Chapter 21 the witch

Kallie’s (the witch) P.O.V

I knew she was coming. I felt it and I watched through the eyes of the animals as she made her way here and they all scurried out of her way. I knew they were scared of her, not because of the noise she was making or how fast she was moving, no, it was because of her aura. She had a deep, dark, black aura around her and the animals could sense it, but I could see it through their eyes. I knew exactly what she wanted before she had even said the words to me, I had known ever since the first day I saw her all those years ago. I could have easily gotten myself out of that rope trap, but I wanted to see if she would help me first. I kept watching her through the eyes of my animals and with a wave of my hand and a little chant I made her tired, so that she would have to find the cave she was near and rest. I wasn’t ready for her yet, but tomorrow I will be and I know that she will be here by the afternoon.

“I needed to get everything set up because if she really wanted this then I’ll help her, but it won’t last long. He will see right through her and once he does she will be in some seriously deep s**t. He will sense something is wrong with her, she will smell different and act different, then he will start to know that it's not her and realise that he locked the wrong girl up. This is going to be so much fun to watch, especially as I am going to teach this girl a lesson since I will be the one who is going to walk into the castle and take her crown and throne.” I said to myself and my animals, smirking and rubbing my hands together. I closed the link between myself and the animals, so that I stopped watching her and could focus on what I needed to do. I started to mix the potion up, but the best I could do was to make it last a few weeks.

“She is going to have to work fast, but first she will need to gain both of their trust and then second she will have to get him to notice her once again just by being near him when his true mate leaves his side, then Cali will have to step forward and either touch of his hand or by bumping into him, make him notice her. She will have to get some of her hair and also scratch her to get some of her blood, but it might be best if she gets it on a tissue, then she can easily put it in the potion. She will need a piece of her hair and a piece of her clothing to wrap around the bottle as well, then all she has to do is shake it up and pour it into their drinks. Both Liv and Cali will drink it and then in a week he will start noticing her. He will think that Cali is Liv and that Liv is Cali, but he will still notice a difference and then he will start noticing odd little things about them. Either way I will get them both out of my way and then I will get the crown.” I said, talking to my faithful crow. I finished making the potion and put the stopper in it, then set it down on the counter. The potion was done and now all I had to do was wait for Cali to arrive tomorrow afternoon, I thought as I went to my bedroom.

Cali’s P.O.V

I knew that something was wrong when I all of a sudden opened my eyes and felt energised. I saw that I was still in the cave, but I felt like a weight had been lifted off me, although I had only closed my eyes for a few minutes. I made my way to the witch’s house and watched through the window, listening to everything that she said to her dumb bird. That b***h! Everything that she put in the potion and everything she said would surely turn Adonis against me and get me killed. I waited until I was sure that she was going to bed and then I snuck into her house. I grabbed the potion bottle off the counter and poured it on the floor. I thought her dumb bird would have alerted her to my presence by now, but when I looked she had put a cover over its cage, so it couldn’t see anything. I walked towards where she went and found a dagger on the table next to the door. She probably kept it here in case of intruders, I thought and laughed to myself at how stupid and ironic it was. I stood still by the door and listened for any signs of movement, but I heard nothing, so I slowly and carefully opened the door and went inside. She wasn’t in here, but then I heard the sound of running water. I looked at another door and realised that the witch was in the bathroom and the shower was running. I carefully snuck into the bathroom and saw that she was in the shower, so I knew that it was now or never as I had the element of surprise, seeing as she wasn’t expecting me. I jumped in the shower with Kallie and she nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw me.

“AHH!! WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU DOING HERE?!! YOU’RE MEANT TO BE ASLEEP!!!” Kallie screamed out, holding her arm up to protect herself.

“I KNEW IT, YOU DID IT!! YOU b***h!! YOU PUT A f*****g SPELL ON ME WHEN I WAS IN THAT f*****g CAVE!!!” I screamed back at her, as realisation hit me. I began to stab her in her arm and stomach, then Kallie dropped to her knees, holding her stomach and crying out in pain. I held the dagger up and brought it down hard and fast, stabbing her in the middle of her head. Kallie’s body began to shake and tremor, like she was having a seizure, but it was just because of where the dagger was in her brain. Blood started spurting out of all the holes I had caused when stabbing her and then Kallie fell face first in the shower. I turned the shower off and watched as Kallie carried on bleeding out, even though she was definitely dead.

“Huh, I don’t need your help because soon Liv will be dead as well. I can do everything myself.” I said, looking down at her lifeless corpse. I wasn’t about to let some b***h defeat me, not after all I have done to get this far. I will just stick to my original plan and wait a few more days before I challenge Liv, I thought to myself and then I caught sight of myself in the mirror. I was covered in blood and I smelled of death, so I needed to wash this off. I couldn’t use the shower because Kallie’s body was in there and it was covered in her blood, so it kinda defeated the purpose, so I went outside to the river at the back of her house. I ran and jumped into it, fully clothed and when I emerged I washed and scrubbed until I had got all the blood off me, but now I smelled of river water and death, instead of blood and death. I stripped out of my clothes, tying them to my ankle and then shifted. I hurried and took to the sky, flying all the way back home and landing in a field nearby the castle, but not too close that I would be seen. I got dressed, then made my way to the castle entrance and although I was going to look really suspicious walking into the castle like this, the smell was killing me so I ran as fast as I could all the way to my room. I tore off my clothes and jumped straight into the shower, washing the rest of the blood from my body and hair, then I just scrubbed and washed my skin until the smell was gone. I got out of the shower and dried off, but I could still smell the river, blood and death on me, so I jumped back in and took another shower. I showered a few times until the smell was completely gone and I felt clean again. I grabbed a robe and put it on, then walked out of the shower into my bedroom, but I had a guest in my room.

“So who did you kill to have to hurry into the shower the way you did?” Adam asked, looking me up and down as he licked his lips. He walked forward and pushed me up against the wall, pinning me there.

“Do you have everything set so we can take over this kingdom, love?” Adam asked as his hand moved to my robe and slowly opened it. I knew we were mates and I knew that I had my plan set, but I would need to kill both Liv and Adam, I thought as Adam leaned in closer and inhaled my scent. I badly wanted him and he badly wanted me, so when he picked me up my legs wrapped straight round his waist.

“I have everything under control and set, Adam. I will kill her and while we are fighting you will kill the king, but we need to separate them in order for this to work. It's the only way for this to work, if they aren’t together then they can be defeated.” I said, undoing his jeans and freeing his d**k from his boxers. He nodded his head as he shoved his d**k inside me and made me arch my back off the wall.

Adam’s P.O.V

I knew exactly what I was doing because once I had killed Adonis and became king I was going to kill her and then change the ruling of the kingdom. Cali and I were so alike, but two people that are so much alike can never be mates because they would end up killing each other. The Moon Goddess and all the other creators up in the sky always like to have balance, they always pair and match mates based on how opposite they are to balance them and the universe out, but I think they made a mistake with Cali and I. soon enough they would learn of their mistake as I would kill Cali, I thought as I thrust in and out of her. I started going harder and faster until eventually I came deep inside of her and then pulled out of her. I let her go and fell back on the bed, not even the slightest out of breath.

“Come on, I want to hear what this master plan you have is to win your crown. How are you going to do it?” I asked, but she just smirked at me.

“I plan on making my way back to him, by making him think that I will be a much better and stronger queen than what Liv is. I will make sure that she will be shown up as the fool she is and I will be there as an added bonus to help her look like a fool. I will challenge her for the title of queen and then I will make her think that she can beat me, but when she is least expecting it I will beat her down and snatch her hair right out of her head. While I am doing that you kill the king. Do you think you can do that, Adam?” Cali asked and I started to laugh. This b***h was seriously trying to make me feel jealous over her, when truth be told I couldn’t stand her.

“Yes, I think I can do that.” I replied and kissed her hard, making sure it was full of passion, knowing that she was going to get her ass beat down tomorrow. She thinks she can fight, but I haven’t seen her do any form of training for almost three years now, so how in the hell is she going to challenge Liv to a fight for the crown and expect to win? I rolled my eyes as I turned over onto my side and thought about everything we were going to do, everything that we wanted to do and everything that had happened. I wanted to be the king's Beta originally, but I was turned down and my cousin was chosen and made Beta, even though I knew more than my cousin did. How could he choose my cousin over me? What did he have that I didn’t? I thought to myself and then turned back over to look at Cali.

“I need to leave this room before anyone sees us together, if they see us then the plan will be ruined.” I said and she quickly nodded in agreement. I got dressed and she walked me to the door, then kissed me goodbye.

Cali’s P.O.V

I locked the door after Adam left and then just stood there for a while thinking things over. I knew that Adam was going to kill me the second he becomes king, but I had no idea how to turn this around. Adonis makes an awesome king and before Adam came around I was deeply in love with him, but then I smelled Adam’s scent and I knew right away that he was my mate. We weren’t like normal mates in any sense of the word, we never flew around together like we should have because we wanted to keep it a secret. We made plans together and once we made the plans I knew right away that Adam means to kill me once he is king, but I wasn’t going to be dying any time soon. My plan will be set tomorrow and once I see them together I will engage them in conversation, gaining their trust. I will find out her hopes and dreams, then I will use them against her and BOOM, it will all be set.
