*Elina's POV*
-
I sat on Tate and I's bed with a pillow tucked under my chin, and my knees were pulled up to my chest as I let a huff.
I then threw the pillow on the floor and crawled forward before turning on my back and slumping down on the bed.
I was beyond bored. Tate refused me too 'waste' my energy or the babies. He kept me in bed to 'rest' at all costs.
It was driving me crazy.
I closed my eyes and softly hummed to myself. However after a second, I heard the door knob of the bedroom turn, making me pop open one eye.
Seeing Tate walk in I blew out a breath of relief and smiled in excitement.
"Tate! I've been bored out of my mind- Where the hell-" I suddenly paused as I saw a middle aged man follow in tow.
I quickly sat up and put my hands over my belly, frowning.
Who the hell was he?
Tate came to the edge of the bed and placed a hand softly on my cheek.
"He has answers. He knows a lot about Elementals."
He even bought the man to the bedroom so I wouldn't have to move.
I didn't know whether to be flattered or annoyed.
However I looked up at his dark eyes and couldn't help but lean into his touch. I then adverted my gaze to the man who opened up a satchel wrapped around his neck.
He wore a long grey raincoat. He also wore square glasses as he loosened the red tie around his neck.
I cleared my throat and he glanced over at me, giving me a respectful bow.
"I'm Elina," I said slowly and the man gave me a kind smile.
"I know exactly who you are my Luna," the man said and I climbed off the bed to stand beside Tate.
Tate gave the man an impatient look and pulled me closer beside him.
"Skip the formalities," Tate said, glancing at me with a gentle smile before looking at the man with a firm look, "-speak."

*Everly's POV*
-
After stepping out from behind the wide tree trunk, I quickly dodged a flying arrow as I ducked down. The hunters were running towards us at an incredible speed, and a few of the guys growled in warning, their eyes glowing.
Once the hunters were in close distance, everyone glanced at each other.
"I'll have that one with the twins," Conner growled at the hunter named Garry who had threatened him with a knife earlier.
Noah then glanced at the two boys closest to him; Charlie and Chris.
"The three of us will take that one," Noah said, nodding his head towards one of the hunters who didn't speak a word.
Then it was Eddies turn to round his group. His eyes immediately went to Dan and Chace who gave him a nod, not needing for Eddie to say it out loud.
"And we'll have Mike," Eddie said steadily watching the most skilled hunter of the group.
"Go!"
And not even a second later the boys began to attack and tried to make their ways to the hunters, having to dodge the weapons of silver.
I frowned as I stood in my spot. I recalled four hunters. The guys didn't seem to see the man hiding behind a tree close by, loading up a long hunting gun.
I felt someone nudge my shoulder and I glanced at Lucy.
"Since they so kindly forgot about us," she said with a grin, "-I think we'll have him," she finished looking at the same hunter I was looking at previously.
Not frowning or hesitating, I simply smiled.
"Let's go."
I nodded towards one side of the tree and Lucy gave me a quick thumbs up. She quietly moved away from the fight happening, to sneak up on the hunter with the gun from the left, meanwhile I traveled from the right.
The hunters vision was focused on the rivalry between the many males and failed to notice Lucy and I's upcoming presence.
I stayed quiet, yet took quickened steps as I now stood behind him.
As he began to aim towards one of the werewolves, Lucy appeared in front of him and grabbed the long end of the gun, yanking it forward.
She tucked it under her arm as the man let out a shot on instinct and thankfully the bullet flew into plain air.
Before he could regain posture of the gun, I took a leap into the air and kicked my foot into the air, making it slam into his back.
At the same time his grip on the gun loosened and Lucy pulled it completely out of his grip and in a swift motion twirled it to face him as she aimed it down at his figure on the ground.
The hunter grunted at the fast movements and before he could get up I bent down to slam a fist into his face.
"I hate hunters," I harshly whispered.
The man squinted his eyes and one of his hands reached for my hair and yanked it making me yelp.
"And I hate werewolves," he whispered back as he used the grip on my hair to bring my ear to his mouth.
He suddenly let go of my hair as he let out an agonized scream, the noise drowning between the yells and shouts of the others.
Lucy had ripped his grip on my hair away and stomped on his arm, her feet squashing it into the soil.
Once I stumbled away from him, he used his free hand to grab out a mini arrow tucked into his waist as he stabbed it into Lucy's ankle that was close to his face, squashing his wrist.
Lucy hissed at the burning of the silver attached to it.
I looked at the man in alarm and without glancing away, grabbed the gun from Lucy's grip and spun it to face the end. I lifted it upwards and slammed it into his face in panic.
I watched as the man let out a loud grunt as his head hit the soil and stayed there.
I looked at him with wide eyes and dropped the gun as I stumbled further away.
"Holy s**t, holy s**t, holy s**t, Lucy holy s**t," I panicked with wide eyes.
Lucy gritted her teeth and pulled out the arrow from her ankle and watched it heal slower than usual due to the silver.
"Everly, calm down," Lucy said calmly.
Her eyes then trailed to the unconscious hunter and her eyes also widened.
"Holy s**t you just took out a hunter!" She exclaimed and looked at him in shock.
She then glanced at me and stayed silent for a few moments.
She then bursted out in laughter.
"That...that was awesome," she said in between laughs and I nervously laughed with her.
In the midst of our laughing, all the boys suddenly appeared, panting.
"There was another one?" Charlie said in confusion and my eyes snapped to Eddies.
His eyes were wide as they examined my whole body in alert.
"Yep," Lucy said popping the p as she smiled widely, dusting her hands.
"We figured we'd pick a hunter for the two of us. Since the rest of you organised your own parties."
Chace frowned deeply and glanced at the two of us in worry.
"We shouldn't have left the two of you. You two could've got seriously hurt. Or worse," Chace explained and I took in a sharp breath.
"We can take care of ourselves," I said annoyed and Eddie took a step forward.
"Next time the two of you will be beside us and not fighting alone," Eddie said in an authoritative voice and before Lucy and I could argue, Noah cleared his throat.
"-I don't mean to be rude, but we should save this conversation for another time. The hunters are unconscious and they'll wake up soon," Noah explained, "-we have to continue our route."
Eddie stared at me for a few seconds longer before glancing away.
"You're right," Eddie replied, "-we have to make it to the rest of these hunters before they suspect us coming for them."
Everyone mumbled and muttered in agreement.
However we all took a moment to gather ourselves and clean up before proceeding as our group, the Werewolf Commission.
