I'm"I'm sorry for ignoring you," he spoke after breaking the kiss.
"Sorry that's all you have to say for yourself? You know if you don't want me as your mate then just say it and reject me rather than playing with the strings of my heart like this!"
" No I don't want to reject you! I would never do such a thing to the girl I love,"
" Love?" I scoffed, " you don't ignore the person you love,"
"I know and I'm sorry let me make it up to you, how about some dinner tomorrow night?"
"Like a date?" I asked and he smiled nodding his head saying,
"Yeah a date, a special date for a special lady,"
" I would love that," I responded and he grinned widely looking like he just won a lottery ticket.
"Thank you for forgiving me and I promise to treat you right this time," He wrapped his arms around me followed by kissing my forehead.
"But wait ---" I pushed him off looking straight into his eyes.
"What about Ashley?"
"Who is Ashley?" he asked feigning innocence.
" Ashley, the girl who sat on your laps earlier at dinner. Benson's sister?" I explained.
"I don't know what you are talking about come on let's go for a run I would like to see your wolf," He grabbed my hand and led me deeper into the woods.
"Wait you just can't pretend not to know her," I said removing my hand from his, " I need to know what you will do about her. I want her far away from you!"
" Are you jealous?" he asked with a smirk adorning his handsome face.
"No I'm not jealous,"
"Look at you, so jealous!" he chuckled lightly wrapping an around my waist and pulling me closer to his chest.
"No I'm not jealous I just don't like sharing my man!" I said huffing at the end
" Don't worry about her okay, she's nothing to me, why don't you shift, my wolf wants to meet yours," He spoke
I nodded my head and went behind a tree to remove my clothes.
I could have done it in his presence since he's already seen me naked before but girl needs some privacy.
Once I shifted into Lyca,
I walked back to where I left him only to find him not there. I waited a few minutes to see whether he would pop out from behind a tree fully shifted but nothing, he was no where to be seen.
I sniffed the air trying to track down his scent but for some reason I couldn't smell a thing, it was almost non existent.
'That's strange he was right here a second ago,' I muttered to myself.
"Maybe he went to see the Luna," Lyca commented in my head and not willing to dwell on it much longer, I proceeded to take the run.

"Do you think he will introduce us to the whole pack as his mate today?" Lyca excitedly asked in my head while I got dressed for school
After coming back to the room yesterday, I found a text from Claudio where he apologized for abruptly leaving and said that he had a surprise for me.
"I think so,"
"I hope so, I can't wait to see Ashley's face when he puts her in her place," she spoke again and I nodded my head in affirmation.
"Yeah, and there won't be a need for us to even cut her head off," I said with a small laugh and Lyca did the same reminding me of how we planned on cutting her head off the previous night.
Once I was done, I walked out of the room going straight to the dinning room to have my breakfast
"You look happy today," Luna Raima said as soon as I walked in.
"It's a beautiful day aunt," I excitedly said wrapping my arms around her.
"Oh my, whatever happened to you last night must have been amazing to bring such happiness out if you," she said with a light laugh.
" Oh aunt," I lightly giggled sitting down while my eyes scanned for the familiar face but he was nowhere to be seen.
"He's probably still getting ready," Lyca spoke.
" Seeing you happy brings joy to my soul," aunt kissed my forehead then served me breakfast and I quickly ate it.
Once I was done,
"We should go to his room and check on him," Lyca suggested.
" What if he gets angry,"
"He's our mate we don't have to ask for permission to visit him!" She threw in the logic.
" True," I got up and went up the stairs straight to his room.
I stood by the door but before I could even knock, the door swung opened and my mouth hung wide open in shock when I saw a barely dressed and flustered looking Ashley walk out.
"What the----" I peaked into the room only to see him sitting there in nothing but his shorts and pressing his phone.
He glanced at me and without a word looked back at his phone completely ignoring my existence, again!
