I was pacing back and forth all day long. i have been waiting for Sapphire to give me a call to let me know what has been going on in the castle, i want that f*****g crown, i had already killed his mate many years ago, what do i need to do? do i need to kill his sister to let him know i am serious, i mean come on. I told him. I told him if he didnt give up his crown his mate was dead, he didn't believe me and look what happened to her. Now his sister is next. My phone started to vibrate. I looked at it and sure enough it was Sapphire, I quickly answered the phone.
‘So, what's been going on Sapphire, I haven't heard from you in several months now, what the hell is going on?”
“Nothing right now, but a royal mating ball for him to find his mate, if he doesn't find his mate he has to step down. That's about it, but I doubt he will find another mate. He doesn't want one, so he's going to say no to everyone he looks at.”
“Well we will see if he finds another mate. if he does we will just get rid of her like we did the last one, i want that f*****g crown, and noone is going to stop me.”
Alyssa pov
I awoke with the song of the birds at my windowsill, they have a nest right at the edge of it, and their babies hatched a few days ago. They were beautiful little blue jays, I thought long and hard about what I would do. it did say if i do not show up they will come knocking at my door. I did not want that to happen, I knew what i was going to wear, and I had already called to see if we could do the fight in the morning, they agreed after I explained about the stupid royal ball. if i didn't go they would be coming knocking at my door and that's not going to happen. so tomorrow i will be heading an hour from here to fight to get the money. head back shower, get some rest and get ready for this stupid ball thing. I am going to make sure I look my best when he rejects me. All I need to do is get over the pain and head out, then I will be out of this town. I already had my house up for sale. I was ready to get out of here once and for all. I went outside to train. Taping my hands up. I started punching the punching bag. Then jump roped. Doing sit ups push ups. Then I ran ten miles. I really wasn't done yet. But I didn't want to overdo it. But I knew this b***h was tough and I needed to win this match. I did a few rounds on the dummy. Then I was done. I went inside, showered and pulled out the clothes that I was going to wear tomorrow. Black leather lace pants. A see through black shirt with a black bra but I will have a black undershirt on. That will be a little see through but you won't be able to see anything. Then I will be wearing my knee high black boots that have tiny spikes around them. I will have my hair in a bun with hair around my face. With light makeup on. I put the outfit to the side. So when I get home I can shower. Rest up for a bit then get dressed. It was already getting late. So I cooked me a medium rare steak with a baked potato. Ate every single bit of it. Washed what I messed up. Then I went to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. But in the end I'm outta here.

I was going through my files on this girl. I tried keeping up with her but my guys would lose track. I knew she was safe. But they wouldn't tell me where she lived because they did not know. How the hell does a tracker lose track of someone. I wanted to find her before the ball. So I wouldn't have to go through all that bullshit. But no such luck.
Janice pov
It was the day of the royal ball. I knew my brother was trying to find his mate. But no such luck. He will have to go through this. I didn't want to do this either. But if we are able to find her. Maybe she would understand everything. And agree to help us. This is our home. We were born here. Our father's father was the king here. Everything was going great until the elders came. And threaten us about throwing us out. It's a shame that we can't beat their ass or kill them. The moon's goodness might have our heads for doing that. What else could we do? I went into the hall. I took a look around. Tables were set up. Flowers in the middle with champagne glasses. The highest will go first then the second and the ones and the others. This will take most of the night. But we needed to find this girl. Even if we have to go house to house looking for her. She might not even be in the kingdom anymore or the other packs. This is f*****g hard. Moon goddess please help me. I knew today was the day. So I went up to my room to get showered. And relax for a while. It didn't start until seven and it's only five. Everything was ready and the food was cooking. I took my shower. Dried off and put my robe on. I set the alarm for six. It will give me plenty of time to get ready. When I laid down I couldn't sleep. I was on edge and was worried for my brother. I said screw it and got up out of bed. And started to get ready. I dressed in red leather pants, a long black shirt and put my hair up and in a high bun. When I turned around there was a woman standing there watching me. I screamed out jumping back. I knew who she was. It was the moon. Goddess. What the hell was she doing here?
"Child you don't have to scream. I'm here to talk, that's all. To let you know everything is going to be okay. She's coming. But she thinks he's only doing this to reject her. it's going to take time for her to trust any of you. She's a strong woman. And she's been on her own for awhile. Your brother will love again. He will love her. He will start being happy again. But it's not going to be an easy road for them. The rogue king will come again. The elders will try to take her away. Tell him she's not a fitted queen but it's not their decision it's his. Besides I am the power. They forget who made them to be the elders. I guess I have to remind them..who is actually really f*****g in charge. You won't know who she is when she comes. only your brother will be the one that knows. but you will like her right away. you might have already met her. but i can not give out any clues. because I will spoil the surprise. just know this. her mother threw her out when she was only sixteen years old, she will come here when she finds out that her daughter is the queen. she will cause some problems. you must let her handle this. let her stand up for herself. it's the only way for her to start trusting you, until then my sweet child, just be there for your brother. I must get going so you can start getting ready.” with that she was gone. i was still shocked that the moon goddess was here just to talk to me, i won't tell my brother about this. i will keep this to myself, he will have to learn to love all over again. and this is going to be really hard, and if he f***s up, im going to kick his ass, I just hope he's ready for this. Ready or not. This is happening.
