Chapter 18 - Meeting Faria

Krieldyr and Felxir are able to get back again to their dorm. And since they had nothing to do while waiting at the entrance, Krieldyr decided to tour the Central Domain first.

Felxir decided to stay at the dorm; he did not accompany Krieldyr because he said that he felt tired. Krieldyr understood what he is going through so he just let Felxir to rest. Krieldyr thinks that Felxir is acting like that because Eura left without letting him know.

Krieldyr saw a shop that was selling different kinds of chocolates. He remembered that he was going to court Icerielle so he bought the most expensive and famous product of the store. He thinks that Icerielle was just pretending that her family is poor and he thinks that Icerielle would also prefer expensive chocolates.

After Krieldyr shopped at the chocolate store, he went around again to see more of the place. He was shocked when he saw Eura's friend. He hadn't seen her for a long time and the woman didn't even know he existed. Krieldyr only sees that woman every time he visits his cousin.

"Hey! You looked familiar. Have we met before?" tanong ng babae.

"I don't think so? Maybe I just looked like someone you knew," Krieldyr answered carefully, trying to avoid suspicion.

"Oh? I am sorry. By the way, I am Faria. I am studying here at Ezklisea Academy. I really thought I have seen you somewhere else before," the woman replied.

The woman named Faria, stretched her arm forward to shake the hands of Krieldyr. Krieldyr hesitated to shake Faria’s hands because he thinks that Icerielle might see him shaking another woman's hand.

"I'm Krieldyr. I am also studying here at Ezklisea Academy and I am from the Fire Domain. It's nice to meet you, Faria," Krieldyr lied. Other Archeans should not know that he is their prince so he has to pretend that he is from another domain.

"Oh that's great! It is nice to meet you too!" Faria said.

Like Eura, Faria also has a unique beauty that is why Krieldyr noticed her back then. He admits that her aura also radiates even without Eura.

"See you around," Krieldyr smiled and quickly left Faria.

The woman smiled back at him. Krieldyr knew that Faria is a kind, because Eura does not have friends that are wicked inside. Eura knows how to choose a loyal and unenviable friend. Krieldyr also sees that Faria’s attitude towards him is also true.

Krieldyr wonders why Faria decided to study at Ezklisea Academy. There are also many Archeans in the Central Domain but only those who are good at fighting are allowed to study there.

He looked again at Faria, who was walking towards the women's dorm. He thinks that this woman is interesting and strong so he was a bit curious and he became interested in her.

"You came back earlier than I expected. What did you do?" asked Felxir as he saw Krieldyr went back quicker than he expected.

"I just bought some food for us to store. I also bought chocolates for Icerielle. Nothing much. That is why I was quick," Krieldyr replied.

"You seem to be in a good mood right now?" Felxir asked, curiously.

Krieldyr just smiled. He had to train himself to be able to adapt to what was going on between him and Icerielle, so that Icerielle would not notice that their relationship is not real. Krieldyr needed to do this although he is only forcing himself to continue his relationship with Icerielle.

“I am just training myself to always be in a good mood, in preparation of courting Icerielle. I know that it will take some before she will accept me as her boyfriend. It might take one semester or maybe a year,” Krieldyr replied. “I also saw Faria earlier when I went out. So Eura’s friend also studies here, did you know something about that?” Krieldyr added.

“Oh, really? I did not know that. I only knew the friends of Eura but I am not that obsessed with her to even stalk her friend’s background. All I know is that Faria is one of the best warriors in Arcanea. Faria is very popular in Archean University since our batch graduated there,” Felxir explained.

“Is that the training after our graduation in high school? So she could really stand out even if she is not friends with Eura. I find her very interesting. There is something different about that woman,” Krieldy said.

Felxir seemed to be surprised by what his friend said. He grinned and looked at Krieldyr. Felxir knows that Krieldyr is interested in someone when he acts like this.

“I see, so that is the reason you are in a good mood now. You saw Faria again. Geez, I know that kind of action of yours, Krieldyr. I am a man too and you are my friend, I know you so well. I have been noticing you for a long time that every time Faria is around and you see her, you would usually stare at her,” Felxir teased Krieldy.

“You have been noticing too many things, my friend. For me, there is nothing special about Faria. I just think she is beautiful because she looks kind of different to me and I am just a little curious about her because she was able to enter Ezklisea Academy,” Krieldyr explained.

“I think Faria will be good for you. I am sure that you will like her personality, especially when you see how she treats people nicely. But, ofcourse, you need to be very careful now since you will need to court Icerielle for our plan. You should not make Icerielle furious or else Faria might be caught in trouble too,” Felxir reminded Krieldyr.

Krieldyr shaked his head in disappointment. He never thought of having a lover, especially since he had not graduated yet. The first thing that he wanted to happen is for the two kingdoms to be at peace completely.

For Krieldyr, it is better for him to have peace first so that there will be no other problem to be concerned of, before the time that he chooses to love someone with all his heart.

“I still do not have any plan of being in a relationship with someone. We are still young for that kind of thing, we will have a lot of time for that when everything is fine. I need to focus now on getting Icerielle’s trust first. The kingdom is a lot more important than our feelings,” Krieldyr said.

“Anyway, you are right. That is why that is what I will do too. I will just let my feelings for Eura disappear on its own. I am also tired of hoping for her to give me the attention I want from her. It is right that we must focus on our goal for now,” Felxir agrees.

“Actually, we will be able to focus more if we do not think about that love. Let us just set aside our romantic feelings first. Love can wait and it will come on us at the right time,” Krieldyr said.

The two agreed that they need to set aside their feelings first for the women they like. For now, they need to watch over Megan and Icerielle. It will be hard for them if someone else gets the attention of the two girls. Felxir intends to make friends with Megan, although he knows that Megan has a high standard when it comes to people.

“Destiny seems to go our way. Who would have thought that you would be able to lure Icerielle that easily? I really thought that it will take us a long time before we get her trust. You really have an enchanting charisma among women,” Felxir said.

Krieldyt smiled. He said, “They wanted these. We are just repaying them in a good way.”
