Chapter 21
Jaden pov
When we got back to the castle. I didn't want to go back into that room, not yet anyway. When Janice saw me she hugged me asking if I was okay. I told her I was alright. She said dinner was ready. We all walked to the dinning room where we always sat and ate dinner, I sat at the head of the table. Alyssa sat beside me. The cooks brought out Shrimp with pasta. We ate dinner and talked about the musume, I didn't want to talk about looking through things again, I needed time to think. But I think I will be ready tomorrow to look through things. Today was just a huge surprise for me, I didn't think she would had left a letter like that. I still wondered how she knew, and how long she knew. There were so many letters in that box that I had never read. When we were done eating we went up to my room, I asked Alyssa if she would stay in my room tonight. We were laying in bed while I held her tightly to my chest. Somehow I felt at peace, something I had not felt in a very long time. I finally was able to fall asleep without anything to think about.
Alyssa pov.
I had to wait until he fell asleep, I wasn't even at least bit sleepy at all, I wanted to look inside the box to see if there is anything i could put up in the museum, I waited to hear his light snores, when I did I gently got out of bed careful not to wake him up, I went to my room got the box off the floor and put it on the bed. I lifted the lid and placed it down on the bed as well, I began to look inside there was a bunch of letters in the box, but what caught my attention was a letter to me, it actually had my name on the front, now how in the world did that happened, i didn't want to read it. Not yet. I placed it under my pillow for later reading, I felt like I needed to read this letter in private. I put the lid on the box. I didn't want to look inside of it anymore. I left the box on the bed and went back to lay down beside Jaden. his back was turned to me. meaning he did not even know I got out of bed, good. I laid on my side facing him just in case he woke up and wanted to see I was still in bed. When morning came the birds by the window were singing its morning song, I turned and he was no longer in bed. I gave him a mindlink asking where he was, maybe i could cook some breakfast we could eat together,”
“I am back in the room.”
“Do you need me there?”
“Not unless you want to be. I am looking for the box we had yesterday. I can’t seem to find it.” I hurried out of bed. Got dressed and rushed to my room and grabbed the box. then hurried back to the room we were in yesterday. I sat the box down on the bed, He looked from me to the box. then asked me why i had it, I wasn't going to lie, i just wasn't going to tell him about the letter to me,
‘I was going to try and see if I could find anything to put in the museum, But you knew her better than I did, And I didn't know what I was looking for so I left it alone, And I didn't want to interfere with anything.” He looked at me for a few minutes and then grabbed the box and opened the lid,
“Come on, let's look through this together.” I was a little surprised. I really didn't want to look through the things that belonged to his wife, but he wanted me to. Besides, I already looked through some of it. I just didn't want to look through the rest. Once the box was looked through all the letters were put in a pile on the bed. We stood up and went to look in the closet again. We found another box that was filled with small hats that she would wear every now and then. He said he never liked them on her head because it made her look like a child. so he tossed them out in the trash. He found her belts and dresses that matched, so he decided to put them in the museum. the jewelry as well. The other stuff he decided to leave, the room will be locked and no one will be allowed to go back inside. He grabbed the letters off the bed with a few boxes and walked out the door. I locked it and shut it. He handed me the letters. When he placed the boxes in his office closet for safe keeping. We walked out and he told me something that I thought was insane,
‘I want you to do me a favor, I want you to read all of these and see which ones should be in the museum, If there is something I should know. Just give me the letter and I will read it.” I was shaking my head no no no no. no way I will read off all these.
‘Why would you want me to read these love letters from your wife? This is something that you should do not me.”
‘Baby, Just please. I won't be able to read these letters. I would probably end up having a nervous breakdown.” I thought about it for a few minutes and then I came up with an Idea. an Idea he could not even say no about.
‘Listen. How about this? How about we go back to my room and we will read them together, or yes there is a or, I could read them to you.” I knew he was thinking about this really hard. Then he let out a soft sigh. I think it's best that you read them to me. I love hearing your voice. I nodded as well as I walked toward my room. I saw Sapphire approaching us. she had a smirk on her face and Mariah was growling she wanted to hurt her because she was smirking.
‘Did you forget we had training this morning. Or was you just too busy to come outside? You had told all the lunas to be out there waiting and you never showed up. What kind of queen are you?" This really shocked me. I had forgotten all about it. but she had no reason to speak to me like this. i handed Jaden the letters and grabbed her by the throat picking her up off the floor,
‘If you EVER! talk to me like that ever again, you won't be looking like a pretty little girl. Just because I am new to this world of royalty, does not mean I am weak, I let go of her as she fell on her ass. she looked up at me in shock,
“The king needed me this morning for a reason,. we were looking through some things in his old room, I will be out there in the morning ready to train. You go tell the little luna ladies their asses better be out there is that clear,” I used my queen voice, she bowed her head in submission and said yes ma’am. she hurried away, i will not be disrespected.
Sapphire pov
I could not believe this little b***h did not come out this morning, it was chilly and nats were eating us up, after a few hours we said f**k it and went back inside, I took a shower and put lotion on trying to stop from itching from all the nat bites. I was pissed so I decided to look for the little queenie. I found her with the king walking back to their room with something in her hand. I walked up to her and talked to her like she had no right to be here at all, To me she didn't, she was a weak queen just like Kathrine, she will be easy to get rid of, ‘Did you forget we had training this morning? Or were you just too busy to come outside? You had told all the lunas to be out there waiting and you never showed up. What kind of queen are you?" Without warning she had me by the throat lifting me off the floor, when she let me down I bowed my head in submission, she wasn't as weak as I thought she was. I ran to the lunas to let them know to be out there tomorrow morning and be respectful, this b***h is not weak yall, be prepared to get our asses handed to us. The look on their faces was a look of fear. They needed to be strong now.
