Chapter 46-The Dinner Part 1

(Kamaris) My heavy gaze drifted up and down Amira's curvy frame, the dress I chose for her made her eyes pop as the soft teal gown flowed to the floor. The silk fabric matched my shirt perfectly..I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her waist..my eyes meeting hers in the reflection of the mirror before I bent down, kissing her neck. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen..and I have seen many in my 1026 years of life..no one compared to her..no..nothing in this lifetime compares to her beauty. "Remember, don't say a single thing to Gideon..and please, no wine tonight." I stated firmly, watching as she nodded her head up and down before turning in my arms and hugging me. The action took me by surprise..making my stomach flip as I closed my eyes and inhaled her sweet scent deeply. I can't deny that since we had s*x, all my emotions have fully returned..even when I'm away from her. It's like Amira has broken my curse or something..even Cinead was baffled..and then..then he brought up something that made my heart ache. He wondered if she could somehow be my mirror soul..but every Sybil I have gone to saw there was no such thing..wouldn't they have seen her? Wouldn't she leave some type of crack or groove in my soul to show she existed? I pushed the thought from my mind immediately.. There is one other way to find out if she is..but it's dangerous if she isn't the one. We could enter the dream realm and peer through our souls that way, but if we don't match..she could get lost, forever searching for her true mirror soul until they come to find her. I can't risk that.. Especially considering her soul isn't fully formed. It takes about a year for an Athuney to achieve their full strength and get their Magic. "Ready dear?" I asked while bending forward, my mouth brushing against her throat as my lips tingled from her touch. Every single inch of me accepts her..shadows and all..I didn't want to make a big deal about what happened earlier..but the fact that my shadows came out and did that..it was astonishing. Arubos isn't known for being gentle..in fact, he usually brings the toughest of men to their knees, begging for mercy, which he seems to love. He is death and darkness incarnate..it is said that the God of death created him with his own hands, like a son if you will before bringing him into Alysian to rule. Reminding all those that there is an end to everything..even Athuney and the immortal can face death. So to see he has a soft side..I was surprised. But of course, Amira would bring it out of him..the whispers he says into her ear at night..if he wasn't a part of me I might feel f*****g jealous. But for her to accept him is accepting me and vice versa. "I'm ready now." Amira smiled up at me before kissing me one last time. I wrapped my arm around her as I walked us toward the door, flicking my wrist and watching as it slowly open. Tonight might get ugly..Gideon has crossed the f*****g line and I have heard rumors that he is trying to find an enchanter to break the bind. They are the ones who helped bring Theia back at the tree..some are peaceful and follow the rules of Alysian and others..they thrive on Black Magic. So why he came to see her makes me suspicious, but nothing has been done to her, so perhaps he just wanted to look. It wouldn't be the first time..he made it a bad habit of watching her back in the cells..Amira doesn't know that..but Alden walked in on him whispering things to her as she slept..the mere thought infuriated me. I glanced up, seeing Alden and Dante standing outside of the door as a hint of a smile pulled on Alden's lips. "Good evening." Amira returned the smile as that jealousy spiked up again..this time it wasn't just mine. I watched as my shadows circled her waist, gripping her tighter and pulling her closer to my side. Yeah..Arubos might be a problem..one word about Amira from Gideon and I know he won't put up with it. But I needed to make my message very clear..and Gideon needed to hear it before he ran back to Dolus where Terik was currently waiting..the blood oath was not signed and his patience grew thinner by the day..well he will get his final answer today. I am keeping Amira.. We stepped into the more formal dining room when a thick tension seemed to fill the space. Cinead was sitting at the head of the table with his Mirror Soul right by his side, Stella. They had found one another fifty years ago. She was the perfect match for the prick..I swear they truly are made for one another.. If Amira thought Cinead was flirtatious..just wait until she meets Stella.. Stella had fire red hair and was very curvy..of course she wore a sheer dress, which hid absolutely nothing...at least she was wearing f*****g underwear tonight. There have been more than one occasion where both Cinead and Stella have tried to get me in their bed..no thank you. "She lives!" Cinead laughed, causing me to clench my jaw as I looked towards the other end of the hall where Gideon and his mirror soul, Jayla now sat. She had her usual grey dress and dull brown hair up in a bun..why she put up with Gideon beats me and the fact that she was here was surprising. She usually resided in Eirwen, the mountain region where both her and Dalia's guard, Donovan, had come from. Gideon's eyes were burning into Amira before they darted between us erratically, prompting him to quickly stand. I noticed his gaze trailing down her body, noting every bruise and bite mark I left on her as I tried to hide the smirk I so badly wanted to give him. "Amira..are you okay?" He rushed out as his mirror soul just looked across the table before lifting her wine and drinking it. I can't even imagine the things he has done to her to make her look so f*****g lifeless.. From what I have heard in Dolus with the woman who dare to offer themselves to him, he likes to torture them before he uses them..just like his f*****g mom I guess. Amira stiffened as I gripped her waist possessively, making her glance up at me as I tried to remind her of what I said. I could see this was hard for her..just because she is too f*****g nice. I dragged her towards Cinead and Stella, making sure we were as far away from Gideonas possible. "You look breathtaking Amira, doesn't she darling?" Cinead asked Stella as she looked Amira up and down seductively. For f***s sake..can't we be in the presence of one f*****g person who doesn't want her? I quickly sat her down and took the space between her and Stella, not wanting them to get any ideas..knowing those two, they would probably try to sneak her some wine and make things even worse. I gave Cinead a pointed look as he nodded slightly, that's when I knew he was doing most of this for show to make Gideon more comfortable.. "You have the most beautiful eyes, they're practically mesmerizing." Stella complemented as Amira blushed, making me stare down at her as I couldn't help but bend down close to her ear. "If you start doing that..I won't be able to keep my hands off of you." I whispered loud enough for Gideon to hear..and then I leaned over, kissing Amira on the lips as Gideon slammed his hands on the table, making me unable to fight the smirk this time. "Amira..you can't seriously believe a single word he has told you..do you?" I think it's time to remind Gideon who he is speaking so rudely about..
