A Secret Note
Aurelia I stood under the cold shower, quickly scrubbing my skin and hair as clean as I could get them. My teeth chattered from how cold the damn water was and my body trembled like a leaf. We only got to shower every three days since there were a lot of people living in this place and limited water. We also only had two minutes to wash, so we learned quickly to move our asses when we stepped under the ice-cold water. Luckily, shower time was the only time the guards didn't follow us into the room. They gave us a little privacy for it, which I was grateful for. Even though I was cold, my mind was elsewhere.
