"What?" everyone exclaims, except Kevin.
"You heard me," I reply.
"I thought you guys were dating," Logan laughs.
Jake stays silent, and I elbow him. He looks at me and smiles.
"Remember when you saw me by his house last week?" I ask. Jake nods. "Well, our dad just told me I'm his daughter and wants to introduce me to his wife." I shiver at the thought.
"It can't be that bad, right? Aunt Arlene is the sweetest woman I know. Just ask my mom," Logan suggests.
