I already regretted my decision to bring Aurelia with me. What the hell was I thinking, putting her at risk?
Aurelia already had me wrapped around her little finger and she didn’t even know it. I would do just about anything for her and this proved it. I just hoped I could protect her out there if it came to that.
I must admit, though. I didn’t decide to go after Hunter and Jaxson solely because of Aurelia. I was worried about them, too, especially after the weird episodes Aurelia kept having. If we survived this incident, we needed to ask someone about what she experienced. Maybe because she was an Omega, the bond was different or something. Omegas were so rare now that we didn't know much about them since the curse.
