Adrian’s P.O.V

Upon arrival to Blood Moon’s territory, Ray and I walked to greet Alpha James to discuss our travels. Anything to avoid China until she calmed down. She would never forget what we did but at least we could allow her time to cool off so our wolves could keep their fur and we could limp away.

“Alpha James, pleasure meeting you again. Thank you for allowing us to stay within your borders tonight.” Adrian greeted.

“Well Beta Adrian, if you still hold that title?” Alpha James questioned. “I was quite surprised when your warriors requested this stay instead of Alpha Donald, so I am curious as to why he needed it?”

“Actually, Alpha James we did not make this request for Midnight Blue Pack sir.”

“Intriguing! Well, if you did not request this for Donald, whom did you request for and why should I continue to allow this to be granted?” Alpha James questioned.

We had requested a stay, but we did not at the time inform him of who nor why. We had hoped that Donald would change his mind and tried to repair his bond with my sister. Good thing we made this choice ahead of time.

“Alpha James, we made this request for my sister and 60 of our wolves,” I stated. Alpha James has always been like family to our parents. So I know he will do anything to help us with our travels.

“So that i***t went through with it? Goddess, that fool doesn’t understand what he was blessed with. I would have hoped one of my boys were lucky enough to have her as a mate.' He sighed. "So, let me guess he banished her and took on the pack w***e as his new mate?” Ray and I exchanged glances. How did he know that he would reject her?

“So you knew he would reject her? How did you find out?” Ray questioned.

“Luna Lola told me, herself. I am of course the one who also signed the territory over to sweet China. We took these precautions because we know and have discussed for years what her purpose is. As you two know she is destined to fulfill the Prophecy.” Alpha James stated.

“Yes sir, we have two years until the next eclipse to get everyone prepared for what's to come. She has to be prepared before he comes back for her.” I noted.

“You seem to have forgotten an important detail, Beta Adrian. She has a long road ahead before she can start her preparations. She must first forgive Donald and find her second chance fated because it will take them all to accomplish this” he stated matter-of-factly.

“Well, it will be a cold day in hell before she will forgive him. You didn’t see how she was when he rejected her. I have never seen my sister so broken. I fear that her second chance mate will have a year of hell before she will open herself up to them.” I announced

“It must be done. You must find a way to coax her into thinking that forgiveness was her idea, as this is the best way to fulfill the Prophecy. I will provide you all with a few of my warriors when you are ready to start your travels in the morning and they will assist you with getting your pack up and running. Send my best regard and congratulations to Alpha China.” Alpha James led us to the pack doors.

“Thank you for your time Alpha James we will be on our way. We want to be to the territory by noon tomorrow so we will have a rest beforehand.” Ray responded.

“Gentlemen, you do know if you tell her I knew to save your asses when we all go before the Moon Goddess I will make you wish you went to hell instead. Innocent my ass that sister of yours the devil.” We all laughed. “No, but I mean it, keep me out of it. Got it?”

“Yes, Alpha!” Ray and I exclaimed.
