CHAPTER: 8 Mystery Village

Aradia was slowly opening her eyes and looking around and she notices a roof above her and slowly turns around and sees the surroundings and then realizes she was in someone’s house and looks on her feet and finds that her wounds were treated and the poison effects were drained from her body. As soon as she noticed, she looks around for her brother, but Arago was not there and soon she remembers that black figure which carried her. What has happened and why did Arago change into that form again?

   Then she gets out of bed and looks around the place for her brother and her subordinates. “Arago… where are you? Zilon and Palon, where are you guys?” While calling their names, a small person came to that place and was shocked by seeing Aradia. She was also shocked after seeing a small elf boy coming to that place and then Aradia realized that she was in Elves’s village. And with a glare towards that small elf boy, Aradia asked “Do you know where is my brother and my friends?”

   After she asked with a glare, the small was feared at that moment and started to cry. And by hearing the crying a nurse gets there and notices Aradia was standing there. “Oh we never thought you would wake up so soon. It shows you are stronger than the other two”. When she said ‘Other two’ Aradia was confused and asked her “What do you mean other two?” The nurse replied “I am saying the other two wizards affected by poison were so weak and their bodies were so weak. Even if you all came to this village late by a few minutes, sure they two will be dead and you will be on the verge of death”.

   After she said it Aradia asked, “What now? Are they safe now?” Even though she finds that the elf was the one who helped them, but still she is in a defensive position and asking the question. The nurse said to her with a smile, “You don't have to worry, they both are safe now but I don't think they will wake up soon like you”. After she said that they were safe Aradia was so happy and also got relief in her heart. And soon she noticed that the nurse only talks about Zilon and Palon but not mentioned her brother. And she asked her about her brother Arago.

   “Did you where is my brother Arago? He is also the wizard with us?” When she said it the nurse was laughed a little and said, “No, when he got you guys we found you three wizards and a monster. And then we placed that monster in jail with tight security. We treated you three on one condition of our treaty but we didn't make any treaty with monsters so he was in there. I am sorry but there are so many questions around you three and with that unusual monster so we can’t let those things and also you three from our custody. I hope you like our hospitality and please be wait until we get some solid answers for the confusion you guys made”.

   After hearing it Aradia was so confused and didn't know why they were saying her brother was a monster. “You are wrong, my brother is not a monster, it was his other form, when my grandfather and I found him, he was that way. And my grandfather also said that unlike us wizards he was special and use his wizard power in that form. He was not a monster so just let him out of jail and I need to see him”. While she says it unknowingly her eyes started to let out some tears which shocked the nurse.

   “I can understand the situation and also the story but the truth is your brother is not a wizard. He was the monster species that can kill even the dragon without any problem. There is more about them but you talk about that with your grandfather is best. And right now the decision is taken by our village head and sure we can’t let him out”. When she said it Aradia was so sad and she closed her eyes and the nurse continued her talk and said, “I can allow you to see him but don't try to do some funny trick and make his escape. Even if you try there is no way you can do it”. When the nurse said it Aradia was started to feel that intense high mana around the nurse and she asked, “Who are you?”

   Then she replied, “I am the Ex-Head Warrior of Elves army, my name is Esldair Avendate. Nice to meet you, I am surprised that even after showing off my bloodlust mana you still have the strength to fight back. If I train you sure you will become a worthy opponent but you were born on the wrong species sister”. After saying it Esldair started to walk away from there with that small boy. “Don't feel fear, she just wanted to see her small brother and lost her temper”. After she said it, the small boy got near to Aradia and said, “Don't worry I get angry too when someone teases my little sister, so I forget about your anger and let's be friends”.

   After he said it Aradia was smiled a little towards him and shook hands with him then continued to follow Esldair. After seeing her smile the small boy fell in love with Aradia at that moment. “Wow… She was so beautiful when she smiled. After being mesmerized by her beauty he wanted to be with her always and know more about her. I am going to show my love to her and make her stay with me just like how my brother said about love.

   “Veneth why are you standing there and dreaming something?” Esldair called him and then he ran towards them and started to follow Aradia by holding her hands. At first, Aradia was surprised by seeing an elf boy holding a wizard's hand but soon she saw some resemblance with her brother Arago so she also held her tight and smiled back at him. After getting out of the house they get some distance and enter into the forest on the mountain. “Why are we getting here?” Aradia asked her and Esldair replied, “Just like I said we placed him in jail and it was in the middle of the forest”.

   Veneth started to talk about that jail to Aradia. I know about the story of how this jail was built. My grandmother said about it, Before the treaty was formed this world faced a big foe called the Dark Realm Monsters. No one knows how these monsters were formed and born in this world but they have the power to kill even the strong dragon and powerful wizard. After knowing it all the kingdom and people were consumed by fear. And the war was ended by knowing some secrets of that monster.

   An elf was caught a monster and researched that monster and after knowing how to escape from them he somehow manage to save the elves' kingdom from that monster's danger. And this place is built by him and researched that monster there. So Madan Esldair and the village head believe that place will control your brother. Don't worry nothing will happen to your brother. I have hope on Madam Esldair that she will find a way to cure your brother”.

   While he was saying it Aradia smiled and patted his head and they three continued their walk towards that jail. And after a few minutes of walking, they finally reached the jail. It looks like a normal house built under a big rock but the door was built in steel. Aradia tries to get close to see her brother but soon Veneth gets near Aradia and pushed her back by holding her cloth. Then she realized that there is a trace of the spell and asked Esldair, “Aradia why I said it is jail is because this door was and the place was protected by a spell which was used to stop the monster. It was created by the elf who Veneth said to you”.

   After she said it Aradia shouted at her, “Then open the door I need to get inside and see my brother”. And Esldair replied, “I can’t this spell can only deactivate by our village head and also there is a way to see your brother. Just gets close and look inside the window. Other than that there is no way to see your brother”. After hearing it Aradia gets close and looks at the window and searches for her brother and finds out that he was being in an unconscious state and his hands and legs were chained by a magical spell.

   After seeing him being alright Aradia has felt relief and said, “I need to meet your village head and clear your doubt and say about our arrival to this area”. Then Esldair smiled towards her and said “I knew you would say that after meeting your brother, ok let's meet him but not today because there is something I need to do and we can meet him tomorrow. Is that ok with you right?” At that time Aradia looked at that jail and understand the situation of her being without any choice and said, “Ok, I will meet him tomorrow”.

   At the same time Danny, Calen, and Alderin with maids started to walk towards the kingdom. While on the way Calen asked Danny about his past life. When she asked, Danny was so sad and started to say with a sad face. “What can I say, I was from the world called earth. It has so many fun things to do and places where we can enjoy and learn but at the same time it is the most dangerous place where the low people struggle to survive and the higher class people enjoy life without any problem”.

   While he was saying it, suddenly Danny realized he was out of topic, “Sorry, what I was saying is Earth is cool until you are superior, even we have a quote to make sure ourselves right”. When he said it Calen got excited and asked him to say it and Danny also said it to her. “Survival of the Fittest''. This quote and rule explain everything in our world, “if you have strength and power to be top then you will survive, the top will always survive”. When he said it Calen was surprised about his words and his speech because it was the first time Calen got to know more things.

   “This quote is so great and I can get so many meanings from this one sentence. I think your world is great”. Danny nodded his head with a sad face and replied “Yeah… I like my world”. Then they were getting close to the kingdom and Alderin informed her princess, “Madam Princess, we are going to reach the kingdom soon. I hope you will be nice to your parents without any trouble today”.
