aback when the man called me the one who struggles with Sam.   "How did it happen that you are still alive? Is that to say you're already immortal? Have you been reincarnated?" I stood up as he said this.   "Are you Sander's servant, am I correct?" When I asked him, he was surprised at what I had said.   I smiled. Do I resemble Avery? What are he and Sander? All I know is that Avery is my mother's sister.   "If you don't want to admit it, I know because I'm waiting for Sander to come here; where is he? I despise cowards." I said this, and the man beside him laughed.   "Jejo, she's not Avery; she just looks like her," another person said.   "My lady, be careful. They're both immortal," Zach warned, and they rushed up to me.   "You're right, Sander, send us here. We are here to kill everyone important to you!" said the name Jejo.   "Does that mean you also slaughtered elves and witches?" I paused for a moment, and they both floated away, so I jumped.   I revealed my wings, and they were both surprised. Were they surprised because my wings were red?   "This is all Sander ordered us to do, but it appears you have a strong bond with Avery. Am I correct?" I was asked a question by someone whose name I don't know yet.   "She's my aunt. What else do you want now? Before I murder both of you," Jejo laughed as I said this.   "We're just leaving because you have a connection to Avery, and we don't want to kill a weakling like you," Jejo explained, which irritated me even more.   "What exactly did you say?! I'm not a wimp!" I yelled, and they vanished, and Gab came to a halt.   "Let them be my lady. It appears Sander just ordered them, and they weren't able to fight you," Gab said.   "They are weak! Do they think I'm weak? I'll kill them and the one who ordered them!" I said, and then I walked away.   "Don't think of them anymore, Azura," Zero said, and I remembered Sam.   "Azura," Sam's frail voice said, and when I looked at her, a purple color appeared on her arm.   "What the heck is going on?! Why is Sam's wound leaking like this?" I said, and I was about to try to cure her when Zach stopped me.   "Stop, my lady! She had poison in her body. They injured Sam with that poison, and if you treat her, it will spread even more," Zach said, making me sad, but I continued to heal Sam.   "I told you not to treat me," Sam said, explaining that if she was going to die now, how could that demon who liked him not know that Sam was dead?   "Jaja, I need to bring Jaja here," I said, and Sam stop me.   "Don't worry about Jaja; I know she'll be fine," Sam said, so I didn't do anything.   "Let's leave them two first," Zach said, referring to the three beasts and Zero.   I took Sam's hand, and as I looked at her, I saw that the poison in her body was killing her. Her body was becoming weak, and all I could do was watch.   Sander is pure evil; he just killed someone important to me again. When my patience runs out, I will rush him and kill him. My tears streamed as I held Sam's hand for one last time.   Sam closed her eyes and died; I hugged her while crying. Sam is a big part of my life, and my plan has changed. No one will go with Zero to fight Sander's other personnel, and no one can stop Zero from helping me.   I made Sam's grave, then placed flowers on it, carved her full name. I prayed for her soul, stood up, and returned to the palace, steaming tears in my eyes as I walked away from her grave.   "Azura!" I got down on my knees when I heard Zero yell, and I could feel the power of my monster form.   I was crying while holding my head, unsure of what I should do.   "Stay away from me," I said to Zero, pushing him away from me.   "But Azura," Zero appealed.   "Stay away from me, and I'm out of control!" I screamed and felt my horn burst.   "We need to get away, Zero! We can't do anything either; all we need to do is get away!" Skyler even said something, and my vision went black.   When I became a monster and didn't know what to do, I cried again because I was too weak to control my monster form.   Zero's PoV     I didn't leave when I saw Azura's horned appearance and her elf form appeared; instead, I knelt here next to Azura.   I told the four beasts. I'm not leaving; if she kills me, I don't know what matters; what matters is that I calmed Azura down.   "You get out of here and let me go," I said to the four beasts, and they did nothing but leave.   I returned my gaze to Azura, who was doing nothing but closing her eyes; I knew her monster form wasn't bad. I hugged her and kissed her forehead, and I saw tears dripping down her cheeks as she closed her eyes.   "Azura, I'm just here, don't worry, I won't leave you no matter what," I told Azura, but she still didn't open her eyes.   I could also feel Azura's strong power wrapping around the outside of her body. I also saw her red wing emerge, but it didn't move.   "I know you can control this monster form of yours. You're not weak, and we still have a lot of plans for our lives," I told Azura while hugging her.   "Let's get married," I said, and Azura opened her eyes, revealing her red eyes looking straight at my eyes.   "Zero?" Azura called me, and I wiped away her tears.   "Don't worry, I'm still here, and many people love you, including the four beasts, elves, and, most importantly, your parents. They are no longer alive, but I believe their souls are still watching over you," I told Azura, and she just listened.   "So don't think we'll all leave you because we'll never leave you even if we die," I told Azura, and she burst into tears even more and suddenly hugged me.   I hugged Azura and noticed that her wings and horn were slowly dispersing, and I felt like she was hugging me, so I smiled. I calmed her down by embracing and confronting her because I didn't want to see her struggle; I wanted her to be happy because her mother, Scarlet, requested it.   "Thank you, Zero," I heard Azura say, so I let go and looked at her face, wiping her tears away and kissing her forehead.   "You know how much I love you; I won't leave you, even if you kill me while you're in monster form. I don't mind as long as you're okay and safe." When I told Azura, she smiled a little.   "How did the four beats left?" Azura asked.   "I drove them away and told them to leave me here with you," I explained to Azura, and she took my hand in hers.   "You are brave," Azura said, and I laughed. I'm courageous.   **
