Since finding out Brandon is my mate, I have noticed a difference in his attitude. Even though it has been from a distance, He isn't the cocky Alpha I have seen in the past few years. Getting to know him and being around him has definitely changed my opinion on his mentality. I used to think he was this conceited jerk Alpha who cared more about getting laid and partying than his pack but I see a different person since we've been getting to know each other. I see he is trying to change the damage that has been done and I do believe he can become a great Alpha if he continues cleaning up the pack. I've been thinking about how is he with me when we are alone and I think I may even like him. I don't want to accept the bond just yet because I am still not sure about becoming Luna of this pack but I know I need to give Brandon an answer soon. I am hoping to hear back from Thea on the rest of the girls who have claimed to have been with him. Dara is at the bookstore and today is my day off. I need to get some cleaning done and go get some groceries but I plan on stopping in and checking on her before I go shopping and on my way home. I don't want Dara thinking she is being babysat, but I agreed with Brandon that she didn't need to be alone right now. After I finished cleaning, I headed out to the pack grocery store and on the way I stopped in to see Dara. I asked how the store was doing today and she said it was a slow day but she was OK with that. I told her I was going to get some food and restock on paper towels, cleaners and detergent. I asked if she needed anything and she asked if I could get her some of her favorite candies. I told her I would and I headed out. While on my way I looked up at Brandon's balcony out of habit and he was standing there smiling down at me. I smiled back, shook my head and kept walking. Here lately it's getting harder not to smile back at him. I'm sure he sat up there and watched me most days before we actually spoke to each other just like i'm sure he was watching me through the bookstore window when i'd see him out there. After I got what I could carry from the store, the bagger said he would deliver the rest within the next hour. I headed back to the bookstore, handed Dara a box of candy and told her I would put the rest on her bed. I made sure she was Ok and then I headed home. As I walked up to my door, I noticed there was a card taped to the door and a bouquet of flowers laying in front of the door. I sat my bags down and grabbed the card and opened it.

I've been sitting here trying to figure out a way to ask you this without it sounding stupid but no matter how many different ways I write it, it still sounds stupid to me. So I am just going to go ahead and ask. Would you be willing to escort me to dinner this coming friday? I just wanted to do something nice and take you out. If not, I understand. I don't want to push you into doing anything you don't want to do.

I smiled while looking down at the card. He is being such a gentleman and I appreciate him not pushing me into anything. I think I am going to say yes to escorting him to dinner. Going to dinner is the least I can do since he is being so patient with me. I unlocked my door and picked up my bags and the flowers and went inside. I put the flowers in a vase and put the stuff I bought away. I sat down on the couch and decided to mind-link Brandon.
[Hi, Brandon.]
[Hello beautiful] He replies.
[So, I got home and found a bouquet of flowers and an invite to dinner this Friday.]
[Yes, you did. Have you thought about it?] He asked.
[I have and I have an answer if you want me to tell you?]
[Of course, I want you to tell me. I've been going crazy waiting for you to tell me.] He says excitedly.
[I would love to go to dinner with you Friday, Brandon. Thank you for the flowers. They are beautiful.]
[You're welcome but they aren't as beautiful as you. I will pick you up at 6:30 Friday.] He says.
[I'll be waiting.]
I cut off the mind-link and closed my eyes. I smiled at the thought of us going out on an actual date. Thinking about our date didn't last long. I was startled by a knock at the door. I got up and looked out the peep hole to see Thea standing there. I opened the door door for her and she came in.
"Hey Georgia, sorry I didn't come sooner with the information you needed. I had some business to tend to." She says.
"It's ok. I hope you got what you needed to do taken care of."
"I did. I want you to know that while talking to the rest of the girls, I was able to find out that they also were given consent to tell whatever story they wanted to tell. None of them actually slept with Brandon." She tells me.
"Are you sure they aren't lying?"
"I am psoitive they are telling the truth. It's just as He said. He told them they could say whatever they wanted. Some of them were mad they didn't get to sleep with him but I know they were all honest with me." She says.
"Well, I guess it's time to make a decision then, now that I know he was telling the truth and hasn't slept with any of those she-wolves."
"Please think everything through and then base your decision off of what your heart and mind tell you." She says.
"I will Thea. Thank you for helping me and getting the information for me."
"You're welcome Georgia. I hope everything works out for both of you." She says as he walks out the door.
Now that I know, what do I do? Do I say yes and just give in or do I hold on a little longer and see how he treats me?
