{Alpha Brandon} That chick Dara who is always hanging out with Georgia brought my food up. She gave me some very exciting news. Georgia will be attending my dinner and wanted to know what she should wear. I told her to let Georgia know that she was free to wear whatever she was comfortable with wearing. She asked me why I was inviting her best friend to dinner to get to know her and I said I know I have crossed paths with pretty much every one of my pack members but I haven't ever crossed paths with her. I am curious about her and would like to sit down with her and get to know her and I figured a dinner would be a nice way to show I care about getting to know my pack members. Dara raised her brow, "Alpha Brandon, I mean no disrespect but are you sure you are just wanting to get to know Georgia? You aren't just doing this to get her into bed, are you? Georgia is pure and she doesn't need someone tricking her and taking something she values more than anything from her." "Dara I assure you I am not going to do anything of that nature at this dinner. I honestly just want to sit down and get to know Georgia. I know my reputation isn't the best but I am not like that. There is something to my reputation that no one knows. I just want to officially meet her and get to know her. " She said fine and said she would let Georgia know. She also told me that Georgia hates when guys stare at her body. I looked at her and said I didn't understand. "Alpha Brandon, Georgia is aware that she has a hot body but one thing that bothers her is when she is stared at like she is a piece of meat waiting to be torn apart by a hungry wolf. She has more self-respect than anyone I have ever met and she is a very bright and intelligent young woman. She doesn't like to be treated like some dumb she-wolf who throws themselves at anything that shows them attention. So when you sit down to dinner with her talk to her as if you are talking to another packs Luna or female Beta. show her that kind of respect please." I smiled at her. "I understand what you are saying, Dara. Thank you." She turned and walked out after she bowed. I sat down and ate. I smiled at the thought of Georgia actually coming to eat with me here in my suite. I looked around my suite and decided to get the maid service in here and do a deep clean and make this room look more like an Alpha's room instead of a single guy's room. I want to make a good impression on her and I know one way to do that would be to get all of my books out of my office and put them back on the books shelves in my suite. Another one of my little secrets that no one knows is I used to love reading before bed. I've read tons of books, like Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby, Anna Karenina, and Great Expectations. Reading was one thing I got from my mother according to Jonas. He said most of the books that are in the pack library she read within her first year here. Thinking about my mother made me think about that woman Thea. I need to talk to Jonas and see what he thinks I could do to get this pack back in order before he retires. I know he would still give me advice even after retiring but I want his opinion as my Beta. Maybe I could also go around and ask some of the pack members what they think I should change. I want to make both of my parents proud of the Alpha they brought into this world. My mother didn't even get an hour with me after my birth before she was taken from me so I really want to show her how great her son can be. I am 25 years old and I need to start acting like it. I also need to get my Beta and Gamma in line if not they will be replaced best friends or not. After dinner, I went and sat on my balcony and just stared out into the land. My family left me this beautiful land and I cannot wait to share it with my mate whoever she may be. I sat outside for a while it was after 1 a.m. before I went inside and got in bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light. When I woke up I looked at the time and saw I had slept in today. I had 4 missed calls on my cell and I just ignored them. I knew if it was that important someone would have come and woke me up. I got up and went to my balcony doors, I looked out and saw it was pouring down rain and it dawned on me as to why I was being called. I forgot I was leading training this morning. Josiah and Tilden were calling to see what to do since it was raining. I opened up my living room window so I could listen to the rain and I went and jumped in the shower. When I got out, there was food sitting on the table for lunch and I thanked the moon goddess that the kitchen assumed I was eating in my room because I really didn't feel like going down to eat. For some reason, I just wanted to be lazy today. I sat down at the table and ate then I laid down on my couch and turned the TV on and watched a few movies and took a nap.
