Azura's PoV
I was ready to go to the elves area the next day to learn how to use elf form and their powers.
"I expect you five to guard the palace as well as the soldiers and servants here," I said.
"Are soldiers and maid workers that important to you? Shouldn't they be left alone when they're finished?" Jeff asked, so I glared at him.
"Our soldiers and volunteers have families, as I'm sure you can imagine; I just told you that I lost my parents, and now you're going to abandon them?" I said, and Jeff remained silent.
"I'm just telling you, and you complain right away Jeff," I said; Gabriel, punch him.
"I'm sorry, my lady, I'll teach him a lesson," Gabriel said to me.
"It's okay. I know you can get used to me," I said as I exited the palace.
I was about to teleport when Zero grabbed my arm, and he hugged me. Did he miss me right away? I haven't even left the palace yet.
"Why?" I'll ask.
"You forgot to kiss me," he said to me, and suddenly he kissed me, so I touched his cheek, and he touched my waist and my cheek.
I smiled when I saw his cheek was red when he opened his eyes.
"Take care," he said as he hugged me, and I hugged back.
After that, I left for good, and when I arrived at the elves' residence, I changed my clothes, and I now wear a green hood and a green robe.
When I approached the man guarding the gate, he seemed surprised. He feels I was immortal.
"What does an immortal doing here?" Ask some questions about me.
"I'd like to speak with your queen or king," I told him, but he didn't seem to believe me.
"And what do you need? If you're going to kill them, you're going in the wrong way," he told me.
"Does it look like I'm going to kill? I would have killed you before you could speak here," I told him earnestly, and he was surprised.
"I just want to learn elf form, so I'd like to speak with your leader," I clarified.
"All right, I'll go with you," he said, and we went right inside, almost to the barrier that was here.
When we entered the elf palace, the high-ranking people looked at me, and the queen looked at me and approached me.
"What does an immortal doing in this place?" I knelt down to pay my respects to the queen after she asked me a question.
"I'd like to learn elf form. If you allow an immortal like me, I can provide you with additional security in your elf palace." I spoke up, and I heard whispers.
"Is this all you want to know? Is there something else?" The queen questioned.
"I want to learn how to use your power," I said, and the queen helps me to stand up.
"Someone will teach you how to do the elf form and elf powers; it will take you a month here before you learn everything," she said. I had no idea elf form and elf powers were so simple.
"I understand, but before I begin my training, please allow me to introduce myself," I said as I removed my hood.
"My name is Azura Alwina Cynthia Feax, and I'm a half-wizard and half-immortal." The queen was surprised when I told her.
"Do you mean your father is a wizard and your mother is an immortal?" she questioned.
"My mother is a wizard, and my father is immortal," I explained, and she became sad.
"We've heard before in the fixuiroius world, there's a princess killed by an immortal we don't know who it is, but it's said to be an order of a king in that world," she said, my eyes widening.
"A king in that world?" I questioned, and she nodded, and I abruptly lowered my hands in anger.
Why did he kill again, and this time a princess? Perhaps the elves who live there are not to blame.
"I know who killed elves like you. King Sander Gabriel De'youre is an immortal and the strongest in his world," I said, which surprised them and caused them to start whispering.
"How did you meet him, Azura?" The queen asked.
"Because he killed my parents," I clarified, and the queen unexpectedly hugged me.
"Don't worry, we'll help you get stronger so you can avenge the death of your parents. Also, I am Queen Mei," she said as I let go of her hug.
"Thank you, Queen Mei," I said as she summoned a staff member from the elf palace.
"Come and meet the new elf member! She deserves to be respected!" she ordered, and two female elves accompanied me.
"This is where we'll go, Miss Azura," she said to me, and I followed them until I came to a large room where the female and male elves opened up to me.
"They will teach you. Herra Labin and Joz Labin are siblings," she said, and I smiled.
"Welcome! Miss Azura," I was surprised to hear my name called so quickly. They hadn't been there before, so how did they know?
"You choose whether you want to learn dark elf or light elf power," Herra said as she made me sit down.
"I'd like to know what dark elf and light elf powers can do," I said, staring at the two siblings.
"The power of a Dark elf is the strongest when compared to the power of a light elf or call modern elf because the power of dark elf is unique," Herra explained to me, and I simply listened.
I appear to prefer dark elf power over modern elf power.
"Joz knows more about dark elf's power because he's the stronger of the two of us," Herra said. Does that mean their queen is also strong, and he knows dark elf's power and modern elf's power?
"You can learn a lot from me, Azura, but listen carefully because the power of the dark elf's power is sometimes dangerous because modern elves are afraid of it," Herra said.
"I can learn everything, so I want to know about the elf form," I said, and Herra took a book and handed it to me.
"If you have a monster that lives in you, it's hard to study your elf form, so if you can control it. We don't have a problem anymore," Herra said again, and I read what was in the book.
According to the book, to change into an elf, you must remain calm and imagine yourself in a forest with many elves watching you. You must also breathe constantly to feel the power to change form.
It also states that I must have the power of nature, which consists of air, water, and earth. I put the book down because I knew exactly what I needed to do.
"Perhaps I'll put the elf form before the power of the dark's elf," I said as I stood up.
"You chose the power of a dark elf? Is that something you're okay with?" Joz asked, and I nodded.
"I won't regret my decision. But, where would I focus so that I can start my training doing elf form?" I asked them.
"We have a room here that's spacious, and we won't bother you; just go outside when you need something," Joz said, opening a door near them where the table was.
"Thank you, Herra and Joz," I said. I was about to enter when Herra handed me the book again.
"It's important that there are other types of elf forms here, and that form can be permanent or temporary," she said, and I nodded.
"All right, thank you, Herra," I said as I shut the door.
I rolled my eyes at this room because it was just the right size, there were no distracting appliances, and you could really focus on it. I sat on the floor, opened the book to the page about how to do elf form, and learned it.
I couldn't believe it when I suddenly coughed, and blood spat out in the book, so I was surprised. I will be in big trouble If I didn't clean it right away.
I used my water power, and then I used wind power to dry it immediately, but it still wasn't removed. I was nervous that I might be scolded.
Should I tell them? But I'm curious as to why I coughed up blood. I'm just going to concentrate; can't I do the elf form on my own? I stood up and was about to turn the doorknob when I came to a halt.
What if they take me away right away because I'm frail? I know I can transform into an elf, but why did I cough up blood? I opened the door, and Herra was surprised; it's a good thing she's the only one here now.
"What happened, Azura? Are you okay? Why is the book have blood?" She asked me and looked at the book.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," I said sadly as she patted my shoulder.
"I know you can do it, get rid of what you're thinking, especially about your family who is no longer with you. Because it will have an impact on your training," I smiled as she told me.
"Thank you, Herra," I said as I watched her clean up my blood from the book that had been left; I try to clean it, but it had become even dirtier; look, it's good that she cleaned it again.
"Keep this book clean next time because it's the only one," she said, and I nodded.
I returned to the room and sat down, looking at the book she claimed had only one copy. I smiled as I used my power to print a large number of copies of the book.
I set the books aside; I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys studying elf form in this manner. I sat down again and closed my eyes, first removing Zero and my family from my mind because I needed to focus.
I opened my eyes it surprised to see myself in the mirror right in front of me. It had formed in my ear and as if my waist had shrunk a little.
As I approached, I couldn't help but smile; I had done it! Then, I reverted to my non-elf form, and when I opened my eyes, they returned to normal.
I would have come out if I hadn't remembered that the elf form can be permanent; if I do, many people will wonder if I'm an elf or an immortal.
Maybe I won't do that permanent thing. I just need the elf form because of the dark elf powers I'll be studying. So I finally went out, and Herra was there.
"Are you finished right now?" Herra questioned, and I showed her the results of my elf form.
"Great! You're the only one who quickly mastered the elf form!" Herra told me, and I couldn't believe I was the only one who could learn elf form so quickly.
My power and ability are indeed a mystery. I'm not sure what kind of my father used to be as an immortal. Is he also mighty? But why did he allow himself to perish?
"Are you thinking about something else?" Herra asked, and I shook my head.
"I'm not surprised that I can quickly learn elf form," I told Herra, and she smiled.
"Dark elf power cannot be made easy because it is dangerous," she said as Joz entered. He was taken aback by what he saw now.
"Did you start studying elf form right away? I still can't believe it," he said to me, looking at me closely.
"Do you have a problem?" When I asked, he suddenly smiled.
"Because there were wizards who used to like the elf form but made a mistake, I see that your elf form is correct," he said, tapping me on the shoulder.
"I will teach you the dark elf's power, but in your place," he said to me. But why is this so?
"Do you mean in my palace?" I asked of him.
"It's necessary outside your palace because that's the best place to train," he explained. I had no idea it was beneficial to train there.
"All right, when we get there, I'll tell my four beasts not to dive on me first," I said, and they both looked surprised.
"You've got four beasts?! What caused it to happen? Did they come up to you on purpose, or did you catch them?" Herra queried.
"My father prepared four of them for me; they come to my palace when I arrive here in the demon world," I replied, and she was surprised by looking at my palm.
"Why? What's the issue?" I inquired of her.
"I see something different in your future; I can't say what it is right now, but the joy and the sorrow will fight with you," she told me, so they could predict what would happen.
"Thank you, Herra, but I don't believe in such things because I know it will happen to me," I said sadly.
"Why would you continue if you knew it was going to happen to you? What is the reason for this?" She inquired.
"I just want to get revenge on my parents, that's all; after that, I'm not going to let anybody see me again," I told her, and she hugged me.
"I only know you now, but my heart tells me I'm close to you; when you need help, just call us with this necklace I'll give you," she said as she slid something into the robe I was wearing.
"Butterfly?" I asked.
"Now you have a friend," I was surprised, so I removed it right away.
"I don't want to make a friend because I'm afraid! I'm terrified!" I said this while closing my eyes to teleport.
When I open my eyes, I'm in the forest and have no idea where I am; I'll calm down first because of what she said. I just don't want to have a friend. After all, I'm afraid I'll be hurt because their lives are more limited than mine. After all, I am an immortal.
