Keira, Kevin, my mom, and I got to the school administration building where we were told to report. We are just waiting on Keira’s mother to arrive so we can get this meeting we have all been called to start.
The door to the administrative building opens and in walks Janet, Keira’s mom with my dad.
“Dad, you are here too?” I ask him.
“Yeah son, I want to hear what’s going on and why they needed you here for this meeting. Plus, if we need to get the lawyers involved, I can do it quickly.” He says.
The secretary gets our attention and brings us into what looks like a conference room to sit.
“This must be serious if they use a conference room,” Kevin whispers to me.
“Yep, either we are in huge trouble coming, or they are trying to buy their way out of trouble is my guess,” I whisp
