Chapter 20: Outsmart

The blindfold was slipped over my eyes and I was taken by the arm. Derek's strong grip snapped me out of my fearful daze. I struggled against his grasp and pulled hard to get my arm free. This was quite difficult, considering I couldn't see anything. Despite this, I twisted and screamed, kicking blindly in front of me. My leg made contact with something and I heard Derek grunt. Taking this opportunity, I pulled harder and got my arm free from his grasp. Before I even took off my blindfold, I started to run.  As soon as I was able to, I ripped the blindfold off my eyes and kept running.
