Chapter Thirteen
Johnnie and Sean left Cornwall on Sunday morning, filled with a sense of anticipation. The two friends were quite aware of the dangers of their undertaking. Sean looked very excited and was all smiles, when they pulled over at a diner outside New York, whereas Johnnie did not share his enthusiasm. Restrained by nature, the young man was waiting for their meeting with Tom Murdock, the mastermind of the operation. Sean did everything in his power to convince him that this would be a rather easy job, but Johnnie remained skeptical, for a number of reasons.
