I got a text from Kevin that he was coming over with Keira to hang out and to help distract her.
I went out front to wait for them to arrive, mostly because I wanted to see Keira and make sure she is ok.
When their car pulled in, I was surprised to see it was actually Keira driving. I didn’t even know she had a driver’s license.
She and Kevin got out of the car and I went up to them.
“I didn’t know you drove?” I ask Keira.
“Yeah, not often but I can drive. We only have one car to share and Kevin needs it more than me and I don’t mind walking.” Keira says.
“How are you feeling today?” I ask her.
“I’m ok, just…” she trails off and looks down.
“It’s ok, I think my mom is baking something, you want to go in and see her?” I ask her.
“Yeah, sure.” She says.
We go into the house
