Immortal 2 #39

Sander's PoV   I smiled because I sensed Heiyo and Jejo had arrived; they came in and knelt in front of me.   "Why are you kneeling in front of me? I am not your master. You are my friends," I informed Heiyo and Jejo.   "But you ordered us, and we failed as well," they said, but I quickly suppressed my frustration.   "Why didn't you succeed? You won't be able to return here alive if you don't achieve," I told them, and they both looked at me.   "We just killed one woman who was important to Azura," Jejo responded, and I had no idea. Still, it appears that I had hurt Azura again.   "I'm sure Azura is in pain again," I said, turning away from Heiyo and Jejo.   "What does Azura's resemblance to Avery mean? Why are you killing Avery's blood relative if you love her?" I turned to face them both after hearing Heiyo say.   "Avery and Scarlet are not blood-related because Scarlet had a reincarnation when she died, but while Avery didn't die and lived with the curse on her," I explained, and they both fell silent.   "But in a previous life, Scarlet and Avery were twins," I explained, taking a deep breath.   "What is the power of the woman you murdered? Is she an immortal as well?" I inquired of both of them.   "She's a witch," Jejo said, and I assumed that someone else belonged to the witches' tribe. I'm sure there's another, and Azura is just keeping it hidden.   "It's okay if you only killed one of them; you still get a reward," I said to jejo, taking the contents of the jar.   Its flesh contains mighty power from me, and when it enters them, they become even more powerful. I handed it to them, and they immediately opened it.   "You may leave at this time," I said, and they teleported away while I sat on my throne.   The near is coming when I will attack the Feax Kingdom of her own, and I had already gathered many of my men to fight them. I'm sure she has a vast workforce to fight alongside her.   Azura's PoV   I went to the rooftop and saw the moon because it was night, I sat down, and I am still sad. How can I tell Jaja that Sam is no longer with us? I'm afraid to say to her because I'm afraid she'll be too upset and grieve.   I also don't know where they've gone because Queen Dyise said they'd go somewhere to avoid Sander after I told them Sander killed everyone while I was training.   I was concerned that they would be killed even though I had not trained them.   "What exactly are you doing here? I've been looking for you for quite some time. It's a good thing I recognize your scent." When I heard Zero, I turned to face him.   "I'm sorry if I didn't tell you I was going to hang out on the rooftop," I apologized, and Zero sat down beside me.   "Are you troubled again?" Zero asked.   "It's a little sad, but as you said, I just need to stay positive in my head so that my monster form doesn't manifest again," I explained to Zero.   "I also don't know if your entire monster form is like that," Zero said to me, and I thought to myself, I also don't know what I look like when I'm in monster form.   "I'm not sure what I look like in monster form. Please explain to me," I asked Zero because I was curious.   "You have a horn, then you transform into an elf, and your red wings and eyes change color," Zero explained. I had no idea that was just my monster form.   "I'll make sure that next time I can control my monster form," I told Zero.   "But even in monster form, you're still beautiful," Zero said, and I smiled back.   "Aren't my fangs enormous? Are my fingernails long?" When I asked Zero, he shook his head.   "I didn't notice because I was focused on your face," Zero explained, so my cheeks flushed, and I averted my gaze.   "Because you didn't show your teeth, I couldn't tell how long your fangs were," Zero explained, and I chuckled.   "Let's change the way we talk about monster form; I'm wondering how I can tell Jaja about Sam," I tried to suggest to Zero.   "Don't go to Jaja now because Sander might discover where she is," Zero advised. But Jaja deserves to know what happened to Sam.   "The witches believe that if someone dies with them, they can feel it. Jaja will come here if she feels it," Zero explained to me.   "Yes, you're right, they have visions, and they know what's going to happen," I said to Zero, but it appears that Jaja doesn't have a vision because she's still studying.   But if Jaja felt something was missing in her, I'm sure she'd find a way to get here to my palace, but it shouldn't be here in the palace. We should meet elsewhere.   "This is what I thought when Jaja came here and told her I wasn't here and I was in a place like the black market or the forest," I explained to Zero.   "Leave it to us. We will tell her like that when Jaja arrives," Zero said, and I smiled.   "Thank you, Zero," I said, leaning against his shoulder.   I was already drowsy when Zero told me to go to our room; when we arrived, I went in and promptly went to bed. I hope I don't dream about people who died due to my actions; I don't want to dream tonight.   "Go to sleep; I'll keep an eye on you until you fall asleep," Zero said, and I smiled.   "Okay, good night," I said to Zero as I closed my eyes.   It's dark all around me once more. I'm sure I'm dreaming again, and I need to get out of bed. I was surprised to see only one woman dressed in a white gown, confused about it.   "Can you tell me who you are?" When I asked, the woman who is in the white-dressed turned to face me.   I was surprised because I resembled the woman in the white dress; I approached her and was about to take her hand in mine when she backed away.   "My name is Avery," she said, and I was surprised because I assumed it was Mom, but it turned out to be Avery.   "What's the point of being in my dream? I'd rather wake up if you're here to stop me," I told her, and she didn't say anything.   When I turned around, I didn't hear her say anything else; it was good, and she understood. When I listened to her sobbing, I turned to face her.   "Please forgive Sander; he only acts this way because he sees you because you look like me," she explained.   "While I'm in heaven, I know what's going on; Sander wants to see me again, so I hope you can forgive him," she said as I lowered my palm.   "I can't forgive Sander because he murdered everyone who meant anything to me! You were mistaken when you fell in love with him, and you were mistaken!" I said this to Avery, and then she vanished, and I awoke.   I chased my breath until I found myself next to Zero, who was also sleeping. Auntie's love was completely wrong because Sander is a demon who doesn't care if he hurts someone only to fulfill his desires.   I turned to hug Zero; I felt him move, and he hugged me back. His body was so hot that it was wonderful to hug him, and it was also wonderful to feel when we were so close to each other's bodies.   "Did you had a nightmare again?" Zero asked, hugging me.   "Yeah, it's good. I woke up right away," I said to Zero, and he looked at me, so I looked at him as well.   "You want us to sleep together so we can have a good dream," Zero said, and I laughed, knowing that my dream could never be beautiful.   Since losing my parents, I've been having bad dreams, which I couldn't change and had grown accustomed to. I know I blame myself for my bad dreams, but it's a good thing I'm fighting it.   "Close your eyes," I heard Zero say, so I did.   I was walking through a forest, and it appeared that I was alone. I was surprised when there was snow, and my surroundings abruptly changed. When I saw a boy with blood on his hand, and he is barefoot, my eyes widened.   I went over there and in front of it, and I was surprised because its eyes were gold, and it suddenly looked like a wolf and ran. I followed the boy and came to a halt when I heard a baby cry.   When I turned around, I saw Zero carrying the baby and myself there, they were happy, and I smiled slowly because I thought my dream had gone wrong again.   They were gone, and when I opened my eyes, it was morning, and Zero was nowhere to be found. When I got up, I noticed there was food on the side, and it appeared that Zero had brought it for me.   I stood up and began eating, all the while waiting for Zero to return to our room. He appears to have eaten downstairs, and he thinks I was still sleeping.   Fortunately, my dream was good, so I awoke quickly, because sometimes when I have a terrible dream, I wake up for a long time and even ask for assistance. I drank the water here after eating, and I would have stood up when Zero entered.   "You're awake, and you've finished your breakfast," Zero said as he picked up the tray.   "Yes, thank you for bringing food here," I replied, and Zero smiled.   I got out of bed and changed my clothes; when I came out, Zero spoke immediately, and I came to a halt.   "Jaja is here,"   "Tell Jaja I'm in the ancient tree near the witch's palace," I said to Zero, and Zero nodded.   "Be careful when you go there," Zero advised me, and I agreed.   I teleported there, and when I arrived at the ancient tree, Clark immediately came out, as if he was curious about why I was there.   "What brings you here? Do you require anything?" Clark questioned.   "Can I come here because I need to talk to someone?" I asked Clark.   "All right, I know you're thinking of a witch's situation," Clark said as quickly as he could see it in his vision.   When I saw Zach teleporting Jaja, I thanked him.   "Thank you, Zach," I said.   "Jaja, I need to talk to you about something," I said, but I was scared to tell her about Sam's death, but if she knows it, then she won't be here.   "I came to the palace because I miss you," Jaja told me while smiling at me.   "I'm sorry if I take you here to the ancient tree. It's because I don't want Sander to found you. I also miss you," I told Jaja, and I hug her as she hugged me back.   "So, what is it you want to talk about?" She asks me, and I look down and hold her hand. I don't think this is the time to tell her about Sam's death.   "I want to talk about your training in Ocean's tribe. How is it going?" I ask her, and her expression change.   "It was awesome to train in the Ocean's tribe. I learn many things!" She said while smiling.   "That's good to hear! That's all I wanted to talk about! It would help if you went back to the Ocean's tribe. I'm worried that Sander might find us," I told her, and she nodded to me, and I smile at her.   "Clark, could you assist Jaja in returning to the Ocean's Palace? Where do they now reside?" I said to Clark, and he nodded once more.   Clark constructed a portal, and I turned around immediately. I don't care where the Ocean's tribe is right now; I'm sure Sander knows where the Ocean's tribes live.   I can't allow Sander to kill Jaja either.   "Thank you, Clark," I said to Clark, and the portal in front of me vanished while Jaja entered the portal.   "Are you all right? Do you want me to bring you some fireflies?" Clark said to me. Clark was very kind to whoever ordered him to make me smile constantly. I'm very thankful to that person.   "All right, give them to me; I'll release them to my kingdom in my palace," I said to Clark, and he built some fireflies in his hand and placed it in the jar.   "Thank you, Clark; I'm returning to the palace," I said to Clark, and he nodded.   I teleported back to my palace, where I found myself holding a jar full of fireflies. I looked up at the sky, realizing it was too early to release the fireflies.   I went straight to my palace, and when I walked in, Zero was waiting for me. I approached him, sat on the sofa, and place the jar with fireflies on the table, and he rested his head on my shoulder.   When he teased me, he said, "I miss you." I just went out for a while, and then he already misses me.   "I just got out for a short time. You miss me already?" I told Zero, and he took my hand in his.   "You know I always want you around, so why are you holding a jar full of fireflies?" Zero questioned me.   "Clark handed it over to me. He just wanted to make me happy," I told Zero, and he said nothing; was he jealous?   "Are you jealous?" I questioned Zero.   "No," Zero replied, so I moved my head away from his shoulder and looked at him.   "I can tell you're jealous by the way you look!" I laughed as I told Zero.   "Yes, I'm jealous. You know I'm a werewolf. I have nothing to fight with Clark," Zero admitted, making me laugh even more challenging.   "I won't like someone," I said, kissing Zero's cheek.   **
