I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. I know she still needs time to think things over but just being able to talk to her and be close to her makes waiting easier. I got dressed and went into my office to do some work and go over the new projects we have coming up. I didn't think it would take long but when I looked at the time, It was nearly lunchtime. I mind-linked the kitchen and told them I would be in my office and to bring my lunch here. I went back to work and was pulled from my papers when there was a knock at the door. Dara walked in with my tray and she sat it on the coffee table.
"Your lunch Alpha." she said with a bow.
"Dara, call me Brandon when it's just the 2 of us please." I said as I stood from my desk.
"Sir, Only family and friends are allowed to call you by your name."
"Dara, I would like to think that we are friends. I mean we talk all the time now and I specifically requested you to bring my food to me." I said with a smile.
"Oh. I didn't know you and I were friends Alpha. Sorry I mean Brandon. It's going to take me a minute to get used to calling you by your name."
"It's ok. I understand Dara." I said and laughed as I sat down.
"Is there anything else you need Brandon?"
"No there isn't Dara. Oh, how is Georgia?"
"She is fine. She is at work right now if you have time to go down I'm sure she would love to see you." She says as she is walking toward the door.
When she turned around to bow she was smirking. I raised my brow at her and she bowed and left. I ate my lunch and finished my paperwork. When I finished my work, I decided to go down to the bookstore and see how Georgia's day was going. I walked in and the few people who were looking at books froze. I smiled and nodded my head to them and they bowed as I walked by. I walked up to the counter where Georgia was with her back towards me. She turned around and almost dropped the books in her hands. I smiled at her and she stared at me for a moment.
"Uh, you ok Georgia?"
"Huh? Yes sorry, I'm fine Brandon. Just surprised to see you in the bookstore. What are you doing here?"
"Well, I wanted to come see how your day was going."
"Oh. it's going ok. Gamma Tilden stopped by but I'm sure you already know that." She said as she was putting tags on the books on the counter.
"I didn't know that. Why did he come by?"
"Oh. He came to apologize for how he has been acting towards me and what happened with the book the other day. I guess you putting him on probation has made him realize he has been in the wrong." She said to me without even looking up.
"Well, I am glad he apologized to you. No one in this pack should be treated that way regardless of their rank. Well, I can see you are busy so I won't keep you any longer Ms. Mist. Hope the rest of your shift goes well. See you later."
When I left the bookstore I went to my room and opened my laptop and watched the footage from the bookstore today. I was horrified when I heard Dara accidentally tell Georgia about her walking in on me jerking off and calling out her name as I came. I don't get embarrassed easily but I felt my cheek warming up and I knew they were turning red. I paused the video. How the hell was I going to explain that to her? I can't just say Oh yeah I've been watching you every day and picture you while I jerk myself. I sighed thinking about how I was going to explain myself. Maybe that's why she wouldn't look up. Maybe she was disgusted or maybe she was embarrassed herself. I played the video again and heard what else Dara said to her and I busted out laughing. She called my d*ck a waffle cone. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Dara is a trip that's for sure. When the video was finished, I mind-linked Tilden to come to my room. When he opened the door, I told him to sit down.
"Tilden, I just want to say I am pleased to hear you went on your own and apologized to Georgia and Dara for your awful behavior. I know the main reason you did it was because I put you on probation but I know it took a lot for you to do that. Keep up this behavior and I will end your probation. Hopefully, Josiah follows your lead and does the same." I said to him as I sat down in my chair.
"Brandon, I am sorry for ever making you doubt me as your Gamma man. I know I was out of line and I don't know what has come over me but I promise you I will be a better Gamma than I have been."
" I know you will Tilden. I know you aren't that bad man. I grew up with you. You were always the more level-headed one out of the 3 of us. You were always the one trying to keep Josiah and I out of trouble but in the past few years it's like we switched roles. I am the Alpha and you are like a brother to me. I want you as my Gamma man but the way you and Josiah were treating pack members was unacceptable."
"Brandon, I needed the wake-up call man. Thank you for waking me up and making me realize I was turning into someone I am not. I can't guarantee that I won't sleep around but I promise to start showing pack members more respect and not use my rank to be d*ck to them."
"I know you wouldn't be able to go without s*x man and I wouldn't ask you to do that but try to show the she-wolves you are doing the deed with some respect. That's all I ask on that subject."
"I'll do my best man. Thank you again for the wake call." He said as he stood to leave my room.
After he left. I got an idea to mess with Dara. I mind-linked kingsleigh and told her I wanted dessert tonight and I wanted vanilla ice cream and waffle cones sent up after dinner and I wanted Dara to deliver them as well. Once I got that out of the way I went out for a run. After my run, I went back to the packhouse and saw it was almost time for dinner. I went to my room, jumped in the shower, and then got dressed and waited on Dara to bring my food up. When she came into the room I had to hold back my laughter. She sat my tray down and excused herself. I ate and wondered if Georgia was cooking tonight. A few minutes after I finished my dinner Dara returned with another tray.
"Your dessert Brandon." She said completely clueless to my joke.
"Dara, why don't you sit for a minute and enjoy a waffle cone and some vanilla ice cream?" I emphasized the word cream.
"Oh. no Brandon I am still work…. Oh my god, Georgia told you what I said didn't she? I'm going to kill her." She said after she realized what I meant.
"She didn't tell me anything. I heard you on the bookstore camera footage." I said as I was laughing and trying not to fall out of my chair.
Dara froze and I could see she was freaking out.
"Dara, relax. It's ok. I found that to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard."
"You said you heard it on the footage from the bookstore?"
"Yes. Georgia told me about Gamma Tilden apologizing and I wanted to see for myself."
"Oh god. I am so sorry Brandon. I didn't mean to open my mouth please don't be angry with me. Please don't take me off delivering duties. I like bringing your food up."
"Relax, Dara. I heard and I know you didn't mean to say anything. I am not mad at you. I actually blushed when I heard you tell her. Well now that you know my little secret, I think I can come clean with you since we are friends. The rumors are false. I told those she-wolves they could tell everyone whatever they wanted. The truth is I am a virgin. I've never even gotten head from anyone. Georgia is the only she-wolf from this pack or any other pack for that matter that I have ever fantasized about while jerking. I started picturing her not long ago so it's not like some crazy obsessed stalker thing that's gone on for years. I've always jerked to werepo*n but no one I've ever met. It is true that Georgia and I are mates but I respect her wishes to give her time to think. One thing I noticed she forgot to mention while she was telling you everything was that her wolf came forward and kissed me." I said with a smirk.
"Wow. Um. Who would have ever thought I would be sitting here listening to my Alpha tell me he is a virgin and talk about jerking off to me? Skye kissed you? How did Georgia react to that?"
"She b*tched her wolf out and apologized to me. Her wolf told me that Georgia wanted me but was too afraid to go for it."
"Well, I couldn't ever tell her to her face but I've noticed her glancing your way and being in a daze when your name gets brought up." I smiled when she said this.
"Well, maybe you can talk to her and throw in how nice I am. It might help her decision." I said and she smirked at me.
"I'll talk to her and see where her head is tomorrow. I have to get back to the kitchen and clean so I can go home."
After Dara left, I laid back on my bed and smiled. Becoming friends with Dara has been a good thing. Not only because she is friends with Georgia but I haven't laughed this much in a while. She is a funny she-wolf and I like how she treats me as a normal person and not just her Alpha.
