As I struggled to read the intensity in Seb gaze the dawning realisation that he probably meant physically as I was still holding onto him.
Seb probably thought I was coming onto him, as I felt my cheeks flame as my mistake registered. Seb had never shown any more than polite interest in me. He wasn’t a player but the girls had dated had exactly been the type you would expect, smart beautiful well connected. Prefect wife material. Far from me, I was just his sisters best friend and he was a nice guy looking out for me.
Embarrassed at myself I cleared my throat. I hoped I hadn’t made things awkward between us.
