Alyssa pov
I was in Jaden's room relaxing, I actually put some of my clothes in here just so the elders will think we sleep in the same room. I was putting my scent everywhere in here. I heard a knock on his door, I smelled Janice, but who was the other? Mariah growled
“I do not like this scent at all Alyssa.”
“Well just calm down, we don't even know who Janice is with right now, so let's just answer the door. When I opened the door Janice was standing there smiling with another woman, I could smell her scent even stronger. Mariah was growling. I was trying to keep her at bay so she wouldn't rip the woman's head right off. She bowed, Janice told me she was her right hand man, So I invited her to come out in the morning to train, I saw her smirk but them smiled, “I will see you out there in the morning,” she left Janice walked into the bed room with me, i shut the door behind me, She had a serious look on her face,
‘Alyssa, I know you are new to the kingdom. but you must be careful with Sapphire, she is the top warrior she knows how to fight,” I couldn't help but chuckle,
‘Well, maybe she can teach me a few moves, but these women they are just not going to be here arranging flowers and planning parties while they are here, they are going to train,”
“Just be careful okay, she is tricky, it's the reason why i don't fully trust her, I haven't told my brother yet, but I really think she has something to do with Kathrine murder, if I told him he wouldn't ask any questions, he would just kill her, So, like i said just be careful okay,”
“I know you are worried Janice, but I will be okay, and to make sure you are alright, I will be careful.” I was thinking to myself for a second. So she thinks she has something to do with it, alright, well I'm not some weak girl. I'm going to need to show this girl who's the top b***h in this castle, I won't give her all that I know. but she will know that I was there. When Janice left. I set on the edge of the bed. I didn't notice before but his bed is really comfortable. I laid back to relax a little and just sat there looking around. His curtains were dark. So the sun could barely come into the room. He had a game system by his flat screen tv he had a huge couch near the far wall with a marble coffee table. With some magazines laying on it. I decided to look into his bathroom. I got off the bed and opened the door to look inside. I was a little surprised. For a man that had been single for some time really kept his bathroom clean including his room. I walked into his walk-in closet and sure enough he had dresses for me in there just like he said he did. So I hung some more of my stuff in there. Plus I stuck some stuff in his dresser to cover just in case the elders wanted to look in there. I covered everything. Even touching stuff. Last night a few of the workers came to me. Told me the museum was half built. It should be done in a few days. So now I have to talk to Jaden. And see what he wants to put in there. I mindlinked him asking him to come up to his room. I was sitting on the bed when he arrived. He sat on the bed with me.
"I wanted to let you know that the museum is half built. The workers told me last night that it should be finished in a few days. You need to figure out what you want in there. I know it's going to be hard. But your a strong man I know you can do this"
Jaden pov
I know Alyssa was in my room. I could tell. I had a camera in my room. She knows nothing about me sitting in my office watching how beautiful she is. She was sure being nosey looking at everything. But I didn't mind. I had nothing to hide. I watched as she put her clothes in my dresser and closet. This is going to drive me nuts when she's not in my room. Her scent was everywhere now. When she mindlinked me telling me to come up I didn't have to be told twice. I hurried up to my room and sat beside her when she told me about the building and I needed to decide. I couldn't say anything. I didn't want to go back into that room. It's been so many years since I went back in there. I knew Alyssa was my mate. Maybe she will go with me for support. I shifted in the bed to look at her and held her hand.
"Will you do me a favor? And go in there with me. If I go in there by myself I think I will just lose it again." She nodded and said yes. I knew we were bonding and getting closer. Even though I think I should go inside there by myself. I really needed her support. We got out of bed and walked out of the room. She was holding my hand and I couldn't stop smiling. When we got to the door I once slept in. I was nervous. Will her scent still be in that room after so many years? I took the key out of my pocket. And unlocked the door. I stood there looking at the door knob. She wasn't pushing me to open it all. She only stood back watching and waiting. I took a deep breath and opened the door. I went inside and she followed me. I took a look around and nothing was out of place. Her perfume was still sitting on the dresser with her hair brush and makeup. Her jewellery was still in the jewelry box. The pictures on the wall had not been removed. The bed was still made up with the pillows still in the right place. Nothing was out of place. Her scent was no longer in the room. Even though I was relieved. A part of me wanted to at least smell just a hint of it. I was shaking and didn't even realize I was until Alyssa touched my back for me to calm myself. She stood beside me looking around. The she spoke.
'You still miss her don't you. I know you still mourn for her. I understand that you do. I will leave you to it so you can spend some time in here alone." She went to walk away but I grabbed her and my eyes were pleading for her not to go. She nodded understandingly.
"What do you want to look through first. We can get some boxes up here so we can see what we want to put in the museum. I mindlinked a few guys to bring boxes up by leaving them by the door. She knew this is going to be hard for me
"There is a box in the closet. Will you please get that down for me? I don't want to look in there. Can you see what's in there Janice packed a few things there years ago. And placed it in there." She nodded and went to look. And grabbed the box and sat it on the bed. She sat down and opened the lid. And looked inside.
" Jaden baby. Come here. I think you need to see this." I really didn't. but I knew I needed to. I sat beside her and looked inside. There were so many pictures of her and I that I didn't even know we still had. There was jewelry and other things in the box, my old wallet, letters and there was one that was addressed to me. I picked it up and wished I never did. I opened the letter and started to read it.

If you are reading this now it means that I am gone to be with the moon goddess. Just know I am always here with you. I know one day you will have another mate. Love her like you loved me. Don't compare her to me, that will be wrong. Never raise your voice. Be the man I know you can be. You and I will be together again one day. But now is just not your time. Be with her and love her. I will always be watching over you my dearest.

There it was. It was like she was giving me her love in a letter knowing one day I would find another mate. But how did she know she was going to leave this world? I wish I knew. I felt tears coming down from my eyes. I folded the letter up and placed it back in the box. There were so many more. But right now I just could not read them. She must had known something. She was leaving clues. But we are here to see what I wanted to put in the museum. I cleaned my eyes and stood up taking a deep breath. I couldn't do this now. I tried but I just can't. I looked at Alyssa with pleading eyes once more. She nodded and I ran out. I'm sorry my love I am so sorry.
Alyssa pov.
I knew this was going to be so hard for him. I didn't want to force him to do anything. But when he ran out of this room I understood. I took the box with me locking the door behind me. I placed the box in my room and I went to look for him. I knew he needed me, he needed me to help him through this. I couldn't find him anywhere in the castle I even went up to the highest pont. I ran into Janice and told her what had happened. She told me where to find him and how to get there. When I got there I really didn't want to intrude. I knew he was talking to her. How am I ever going to comfort him when he's talking to her?
"Go to him Alyssa, he needs us."
"But how. He is…"
"Go to him now, just stand there while he's talking. He will be thankful to you. Just go."
Sighing I knew my Lycan was right. I slowly walked over to him. He looked over at me, nodded and continued to talk to her. I placed my hand on his shoulder to comfort him. I didn't know if I should have been there with him. I really felt like I was intruding. But I didn't want to leave either. I called out to my dad. To please help me through this. What should I do? When he was done talking he stood up and took my hand. We left the grave sight together. When we were far enough away he turned to me
"How did you know I was here?"
"Janice told me where to find you. I didn't mean to intrude. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I was worried." He nodded and smiled wide at me. 'Thank you. Come on let's go back inside. There was just something I had to tell her that's all'
