Chapter 48-I Belong To You

I tumbled forward as two strong hands locked onto my waist, stopping me from falling flat on my face.

"It's okay Amira, everything is going to be okay." Cinead rushed out as I realized we were now in some type of library.

"Dante..and..and Alden..they." I gasped before placing my hand over my mouth, feeling like I might be sick.

"Kamaris has built up an immunity to Gideon's powers..it doesn't affect him like the others so he will be able to handle him. Dante might take some time to recover but Alden will be able to help." He explained, making me feel slightly better..so at least they wouldn't die..

I let out a rush of air as Stella suddenly walked up to me, holding a glass of water.

"Here darling, drink this." She whispered before handing me the cup.

I took it with trembling hands, taking a few sips. Stella eventually pulled the glass back and held it while Cinead grasped my arm and led me over to a leather couch.

Then I began to remember everything that just happened..what Gideon had said and how Kamaris got so angry..was that the truth? Was he going to trade me for her?

"Kamaris..he was going to trade me.." I breathed..knowing exactly what that meant..that I would die from the bind that Kamaris had given me.

I knew he mentioned it before, but I always thought they were empty threats..and what happened between us, it was almost like a distraction, making me forget all that he had done and the reason why I was even here.

When did he truly change his mind? Was it the moment after we got here? So he was going to go through with it up until that point...he was going to marry Theia?

I placed my hands over my face as I tried so hard not to cry but was failing miserably.

"Amira..Kamaris has changed..you have changed him..yes he might've had some type of plan from the start..but I can tell you from the depths of my heart..Kamaris has never looked at a woman the way he looks at you..he.." Cinead said and was quickly interrupted by a loud bang.

"Amira, fuck..are you okay?" Kamaris appeared in the room with a flurry of shadows as I slowly lowered my hands.

I watched in shock as he ran over and sank to his knees in front of me.

His hands reached up and cupped my face, tilting my head back and forcing me to meet his worried gaze.

"Why are you crying? Did you get hurt?!" He asked hastily, before scanning up and down my body as I shook my head no.

"Then what? What's wrong my love..tell me." He breathed. My eyes widened in shock at what he just called me as he inched closer to my face.

"Kamaris..were you..were you really going to marry her?" I questioned sadly, making him quickly pull me against his chest before letting out a sharp breath.

"No..of course not Amira..it was just a way to get her there..but none of that matters..she doesn't matter. I was so hell-bent on revenge that it consumed me..but then you came...you changed everything, Amira. I swear to you..the moment we left Dolus I knew my choice..it was you..it was always you." He explained shakily before pulling me back and crashing his lips to mine.

My eyes widened as I saw black liquid trickling down his cheeks from his eyes..was he..was he crying?!

I kissed him back just as passionately, his words seeping into my soul as I held onto him desperately..not wanting to let him go.

We sat there for a few moments, just holding one another as I soon realized Cinead and Stella had left.

Then the air shifted...Kamaris began kissing down my neck and shoulders as I began to pant. My body felt like it was engulfed in flames as his touch made me come alive.

"I need you, Amira.." Kamaris breathed, his voice sounding strained as this side of him made my heart ache...I could feel the need..the longing he had for me and I felt it too..I needed him just as badly.

Our mouths connected once again as that familiar magic washed over me, leaving me bare and naked above him as he wasted no time before positioning me right above his c**k.

"I love you Amira..with every breath that fills my lungs..with every beat that moves my heart..it's all for you...I am yours.." And with that he slammed into me, making me gasp for air as my head flew back, giving Kamaris perfect access to my neck and chest. I felt light like I was floating on air as he devoured me completely..his mouth greedily sliding up and down my flesh as he tasted and licked me hungrily.

I let go of everything, giving myself completely to the lord of darkness as I knew deep down that I was his as much as he was mine..something deep inside of me knew this..something in my soul sang the words out loud as I felt him sliding in and out of me possessively claiming and dominating me completely...knowing the truth of it.

"Kamaris..I..I love you too." I managed to choke out as he slammed into me one last time before I completely shattered above him, this orgasm much stronger than the others as something incredible happened between us..it was as if a part of him seeped deep down inside of me..leaving its imprint as I accepted it fully. Welcoming his moans and grunts as he too released inside of me.

Then we collapsed to the floor, his arms circling around me as I tried to come back to reality...this had to be my version of heaven..and I never wanted to leave it..I never wanted to leave him.

"Say it again..please." Kamaris whispered against my brow before kissing me gently.

"I love you Kamaris..my dark lord." I breathed making Kamaris flutter his eyes shut as I lifted my hand to wipe those black tears as he tried to steady his breathing.

"I never thought I would hear those words..and to know you are the one that said them.." He confessed, making me break down too as I gripped onto him tighter.

"Kamaris promise me...no more secrets, please..if you would've told me.." I began and he nodded his head before bending down and kissing me.

"I promise.."

"What happened to everyone?" I asked quietly after sitting a few moments in silence.

"Alden is with Dante in the healing ward and Gideon..I had him returned to Dolus to send a message." He stated firmly while stroking my hair gently.

"What message?" I asked in confusion while peeking up at him.

"That you are mine of course. If Terik still wants you..then there will be hell to pay.." He stated, the words making my stomach ache as I furrowed my brow..

Why can't Terik be happy with Theia? He did so much just to get her back..why me? Even if I share Theia’s soul..I am not her...and I never will be.

"Come, let's go to bed..I'm not done with you yet my love..I want you many many more times.." Kamaris growled before biting me on the side of the neck as I burst out in giggles..

Even with everything that just happened..this has to be the best day of my life because he said it..Kamaris said that he loved me too..and for some reason, something inside of me felt like it had been waiting for those beautiful words since the beginning of time..
