Chapter 59-Missing Her

1391 Words
(Kamaris) What could Amira be doing right now..she definitely seemed excited to go out..but was she too excited? I mean..I haven't exactly taken her out much..we just haven't had time. Besides, I thought she was just happy staying in bed with me..all day.. She seemed happy enough..especially when I licked that special spot that drove her crazy..those little sounds she makes and the way her back arches.. "Kamaris..are you even listening to me?" Cinead's voice intruded my thoughts, making me flick my gaze towards him as he leaned back against the table with the smuggest expression on his face. "I thought we already covered everything?" I mumbled, feeling my chest growing tighter by the minute..I didn't like her being this far away..even Arubos was feeling it..my shadows boiling just beneath the surface as I felt my stomach twist. "Fine, jeez..and I thought I was bad when I first met Stella..and Amira isn't even your mirror soul." He laughed, the words he said making me stiffen as I looked away for a second. I could feel his eyes burning into me, those crimson flames burning brightly as the biggest smile spread across his face. "You are starting to believe she might be aren't you." He suddenly stated, earning a bored glance from me as he suddenly rushed over and sat beside me. "When? At what point did you start to feel it?" He asked excitedly as I let out a sigh before brushing my long hair back, trying to keep calm about this.. I didn't want to f*****g say anything until we saw the sybil..I just don't want to get my hopes up..but could she be my missing piece? "I always felt something..even when I visited her in the dream world. A sense of familiarity but I just chalked it up to her being Theia’s reincarnation." I confessed, making Cinead nod thoughtfully. "But for her to break the curse..she has to be more..unless she has some type of Aeron magic we haven't seen yet." Cinead thought out loud. "Do you still believe she might be a part of Theia’s soul?" I asked him curiously, already knowing my answer. "Truthfully..since the moment I laid eyes on the girl I could tell she wasn't..her presence was different than any Athuney I have ever met." "Okay, no need to go that far." I grumbled, annoyed with Cinead speaking about Amira like that. "Not in that sense my friend..well..I mean, not completely..but I could sense a familiarity too..not like you but like she was a good friend already." He went on to explain as I nodded once. "She definitely has a way with people..even Alden began to open up to her..you know how things have been for him." I noted, knowing Alden was a very hard person to gain their trust and friendship. He had been burned before so he never fully revealed himself very often. "I notice that as well." Cinead walked over to his desk and began pouring himself a drink. "Well, if she is your mirror soul..what does it mean exactly? Why did your soul not show any signs?" He asked and I just laid my head back before staring up at the ceiling. It all seemed too good to be true..could Amira have been made for me? Could she be my other half for eternity? It sure feels like it..she stirs something deep inside of me..something that I never knew existed. She has brought me back to life and I want to spend the rest of my days worshipping and loving that woman like no one ever has. "Mabel should know more..." I grumbled, knowing the Sybil that my father trusted the most would probably see right through me. She has helped to guide my father and even saw what was meant to happen to my father but he didn't believe her..she didn't know exactly how or when he would meet his end..but she knew something was coming. "You are a braver man than me..she gives me the creeps..the way those white eyes stare into you..prodding your soul." Suddenly I noticed Cincead shudder as I smiled and shook my head. Yeah, Cinead might be one of the bravest guys on the battlefield, but he also gets scared so f*****g easily..he is a very superstitious guy. "So..what do you think they are doing?" I asked awkwardly..not wanting to show my insecurity with Amira being gone. "Honestly, Stella is probably making Amira try on as many clothes as she can and they most likely are drunk by now." He joked, making me sit up straighter as my eyes widened. "Wait..you don't seriously think Stella would do that, would she? I told her no alcohol." I snapped, making Cinead clear his throat before shaking his head no. "Oh, of course not..it was just a joke, my friend. Of course Stella wouldn't do that.." He rushed out while laughing nervously. "That's it..I'm going to get her." I said while standing abruptly as Cinead reached out for me. "Kamaris..come on, just let the girl have some fun..I'm sure everything is okay...and you know Alden would reach out to you if there were any issues." He added..but that didn't make it any better.. I began picturing drunk Amira hanging all over Alden as he tried to keep her away from Stella's roaming hands. Fuck..this is bad. "Nope..I'm going." I quipped and suddenly Cinead f*****g lunged for me, tackling me to the floor as I looked up at him in bewilderment. "What the hell is your problem!?" I asked, as he was now sitting on top of me. "I'm sorry Kamaris but it's literally only been forty f*****g minutes..you need to give that girl a chance to have some fun!" He exclaimed while trying to hold me down..I pushed my hand out, making Cinead fly halfway across the room as I watched him hit the ground..I might've used a little too much power on that one..I blame the shadows. "What the hell is this about? Is there something I need to know Cinead?" I snapped, watching as he slowly stood before rubbing his ass. "I just think she deserves this.. that's all..When we were out there..before you almost killed me..Terik mentioned something that I overheard." "What?" I gritted through my teeth. "First..calm the f**k down..it's nothing to get your panties in a twist.." He stated as I stood and balled my hands into fists, trying not to punch him in the face, again. "Just spit it out please before I snap." Cinead sighed while walking to his desk and pouring himself another drink. "He just mentioned something about her suffering enough abuse..and he wasn't talking about just in Alysian..do you know much about her human life?" He stated, making my stomach turn. "No, she hasn't spoken about it.." I admitted..never thinking to even ask..I guess I just focused more on the now..I don't even know if she had family..I mean..she had to, right? I remembered she mentioned something in the dream world but her memories weren't all there at the time. "Well, maybe it's something worth finding out. Apparently Terik had been watching her for a very long time..and maybe he saw some things." Cinead stated carefully and the mere thought of another man watching my Amira..it made me furious. Suddenly my shadows lashed out, smashing the furniture in front of me as I began to pant heavily. "Damn, I knew I should've told you that outside...that was an antique!" Cinead yelled while frowning at me. "I am going to kill him Cinead..he doesn't even deserve to look at Amira.." I hissed. If Terik even cared for Amira at all as he says..he wouldn't have brought her to this place..he wouldn't have let Theia take over her body..but I guess I have to be somewhat thankful because it brought her to me.. Knowing the last part was the truth..would I have ever been able to find her on my own? I would like to think I would..I would have had to...she is mine. But the fact that Terik did bring her here..it won't be enough to save him for what I have planned for him..and if he seriously thinks he will get Amira..he is delusional. "Fine..I will give it another hour..then I am going to get her.." I grumbled, feeling grumpy as f**k now..I just want my Amira back..
