*Eddie's POV*
My mate was gorgeous. That much was obvious.
I felt a strong attraction towards her and simply wanted to be near her side at all times.
But I kept my distance. After all we were still strangers. I didn't know what she wanted or what she was comfortable with.
However I told myself I'd spare as much time as possible to be near her despite the sadness I felt for several years.
The hunters, we didn't leave unconscious. That's what we told Everly and Lucy, courtesy of Noah's idea.
Noah suggested it might scare them away and that frightened me. After all, we didn't know how many of us really despised hunters enough to kill them.
I knew I did.
My anger for uncle Colin's death stuck with me ever since I was eight. He was my second father.
I wanted revenge. I wanted to get rid of the hunters killing my kind. Especially if they posed a threat to my family and the Werewolf Committee.
For now I'd remain calm. But once we got to the big shot hunters that's when I planned on giving it my all.
My only hope is that Tate doesn't find out and try to drag me back to the Werewolf Committee.
I wasn't planning on leaving the Werewolf Commission until I was satisfied with the vengeance my uncle deserved.
Caught up in my thoughts, I didn't notice the body that placed itself near mine.
Noah peered at the lake we decided to settle by, and he threw a pebble into the water.
"You look very unhappy," Noah noted with a small smile and I let out a grimace.
"I've got a lot on my mind," I shrugged and Noah gave me a sad smile.
"Don't we all?" Noah said softly and I raised an eyebrow in question.
His look was just as dull as mine and it seemed quite unlike him. Noah was the optimistic and the intelligence of the group.
"You don't see it yet, do you?" Noah said in the same dull voice.
"See what?" I asked him, giving him a side glance. My eyes then found my mate from across the river and remained on her figure. She sat by the lake also, chatting with Lucy.
"The pain," Noah suddenly said.
"-the anger, the hurt in everyone's eyes," he continued and I slowly glanced away from Everly, to look at Noah.
"-can't you see it? The way the boys eyes glowed as they looked at the hunters? The sadness in the girls eyes while we walked here in silence? The way Chris doesn't even utter a word?" Noah continued to explain and I frowned at his words.
"We've all lost someone to hunters. They've killed or hurt our families. Someone we loved. That's what this group really is," Noah suddenly muttered.
"You're right," I said in a quiet voice.
"We all want the same thing," I added.
The hunters dead. I thought silently.
Noah suddenly gave me a sad smile. He gave me a look that said he understood how I felt. The pain of losing someone.
"I see it in your eyes too Eddie."
I didn't reply. I simply glanced back at my mate. Feeling a small sense of peace.

*Elina's POV*
The middle aged man licked the pad of his index finger, before using it to flick through a couple of the pages. The book in his hands looked ancient and I peered at in in curiosity.
Tate also seemed to be in a state of curiosity as he nodded his head towards the book.
"What does it say?" he asked and the middle aged man blew out a breath.
"This has happened once before according to history," the man explained.
"You are the water Elemental correct?" the man asked as he looked up from the book to peer at me.
I glanced up at Tate for a second before looking back at the man.
"Yes," I nodded.
The man suddenly snapped the book shut, making me jump a little. However Tate remained as still as stone.
"You," he said looking at Tate, "-Are you an elemental?"
Tate shook his head 'no' and the man furrowed his eyebrows in thought.
"Is anyone within your bloodline an elemental?" he asked once more and this time Tate nodded.
"Yes. The air Elemental," Tate briefly said, not jumping into detail.
The man suddenly smiled to himself. Seeming as if he solved the missing piece to the puzzle.
"You see," he began, "-The power of an elemental travels through bloodlines. When one dies, it passes onto someone of the same intention and personality, yes, but that person must be within the bloodline of the original Elemental."
I opened my mouth to speak however the man loosened his scarf and gave me a pointed look.
"For example you, my Luna. Whether it was a close cousin or distant relative, as long as they carried the same blood as you, that is how the power of water was passed on to you," the man continued as he stared at me.
I didn't know what to say. I simply kept my mouth shut and listened to the man in complete silence.
That means Ryan was related to Lily?
And I guess Colin and Eddie make sense.
"How has this got anything to do with our baby?" Tate asked in a voice of stone and the man directed his gaze to Tate.
"The main elements are Earth, Water, Fire and Air. However occasionally," the man paused as he cleared his throat, "-or rarely do certain elements within two bloodlines clash and create another."
"How has this got anything to do with our baby?" Tate repeated the same words in a slightly irritated voice.
"You're not an Elemental," the man said looking at Tate, "-however, my Alpha, you say the element of air runs within your bloodline. You are also a Werewolf which is a gene like the ability of an Elemental, which is passed on. It is possible that the essence of the element could be passed onto this child." he gestured towards my round belly.
Tate still looked beyond confused and my face mirrored his confused one.
"Our child cannot be the Air or Water elemental. The current ones are still alive," Tate said referring to Eddie and I with a frown.
After all, there can only be one of each Elemental.
"That is correct," the man said slowly, as if speaking to a child making Tate clench his jaw, "-but what I'm trying to say is, is that what has happened here is a clash. A clash of elements."
"A clash of Water and Air elements."
"This leads to a fifth Elemental."
"The Spirit Elemental."
"Your child."
