Chapter 29 - Overhead

"You're really good at what you did, Krieldyr. Do you think you can erase memories about you?" marveled Felxir. "Do the same to me when Eura rejects me." Krieldyr just shook hands with his friend. Even though Felxir knows that Eura likes him, he still can't be complacent because she has no intention of admitting to him. "It depends on the situation. You have to wait until you graduate before deciding on that," Krieldyr said. "What if I don't make it to that day? We don't know what the vampires are thinking. It's not guaranteed that they will revive us at graduation," Felxir said. "Why do you seem to say goodbye in the morning? Just trust me, we will work out a way against their backsliding. We won't be harmed, that's a promise," Krieldyr assured. "It's not like that. Of course I'm just thinking about the worst that can happen. Just when I die early, tell me I love him," Felxir said. "Why aren't you the first to admit?" Krieldyr asked. "He thinks I'm joking. He doesn't take what I'm saying seriously so it's boring to admit and then he'll take the lead that I'm just joking with him and stop such things," Felxir explained. Eura bit her lip so hard. The two did not know that Eura had entered the beach house where the two were staying. The guards knew him so they let him in. The two were talking exactly about him so he didn't show up first. Eura wiped away the tears. He went back to the door to pretend he had just arrived. He also had to pretend he didn’t know Felxir was here. "Krieldyr!" Eura shouted. He made sure that his voice was lively so that he could not overhear the conversation between the two. Krieldyr immediately went to Eura's place. Eura forced a smile and even handed over the food she and Faria had cooked. He said he would only give his close to this resort. "You're still busy," Krieldyr said "Faria really cooked that. I just helped. I'm sure you'll like that," Eura said smiling. Eura tried to look around. He wonders why Felxir doesn't show up to him now. She thought it was more excited to see him. He suddenly remembered that he was the first to ignore Felxir. She was afraid she might not like it so she didn’t admit it. Krieldyr opened Eura's food basket. Eura just sat and watched her cousin eat. He noticed that it was left in the pouch and took out his own plate. He had a strong feeling that Krieldyr would give Felxir. "Where is Felxir? Why aren't you with him?" Eura asked. "I thought you were avoiding Felxir? Why are you looking for him now? All right, maybe someone else will be ahead of you," Krieldyr joked. "I don't know about you. Just always be careful what you do. You should come back here after graduation. I'll expect that. I'll wait for you, I'll wait for him. You'll take care of Felxir," Eura pleaded. Krieldyr seemed amazed at what his cousin had said. Felxir secretly listens to them because that is also Krieldyr's advice to prove that he really likes Eura. "So you admit he's really what you want?" Krieldyr asked jokingly. Eura scolded him. He said, "You're my cousin and we're like best friends so you know the answer to that question should be. Just be careful. You'll always remember that someone is waiting for you to come back safe and sound." "I'm laughing at you two. It's like you're hiding but you just feel the same way about each other," Krieldyr said. "By the way, Faria's cooking is delicious. I didn't expect her to be good at cooking. You should teach her." "Speaking of Faria, I'm sorry if I'm a little talkative. I won't do it again. But honestly, I really like Faria for you. When I found out that she met you and she liked you, she approved of me right away. I can be sure. "Faria is fine with you and you are also lucky with her. Many men like her but you are the only one I know she likes," Faria said. Krieldyr leaned back in his chair. He had never been interested in the woman before but he admitted that Faria was also the first woman he noticed besides his relatives. "Well, let's see in the future if I'll like her. So far I have no plans for such a thing. You know I'm focused on my task at Ezklisea Academy. I'm taking the princess's trust and that can't be jealous. "Faria's life is even more dangerous if she is close to me. As much as possible, I must first avoid the jealousy of the princess," said Krieldyr. It was only now that it sank into Eura's mind that what Krieldyr and Felxir talked about before was the princess they are targeting. He was a bit embarrassed because he assumed. That was his fault and he should have explained it to Felxir just in case. "It's good that you still have a plan to have a girlfriend in the future. I'm looking forward to that day," Eura joked. "You'll take care of Mom and Dad while I'm gone. When it's a long weekend or vacation, go home to the palace first. You know how nervous Mom is. I'll leave them to you while Felxir and I are away," he pleaded. by Krieldyr. Eura promised that was what she would do. Time is fast so they will not realize that they will soon graduate as well. Also, their lives are more dangerous because they are sure Krieldyr that the vampires have a bad plan to kill the Archeans before they graduate. "That's a promise as long as you also promise that you will come back to us and not endanger yourself with the enemy's plans. If I could only help you, I would have done it. I can only pray for you," he said sadly. Eura. "Don't worry, I'll take care of us and Felxir. I won't leave our fellow students at Ezklisea Academy either. I promise that," Krieldyr said.
