I had drank enough now to forget my sorrows. When I looked around I could only see Seb, coming towards me with a look of concern in his face.
“We need to take Patty home now.” He gently took my arm and guided me off the dance floor.
Patty was stood leaning on the wall, looking a shade of green I rarely saw in her.
“G…Geo, tell S..S…Seb, I’m f -hiccup. fine.” Patty slurred at me, looking like she wanted to give me a hug by couldn’t get her legs to move.
A look of confusion crossed her face.
“Why are my legths ashweep?”
She tried to move and went to fall but was caught by Josh, who promptly propped her back up against the wall.
