It has been hours since we found out that Lelo was missing and I was becoming restless as time passed by. I can’t just sit here and do nothing about it while he’s probably in danger out there.
“Any news?” I asked Duke again after he received a call from one of the guards.
“Nothing,” He said. “They lost track of him and where he was headed. It looks like he covered his tracks so we won’t be able to follow him. I don’t think he wants us to know where he’s going.
“No, no, no,” I said. “This can’t be happening! He could die out there!”
“There’s nothing we can do about it,” He said. “He chose to leave on his own. We can’t do anything about that. It’s his choice.”
