Chapter 47-The Dinner Part 2

I looked up at Kamaris as his eyes swirled with black, making his shadows appear around him in a flurry.

"Do I need to remind you what happens when you speak out or turn big brother?" Kamaris's voice rumbled from deep within his chest.

The domineering tone made Gideon flinch as the woman next to him lowered her head immediately.

But for me..that voice had the opposite effect..that voice vibrated straight through me and rattled me to my core, making my panties drenched immediately.

Watching Kamaris exude so much power and authority..it was the sexiest thing I have ever seen..and for once I wasn't at the other end of it..even if I was, I'm pretty sure it would have the same effect.

Suddenly I felt Kamaris's hand slide across my thigh possessively as I fought the urge to moan..yeah..Kamaris has turned me into a horny little beast.

I gazed up at him in awe as he glared towards Gideon who seemed to shut right up.

That's when a booming laugh sounded throughout the room, making my eyes dart towards Cinead as he lifted his wine glass and darted his gaze between us.

"Relax Dark Lord, we are all here to have some fun..so let's drink and bask in the presence of these beautiful women while the night is still young.." He added with a bright smile..those crimson eyes flickering brightly.

That's when Stella raised her glass and joined in.

"We are quite beautiful, aren't we Amira?" She asked with a wink before drinking all the liquid in her cup.

I quite liked Cinead's mirror soul..she was not only beautiful but every move she made was mesmerizing I swear..I think any woman would be intimidated by her presence.

As embarrassing as it is to admit..I even checked to see if Kamaris was looking at her, but every time I went to check..he was looking at me.

I felt his hand slide deeper between my thighs before pulling me closer to his side as Gideon's gaze burned into me..it was hard not to react, considering what happened earlier and how he came into my room..that still surprises me.

I just don't understand why..I always felt a little uneasy around him..but now that I know he has wanted me from the start, I feel surprised...

Suddenly Kamaris bent down before kissing the side of my neck as the doors opened when dozens of people carrying trays began to walk inside.

The smell of the food was enough to make me smile as I watched the servers slide over to the table.

"Why am I getting jealous of the way you are looking at the food?" Kamaris whispered playfully, making me laugh as I turned to look up at him.

"You were the one who wanted me to eat more, so you dug yourself into that hole."

I quipped back, making him chuckle deeply before bending and biting the side of my neck softly.

That's when a loud bang sounded, causing me to jump as my head snapped to the side to see what all the commotion was.

I let out a gasp, realizing that Alden and Dante were now pinning Gideon up against the wall, restraining him.

"Amira, I can't just sit here and pretend like nothing is going on, you have no f*****g idea what he has planned for you!" Gideon yelled through the room, making confusion fill me as Kamaris shot up before stepping in front of me.

"I suggest you keep quiet Gideon." Kamaris yelled furiously, his anger making my eyes widen as it went beyond anything I had seen yet...which was shocking.

What is going on? What is Gideon talking about?

"Did he tell you his plan Amira? How he has already made a deal with Terik!" He yelled, causing my heart to drop..no, that can't be true..he said he wasn't going to give me up..he said he changed his mind.

My eyes darted to Kamaris as his body stiffened in front of me as I began to spiral into my own self doubt..he..he wasn't even looking at me this time.

Then I glanced toward the woman Gideon came with, watching in shock as she just sat at the table, drinking her wine and ignoring the scene before her completely like nothing out of the ordinary was going on.

Alden had his light pulsing out of his palm, seeming to use it to help hold Gideon back as he struggled to break free..and that's when Kamaris stepped forward while his hands transformed into claws right before my very eyes.

Stella rushed by my side, her arm slipping around my waist as she helped me stand hurriedly, making us both stumble back while Cinead ran in front of us protectively.

"Stay behind me, this could get ugly." He muttered while I tried to peer around his broad shoulders.

"Say another word and I will make it so you will never speak again." Kamaris spat at Gideon, his dark magic seeping out of him and filling up the room slowly.

Gideon laughed maniacally, looking at Kamaris as he spoke, not taking his threat seriously at all.

"Terik is at Dolus right now Amira...Theia is willing to give herself to him and perform the joining ceremony by morning as they agreed..Amira, he was planning to kill you no matter what." Gideon said harshly, looking at Kamaris as his own eyes were now darkening.

My stomach dropped as bile reached the back of my throat..this can't be true..Terik was in Dolus already?

I looked at Kamaris and I felt my heart shatter.

"It's a lie Amira, don't listen to him! I never signed the agreement..I never planned to go through with it!" Kamaris yelled as his shadows reached for me desperately. I closed my eyes, feeling confused as Stella held onto me tightly.

"Can you really trust him after all that he did? If you come with me, I can save you Amira, I know how to break the bind. You can live with me, we can be happy." Gideon's words were filled with desperation as he began to turn hysterical and that's when I heard another struggle. "I love you Amira, the moment I saw you, I knew, I knew you were brought here for me. You were made just for me."

Stella gasped, and that's when I knew Kamaris had enough. A rush of magic pulsed through the air, threatening to knock us down but Cinead created some type of fire shield to protect us as Kamaris shadows wrapped around my legs and ankles, keeping me sturdy in place.

Covering my eyes with my hand, trying to peer through the hot flames. I saw Kamaris hovering above Gideon as he gripped his throat with his claws, squeezing tightly.

"Kamaris, remember the rules!" Cinead seemed to remind him as Kamaris leaned forward, getting right into Gideon's face.

"You will never have her, no one will ever have her but me." Kamaris hissed, as his long black silky hair whipped behind him.

"Amira is mine and I don't give a f**k about Theia..Terik can keep her. But If you ever so much as look at her again, I will kill you Gideon..I will bring you to Everan myself and watch as the gods judge you..." He said with pure rage, Gideon grasped at his throat, trying to free himself as his own magic began to seep out, making Kamaris glance towards us.

"Get her out now!!" He yelled at Cinead, making a fury of fire engulf us as the last thing I saw was Dante dropping to the ground as Alden yelled out in agony, making my eyes widen in pure terror.

"Kamaris!!" I yelled in a panic, but it was too late..we were already gone..
