It's been a day since I outed myself about being the wolf in the field. It was nice of Brandon to offer to train me and I am actually thinking about it. I may have a mouth on me when it comes to people running theirs to me but I really don't know how to defend myself if I was to ever get into an actual fight. It's 7 a.m. and I heading out the door to go to work. I know Dara is going to want to know why I didn't show up yesterday. Knowing her she probably thinks that Brandon got me in bed with his good looks and I was too exhausted to go to work. I laughed at the thought and her because she would actually think like that. She is always telling me I need to get laid. When I got to the bookstore, Dara was already working on putting books up and I walked in. She stopped what she was doing and looked at me.
"Don't even ask what I think you are going to ask. No. I wasn't too tired from hours on end of lovemaking with the Alpha to come in yesterday." I said to her before she could ask.
"Well, why didn't you come in then?" She asked with her eyebrow raised.
"I was given the day off because of some things that happened during our dinner."
"Ok, I'm listening. You know good and well I will need the details." she says and I just shake my head at her.
"Fine. I will tell you what happened." I said and explained what happened with Josiah and Tilden first.
"Oh and the other thing that happened. Well, it looks like I found my mate." I said as I walked behind the counter.
"Found your mate? Oh, my goddess who is it? Please tell me it isn't the b*tch Beta or the asshat Gamma."
"Um. No. Ew. I would light myself on fire if I was to be mated to either one of those asshats."
"Ok. Well, who is he?" She said as she held my shoulders not letting me move.
"Brandon." I said in almost a whisper.
"Did you just say, Brandon? Alpha Brandon? Our Alpha? The yummy Alpha I have had the pleasure to see every day now and have caught jerking himself and saying my best friend's name as he shot his load?" She said and then covered her mouth.
I raised my brow and stared at her for a moment waiting to see if she said anything but she didn't
"Dara, did you just say you caught him pleasuring himself and calling out my name as he finished?" I asked but she didn't respond.
"Dara! Tell me. Did you just say that?" I asked and she removed her hand from her mouth.
"Oh my goddess please don't tell him I told you that. I promised him I wouldn't tell anyone. Yes. I caught him the other day. I forgot to knock and I walked right in as he was shooting his load and your name was coming out of his mouth. Please don't tell him I told you. I don't want to get fired from delivering his food to him. I like not being in the kitchen so much." She begged.
I have known Dara pretty much my whole life and one thing I know is she hates begging. I told her I wouldn't say anything to him and I explained that it was our Alpha I was talking about being my mate. She got excited and I told her to calm down.
"Georgia, why haven't you accepted him?" She asked with her brow raised.
"Dara, you know how I felt about him over the last 6 years. I don't know if I can trust him even though he told me none of it was true."
"What? He told you none of the rumors were true?" She asked as the door opened.
I turned away from her to see who was coming in the door and I wanted to roll my eyes when I saw Gamma Tilden.
"How can I help you Gamma?" I asked to avoid any issues.
"Um. I came by because I wanted to say something to you. Well, say something to both of you." He said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"The both of us?" I asked confused as Dara walked up to the counter next to me.
"Yeah. Look I'm sorry about the other day when Beta Josiah and I came in here. I honestly had no idea he was going to slap you. I was being a jerk by knocking the books down and I am sorry for acting like that. Georgia, I am also sorry for what happened in the kitchen between us. I didn't think some words between us and books being knocked down would make you go talk to the Alpha."
"Gamma Tilden, I didn't go meet with the Alpha to tattle on you and Beta Josiah. I was invited to eat dinner with him and he brought up the kitchen thing and I thought he meant the bookstore and well, he watched the camera footage from the bookstore and saw what happened. Yes you running your mouth to me made me want to tell him but I didn't. I mean the Beta makes me want to rat him out more since he has done more to me but I hadn't thought of a way to tell the Alpha yet."
" So you didn't actually tell on me?" He asked and I could see him relax a little.
"No, gamma I did not rat you out. I thank you for apologizing to us for your behavior the other day and for the way you spoke to me in the kitchen. I will make sure Alpha Brandon knows you apologized. I know him putting you 2 on probation and postponing your title transfers was a big kick to the balls but I honestly think it was needed. Gamma I've watched you over the years as I grew up and I know you aren't really like Beta Josiah. You are a good guy but you got lost in the past 4 years. Try to find yourself again and don't let the Beta drag you down with him. I know you probably think I am degrading the Beta but I am not. He used to be a good guy as well but whatever caused him to change, it has destroyed him and I don't think he can come back from it." I said being completely honest with him.
"Georgia, I think you are right. I've noticed a difference in Josiah and to be completely honest, I am afraid of what he may do one day."
We talked for a few minutes and the Gamma apologized again to both of us and he left. Dara stood there with her eyes wide and her mouth wide open. I pushed on her chin to close her mouth and laughed. After she got over the shock she was in, we talked more about Brandon and what he admitted to me at dinner.
"Girl, accept his yummy god-like ass asap!"
"Why Dara? Because he is an Alpha? I'm not sure I am good enough to become a Luna." I replied to her.
"Accept him so you can be the only one to wrap your mouth around his waffle cone and lick the yummy cream he makes."
"WHAT?" I was not sure if I should bust out laughing or be horrified at what she called it.
"Georgia, he is very blessed, girl. You need his blessing in your life! Trust me one round with him and you'll fall in love instantly."
"You sound as if you've gone a round with him. Girl, you are so perverted. You called his d*ck a his waffle cone." I said as I busted out laughing.
I told her I was thinking about it and he was being respectful and giving me the time I needed. I also told her we were going to be friends for now and she smiled at me and shook her head.
