Blinking my eyes slowly, I soon we were on some type of elevator, making me thoroughly confused as I turned my head. My eyes were met with Alden as he held me up by the waist and peered down at me with a lopsided grin.

"How did we get in here?" I asked, realizing that wine must've hit me harder than I thought.

"You walked here. You don't remember the fish and everything?" He asked me with a whimsical look on his face.

"Fish?" I grumbled, my head still swirling.

"You must've been too intoxicated..you tried to steal one from Cinead's pond down in the lobby." He said with a wry smile on his face. "You called them chubby little fishers or something."

Embarrassment filled me as I slapped my hands over my face, I was completely mortified. I don't remember anything about fish..

Just then the elevator doors opened and we were now facing a large sitting room with a fireplace. A plush orange rug was placed in the middle of the floor with brown leather couches and a coffee table between them.

I heard laughter in the other room as I glanced over and there stood Kamaris frowning as Cinead was laughing and hollering about something.

My heart stopped at the sight of Kamamris.

His long toned body seemed to tower above Cinead as his long black hair hung behind him perfectly..his leather armor from earlier was gone and now he wore a black silk shirt and leather pants.

My stomach filled with butterflies as I took a step forward, making his eyes snap to mine as Alden stepped aside, letting me walk ahead.

Suddenly I heard Cinead coughing in the other room, as if he had been listening.

"Do you like it?" I asked, bracing myself for the worst.

He nodded his head, not saying anything else as he looked back down at it. Insecurity started to fill me..maybe he doesn't like it..

"If you don't, you don't have to wear it, I know it's silly." I said going to reach for it but he tugged his arm away and held it to his chest instead.

"No, I love it... it's just, nobody has ever gotten anything for me before..not like this." He confessed, surprising me as he leaned forward, kissing me deeply.

I closed my eyes, feeling his lips graze against mine as happiness filled me. He liked it, what a relief.

Kamaris pulled back, looking at it once more.

"I thought it looked just like the bind, don't you think so? And the blue stones..they are just like the earrings." I said softly as he gazed at my bind once more.

Looked at the resemblance as he touched the bracelet gently. I reached out, my hand brushing his hair behind his shoulder as I spoke.

"Thank you..for letting me go today..I had never done anything like that before. It was a lot of fun." I admitted, smiling softly as he gazed at me.

"Even though I missed you, I hope next time we can go together." I added hastily, his eyes warming as he leaned into me once more.

Kamaris's lips found mine as he spoke against me gently. "I don't know what I did in this life to deserve you...but I will never let you go again. "

He added before pulling me into his arms as he lifted his hand into the air, gazing up at the bracelet lovingly. I guess he does like it..what a relief.
