Leerion quietly watched Travis leave the room and came back with a woman in his arms. They quickly made out and did not mind the people around them, their actions turning wild. But Leerion saw through the woman’s actions what she was planning to do and immediately took action. As his secretary and loyal friend, he is obliged to keep him away from any issues.

Leerion’s forehead creased, lips pursed into a thin line before he impatiently drugged the drunkard Travis out of the room, leaving the woman all alone while they vanished from everyone’s sight. His nose wrinkled and knuckles turned white while looking at Travis who was plopped at the back of his car, wasted.

“Drinking hard and even trying to f**k someone in that state, someone will surely take advantage of you.” He whispered into the air before he shut the car door and sat on the driver's seat. From the mirror, he could see Travis sleeping soundly like a child itching his face before going back to sleep.

Leerion fished his phone from his pocket and texted Rupert about what happened and asked him to hold the woman captive while he dealt with the drunkard at the back of his car.

The drive from the bar to Travis’s mansion. The man lived all alone inside his mansion that he received from his grandfather after he graduated and wished to live by himself. He thought everyone in his family was too busy with their own lives, and it was unnecessary that he still stayed at home when he got no one to be with except the maids.

Leerion knew Travis more than anyone, he knew his fears and strength, and that is why the urge to dominate him lingers deep within him, no matter how hard he tries the lurking demons inside him ache to see Travis begging him.

His pupils dilated as he clenched his fist and massaged his temples with his thumb, Leerion is an orphan who lived his life fending for himself. He was not poor but he still chose to work under Travis. His family left him a hefty wealth before they died and he neither felt lonely or sad about it. Leerion had never felt like he needed a family, it will only become his weakness.

After Leerion settles Travis to his bed, he watched him snore for a few minutes, his eyes darkened and he could bet that his throat had gone dry. He thought it was both lucky and unlucky that Travis is a free soul, and it also sucks that he always chases women whenever he likes.

Glancing at his wristwatch, Leerion cleared his throat and suppressed his feelings before he turned to leave. The longer he stayed with Travis, the harder it would be to control himself.

He had been living a life of solitude and then he met Travis, he was like a ray of light in his monochromatic world. So bright that he longed to keep him to himself and monopolize him.

Travis was oblivious of how warm he makes people feel that Leerion had to protect him from people who covet him. Just like that woman, she purposely went to Travis and tried to seduce him, he could see that she was deliberately leading him on.

Before they entered the room, Leerion already saw her talking to one of the men who was looking at Travis while they stayed at the bar counter, then she walked towards Travis and lured him to her. Leerion had long known how women work. They will pretend not to know the man and then trap them into marriage with the pretense of getting pregnant after a one-night stand.

He knew that Travis is not gullible, but he could not bear letting someone fool Travis while he was around.

Days passed since Leerion brought Travis home wasted, it was already the day where they will meet the whole squad with the girls. It will also be the first time in 8 years that they will see Augustine again.

The first person to arrive was Rupert since he owned the bar, while the couple, Jordi and Hiraeth arrived late amongst everyone. They were all looking forward to seeing each other and talking about what happened to them, especially to Allana and Augustine who went missing in action. The last thing that they heard about Augustine was when he went back to marry Allana through a surprise arranged marriage but Allana ran away to marry Ji Xuan.
