Aurelia Another few days went by, and I was starting to lose my mind. I wasn't sure how much more of this place I could handle. The living conditions were unbearable, and the military-like training was grating on my nerves. I missed daylight and being able to go for walks. I missed my work and my old apartment. God, I just wanted to make my own decisions again, instead of being treated like a child. I was practically a prisoner here. Well, technically, even though they told us we weren't prisoners, we were since we weren't allowed to leave. It was almost as if they thought we were stupid and didn’t see how they treated us. I let out a long, frustrated sigh, rubbing my palms over my tired eyes. We were in our cots for the night since it was after curfew. There were no clocks anywhere
