CHAPTER: 9 Serpent's Awaken

The next morning was born without any problem, Zilon and Palon were still being an unconscious state and being in bed. They both have lesser mana than Aradia that’s why the recovery was being so slow. In this world, everything is based on their mana. If the person has the higher mana then they can able to do so many great things like performing the powerful spells, recovering speed would be great, and also their physical strength will be great.

   Aradia was being on the guest room at Esldair's house and thinking about the village people and their beliefs. What is going on with this village? At first, I thought they are being normal but after looking at their house and their talk, I can able to understand something is wrong here and I have to find out before something happens to my brother and friends. I have to do something… What can I do? What can I do? At that time suddenly she hears a knocking sound at the door.

   “Aradia, are you awake?” Esldair knocking the door and asked her. Then after some seconds, Aradia tried to act like she just woke up right now. “Yeah… Come in”. She said sluggishly and acted like she was still half asleep. And Esldair gets inside the room withholding a cup of coffee for Aradia. “Here is your coffee, I hope it tastes good for you”. After getting the cup Aradia had some sip of that coffee and said “It is great”. After saying it soon Aradia gets to the important topic. “What is the time I am going to meet the leader of this village?”

   At first, she was silent and enjoyed the coffee and after some minutes Esldair replied to her question, “Yeah… About that, the village leader said to me that he will meet you after breakfast”. Then after knowing it Aradia just being quiet and nodded her head at Esldair. After finishing her coffee Aradia walked out of the room and when she steps out, Esldair asked her “Where are you going now when we are going to eat the breakfast?” At first Aradia didn't want to say anything to her but now she doesn't have a choice then do anything against them because they still hold Arago in prison.

   “I am going to meet my brother and find out whether he ate last night or not?” When she said it, Esldair smiled at her and replied, “No, that thing did not eat anything yesterday. Dark realm monsters are soul eaters they won't eat the kind of foods we eat every day”. When she said it Aradia was angry at that moment and looked at her. Esldair felt the rage of Aradia stunned and felt the mana power of Aradia and still rising higher and higher just like the dragons.

   Usually, Mana was so limited to each species and for Elf or Wizard, they can increase the mana a higher little amount than they have but dragons have the capability to increase their mana five times stronger than their original mana but in that process, they lose their life energy and die soon. So Dragon never uses that and plans it as a last resort. So when Aradia’s mana started to increase higher than the normal wizard, Esldair was surprised and understood that she was not a normal wizard.

   And the reason Aradia was losing her calm and raging her emotion is that by remembering about her brother. In his childhood, Arago always loved to eat tasty food and finish everything before Aradia gets her part. So mostly in that food topic Arago and Aradia fight more and after hearing that these people never gave food to her brother and being chained like a real monster was hurting her heart more. My brother was not food and drank a single drop of water and was inside that damn prison with chains on hands and legs.

   But I was in the house and ate food and was so comfortable. I am not being a good sister. I trusted these people would treat him just like me but it was wrong. I made a mistake by listening to these people. Whatever happens next I will face it but now I am going to release my brother. After deciding it Aradia kept her first step outside the room and at that time Esldair asked a question to her, “Who are you? I am sure that no witch has the power to increase their power limitless like Dragon and also there was a price for increasing the mana but after seeing you, I think you defy every law of mana nature”.

   After she asked for it Aradia just turned her face back a little and said “Not just Mana, even the world's nature will be useless against me. I am the outclassed witch from the wizard clan and the monster you hurt was my brother who is going to be the future wise leader for the Wizard clan. And I am going to be the leader of all wizards and witches”. After she says it Aradia increases her mana even higher and then Esldair can sense the level and is shocked.

   I can’t able to understand it… What is going on here? How a witch can able to emit mana which is equal to the royal dragons. That boy was holding the Dark Realm Monster power and she was having the mana which is equal to the dragons. What's with these two weird brothers and sisters? After getting so many questions on her mind, to stop the problem Esldair planned to give food to Arago and make Aradia calm. If she uses her power sure lots of life will be gone.

   “I know what you are planning to do but don't because if you do then sure nothing good will happen the next. Sure the kingdom sees your action and waging war against the Wizard clan. So don't do anything so stupid Aradia and also if your anger will not be satisfied then accept my sorry. I am sorry for treating your brother as a monster”. After hearing it Aradia’s mind changed from rage into calm and accepted her apology.

   “Then I need help from you, can you do it for me?” Aradia asked Esldair and at first, she was confused about what she was planning to ask but then without any choice on her hands Esldair said: “Ok, let me know what kind of help do you want from me?” And Aradia said her request to Esldair, “I will feed my brother and you or the guard should not be there”. I want to be with my brother and talk with him about something important and I don't want elves to know about it”.

   When she said it Esldair understand that she was going to talk something about the wizard clan or the real truth of her brother. The Esldair said “Ok, I will give the order to the guards and you can talk to your brother but until I will close the door while you are still inside for the safety of this village. After fifteen to twenty I will come back to get you out of there and we both can meet the village leader. After she said it Aradia also nodded her head as yes then she gets to the kitchen to prepare food for her brother. While preparing she started to remember her past childhood days where Aradia was the one who cooks at home even she was that mature and Arago stands beside her by holding her dress.

   He was afraid of going alone and talking to other children, Arago always was with his sister Aradia, he felt so calm and was without any fear only when Aradia was around him otherwise he would start to cry. And while thinking about it Aradia can understand how her brother will feel right now being alone at an unknown place and not eating any food for the entire day and her eyes letting out some tears. After some time Aradia finishes a dish for her brother and gets to that place.

   And when she got out the small boy veneth was there and said “Good morning”. Aradia smiled towards him and said back “Good morning”. Then Veneth said “You are going to meet your brother right, I will come there with you too. And also just like I made a promise to you, I was there and was there as a protective knight for your brother. I was sure no one was close to your brother or tried to hurt him”. When he said it with a big smile, Aradia smiled back and patted his head then started to walk.

   Esldair was also walking with them, and in the way, Veneth just talked with Aradia without a pause, he was trying to show his feelings to her and trying desperately but Aradia was older and it looked fun for her. At last, they reached the place where Arago was being prisoned. After reaching there Esldair released the protective spell and let Aradia inside and Veneth also entered with her. “Veneth comes out, they need some family things to discuss, come let's meet the leader and plan about the festival”. After saying it Veneth was about to get out but at that time he stopped and replied to Esldair, “No, I am a protective knight for Aradia and her brother”. After saying it Esldair was so tired of his childish things and said in a rough voice “Now, listen to me and come with me”.

   But Veneth don't want to go with her and want to stay with Aradia, then Aradia said it Esldair, “You don't worry, he can be here. If it was him then there is nothing to worry about”. After hearing it Esldair started to move from there but in her heart, she feels something was not right but Esldair can’t able to find what was happening around her.

   At that time, on some further distance from the village, a mountain was moving so hard, trees were falling and the animals and birds were moving so fast here and there without any idea. The ground was crumbling so hard that the village people were able to feel the earthquake. And after so much crumbling a giant brown snake comes out of the underground and looks around with its glittering golden eyes. It was so large that even the mountain was so small that the village could be destroyed by it within some seconds.
