CHAPTER: 10 Serpent vs Aradia

After the earth-shaking arrival of one of the four Serpents, it started to move towards the village where Aradia and others were being now. While it was happening on one side, Aradia was being with her brother and checking his health condition and without restraining the chains she was just feeding the food for him. Veneth is just being on the outside and looking around to protect Aradia from any other threats. At that time suddenly the weather changed drastically and a heavy storm started to form in the distance and heavy winds started to blow so strong.

   Veneth and the village people started to notice it, while Esldair was confused about the sudden change. “It was a fine morning just now but now all the sudden it was changed? What is going around here?” While she was asking it loud, a person gets near to her and said “I think one of the Serpents was coming towards our village. We need to be careful right now, even the slightest mistake can lead to our village destruction”. After he said it Esldair asked with hesitation, “What do we have to do now?”. You don't have to worry Esldair, I will talk to the serpent but at that time I need everyone at their home and close all the windows and doors.

    After saying it Esldair started to get every people on their house and check on the safety of the people and then she remembers about Aradia and Veneth, she get to run towards the forest but the leader of the village shouted at Esldair, “Don't worry about them, I need you to be here to protect our people. I know Aradia can manage herself to be safe and also protect her brother”. After he said it without any choice Esldair gets inside the house and is prepared for the worst situation and protects every person in the village.

   Then right after she left and within two minutes the big ground shaking happened at the village and the big serpent got its head from the ground and looked at the buildings. While watching it constantly flicks its tongue out and threatens the leader of the village. After some minutes the serpent gets its head near to the leader and tries to scare him but without moving anywhere he is just like a statue. And then it got up and started to talk while being in its serpent form.

   This village is under my protection and if any kind of species enters here, then you have to inform me but you just made them stay here which is a really bad thing and it made me angry towards you and this village so I am going to destroy you as well as this village. The serpent says it in the ways of whispering, after hearing it Esldair was shocked and trying to get out but other elves caught her hands and said “Wait, don't fear, Orban will manage the situation”. After they said it Esldair was calm herself and listened to their conversation.

   And there the serpent was speaking the Orban and asking so many questions about the new people. “You know everything but still you allowed them and also not asked permission to me. You becoming more arrogant day by day, Orban”. When the serpent said it Orban replied, “I didn't go out of your hands, Rigen. I just waited to meet you to tell you about them because I got so many doubts about them and while I am into the investigation, you just lost your patience just like always and came here”. While he was talking to Rigen, Veneth and Aradia was there and listened to them.

   And after listening to Orban, the serpent called RIgen said to him, “Ok then, I want to meet that wizards and the monster I sensed before. I want to eat that monster, it was ages when last time I tasted them”. While the serpent said it, Aradia was losing her calm and getting angry and Veneth tried to control Aradia by saying, “Don't get angry, I am sure the leader will say something and help your brother. I am sure of it”. While he was telling it to her, the leader Orban replied to Rigen, “Ok, I will arrange for you to meet the wizards and the monster”.

   When he said it Veneth was shocked and Aradia lost her calm completely. “This is it… If anyone wants to take my brother then sure I will not forgive them”. After saying it Aradia started to increase her mana energy rapidly. While increasing Veneth starts to fear her mana and gets away from there. “What is this? I can't be near Aradia? What is happening to her?”. As soon as Aradia increased her mana so high Esldair, Orban and Rigen sensed her easily and looked in that direction.

   “This is interesting…” Rigen said aloud and then suddenly a fireball attacked it so hard. Orban was shocked and looked above, then he finds Aradia was there and using her spell power to attack Rigen. He was shocked to find that she can able to fight Rigen without any fear and also her spells worked on him. Rigen is the creature born from the spell, so no spells were able to hurt him or affect his power but Aradia’s spell attacked Rigen. Not just Orban, every elves and Esldair were shocked by watching it, Veneth was looking at Aradia and smiling knowing that she was able to fight the most powerful creature to save her brother.

   “If anyone tries to harm my brother then I will not show any mercy to them and also I will not see whether they are powerful or not. I will kill them” After saying it Aradia started to chant a powerful spell towards Rigen and it also cast a spell to block the attack. Surprisingly the attack was blocked but also the attack Rigen chanted was blocked by Aradia which surprised everyone. And by watching it from down Orban was saying “Who is she? How she has high mana to fight with Rigen, one of the creatures compared to god”.

   After that the fight between Rigen and Aradia went so intensely, Orban was watching the fight without moving from there. The other elves were shocked by watching the fight. And one of the elves asked Esldair, “Do you know about her mana strength, I think if we get near to them, she will be able to kill us just with her mana strength”. And Esldair said, “Yeah, I know that but I never thought she has the power to fight the serpent. This is shocking to me”.

   While in the fighting the serpent said to Aradia, “Who are you? I am sure that you can’t be a wizard. Because your mana strength was being so equal to the dragons and also I am surprised that your spell attacks affect me. You are something odd in this world”. And Aradia replied, “You are correct, I am the witch who was outcast by the clan, my name is Aradia”. After hearing it everyone was shocked, and Aradia started to attack ferociously but all of a sudden her mana strength started to decrease slowly, and also Rigen was being on its strength and power without any damage.

   Aradia was shocked and asked Rigen, “How you can able to maintain your mana level the same without losing it?” When she asked if Rigen said, “I think you don't know about the creatures born from spells, they have the mana which is equal to the earth’s mana. No one in this world has that much mana to spell creatures”. After saying it Rigen started to increase its mana strength and just by being near Aradia started to lose her sense and slowly lose her consciousness and also the elves in the village were with weak mana falling by Rigen's increasing mana”.
