Chapter 29

Liv’s P.O.V

  I was doing well, so well. I was getting stronger, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally as well. When Adonis and I found Cali and I saw what Adam was doing to her everything that ever happened to me flashed through my mind. Everything was going so well and then Cali told us about Alpha Billy and Alpha Ozzy. As soon as she mentioned those names I felt the same terror I felt when I was living with them, but I managed to keep it hidden so that Adonis and everyone else wouldn’t sense it. I was a queen and a Luna, I had to be strong, that's what everyone expected of me, to be strong, so that's what I would be. I stood on stage and made my speech, introducing Cali as my new female Beta, then I met with the rest of the pack. I moved from person to person, talking to each of them and the whole time I smiled, but now I needed to be alone. I came to the one place I always found peace, that I could always sort out my thoughts, the balcony of our bedroom. It was so peaceful and beautiful out here and I could see for miles from the height I was at. I sensed as soon as Adonis came into the bedroom and I knew that he would find me out here, so I didn’t bother to call out to him.

  “Everything okay, Liv?” Adonis asked, sitting in the chair next to me and I nodded.

  “All my life I was either loved or hated. Alpha Billy hated me and so did Alpha Ozzy, so why do they want me back now? They beat me, they hurt me so bad I was bleeding and when that wasn’t enough it got worse. I’ll never know why my Alpha and Luna kept who I really was a secret and I’m okay with that, but now I have to deal with the bastards that are after me again and I know that if they get me back the torture will be even worse than before. . I would have to clean the whole pack house from top to bottom, every nook and cranny, but it was never good enough for them and after I had finished cleaning they would make me do it all over again. They would pull out all the dishes, pots and pans, then they would tell me that they were still dirty, so I had to wash them again. I had to scrub the floor by hand and after that I could finally go to sleep, but then Luna Ally would come into the kitchen, walk over the floor with dirt on her shoes and then she would kick me as hard as she could. She would constantly tell me that I was worthless, that no one would ever want me and I started to believe what she kept telling me. When I would finally make it to bed and was able to sleep, Alpha Billy would come into my room in his wolf form, waking me up so that he and his mate could take me out and hunt me. They would laugh at me and would have me so scared that I was shivering all over, that’s when I couldn’t take it anymore.” I said and Adonis took my hand in his, squeezing it and making me feel a little calmer as he comforted me.

  “I wanted to leave this world, I wanted to end this because I just couldn’t take anymore, so I made the decision to do it. When I was up on that roof I was at peace with what I was going to do. They wanted me gone and the more I lived the worse it got for me, that day was the worst day and it was the last straw for me. I took one last look at my hell and I jumped, but then again you already know that part. The one thing that you don’t know is that I did wake up once when you were carrying me. At first I thought that I was in heaven and then I was scared shitless because I felt like you were going to rip me apart and eat me for dinner. I also thought that you were going to drop me, but neither of those things happened and here I am. I am the queen of dragons, your mate and your Luna. I feel so safe here, like this was my true home before I ended up being my first pack. I am so tired of feeling helpless, of feeling abused and broken. I say let them come after me, what’s the worst they can do to me? They can’t do any worse to me than they already have.” I said, looking up at Adonis for the first time since he came out onto the balcony.

  Alpha Billy’s P.O.V

  It’s been a little over three weeks since I sent the trackers out to find and bring Liv back to me, but they still haven’t been back, which was what I had told them. I told them not to come back unless they found her, but my guess is that it will be up to me to find her and bring her back. A lot had happened since she had been gone and I would have to beat into her who she was going to have to respect when I bring her back here. For starters I chose a mate for myself as I hadn’t found my second chance mate, but then again I don’t think the Moon Goddess would give me one. I got it right this time and chose a mate that would want the same as I do and she was perfect for me. She never liked Liv and that she was a human, but when I told her about Liv now being a dragon her eyes lit up.

  “We could set a trap out in the woods and then we could get both of them. You did say that the one that called you was being a b***h, so why not take her as well. I could torture the b***h for being the way she was and I could break her, make her submit to me, then she could be my pet to sdo whatever it is I want to be done. You can have Liv and torture the b***h for running away in the first place. Obviously you will need to break her down again, make her believe that she is nothing because she is nothing. She’s a piece of shit.” Macie said and I smirked. I knew I liked this girl for some reason and now I knew it was because she was just like me. I don’t know why I didn’t pick her in the first place to be my mate instead of Ally. I picked up my phone and called the person I knew would definitely help me with whatever I needed.

  “Alpha Ozzy, I sent the trackers out to find her and bring her back, but they never came back. They probably got lost or killed, but I also told them not to come back if they didn’t have her.” I said and Alpha Ozzy started laughing.

  “Trackers never do their jobs right anyway. I’ll be there in a few hours and we will get a plan set up. If we could get them out in the woods then we could grab them and cover their scents, that way no one will ever know where they are. They would be looking for them for years and still never find them. I’ll take the feisty one, I’m sure she’ll be a lot of fun when I get done with her.” Alpha Ozzy replied and I laughed.

  See you then, Alpha Ozzy.2 I said, hanging up the phone and then turning to face Macie.

  “Alright, we have a plan set and Alpha Ozzy will be here in a few hours, so we will need to get things ready for his arrival.” I said and she quickly called for the Omega’s. They all quickly came running into the office, which made me smile because ever since I threatened to put them in the cells with the rogues they have done nothing but submit to me and clean whatever I wanted them to, plus from time to time I will even have a little fun with one of my choosing. When they arrived they bowed their heads and stood there waiting for my orders.

  “We’ll be getting a guest in a few hours and he will be staying for a few days, so I want this house and everything inside it clean enough that you could eat off the floor if we wanted to. I want one of you to cook and it had better be good, now go. Your p*****t will be in your rooms when you are done, if and only if you do a good job.” I said and they all quickly nodded then ran out of my office to begin their duties.

  Susie’s (omega) P.O.V

  The other Omega’s and I ran out of the office and while the others went to clean, tidy and do whatever needed doing before this mystery guest arrived, I went straight to the kitchen and got to work. I decided I would cook oysters, clams, shrimp and fish, so I rushed to the store and got a bushel of oysters, then I rushed back home. I sprayed them down and then let some of them heat up, but I also left some of them raw, just in case they liked them like that. I couldn’t help eating some myself and they were so good. I boiled the shrimp, clams and the fish, then I spiced up the fish and put some lemon on top of it. I did the same with the shrimp and then I let them cook, while I got the dining hall set up and cleaned. I placed the plates and silverware beside them, then I got the drinks and cups ready. I even got beer out just in case. I hurried back to the kitchen, but stopped in my tracks when I saw a man I had never seen before standing there. I assumed it was the guest that was arriving, but I couldn’t help noticing how handsome he was. Thank Goddess everything is done, but the man still just stood there looking at me. He stepped forward, blocking my path and then he pushed me against the wall and covered my mouth.

  “Listen to me and listen good, do not let these men capture the queen. They will torture her and hurt her so badly that she will never shift again. I ran from this pack and I tried to warn everyone, but they don’t know how I got inside, so don’t let them know. Here….” The man whispered and thrust a bottle of liquid into my hands.

  “When you make their plates, put this in their food. They won’t taste it, but once eaten the odour of their bodies will increase and no one will be able to smell it except the dragons.” The man whispered and closed my hand around the small bottle.

  “After all of this is over I will come back for you. I’ll be the Alpha of this pack and both you and I will make this pack better. I have to leave now, remember you didn’t see or speak to me, but I promise that I’ll be back.” The man said and I was more than a little shocked. He let go of me and I watched as he left through a hidden door I had never seen before. I opened my hand and looked at the small bottle that he had given me. I wanted the Alpha gone just as much as everyone else did, but was this little bottle of liquid really enough? What was inside it that only dragons could smell?
