Alyssa pov
It was ten in the morning and I was the first to call. They knew I needed this so I could get back. They knew when the king said something it must be done. I was on the mat waiting for the female to get onto the mat. when she finally walked onto the mat the Ref walked in the middle and spoke,
‘The rules are, there are no rules, you fight until one of you can’t get back up. Are you ready fighters? We both nodded and said yes, it was a sight to see because I had faulted this woman before. i think her name was Carla Rufus,she was a badass fighter, when the ref stepped off the mat we began to fight, i have been fighting for almost eleven years now. and she has been fighting for a lot longer than I have. I studied her and I knew how she did things. I knew when she was going to kick and punch. We started fighting. I didn't even see it coming, she roundhouse kicked me right off the mat. I hit a wall with a loud thud, it took me a second, but i got back up brushing myself off i got right back on that mat and did my own kick catching her on the side breaking her rib, she wrenched in pain but it didn't stop her from giving me a punch right in the face, You could hear a loud crunch. She broke my damn nose. blood was running down my face but i didn't give up. she swung again and missed, i swung and punched her right in the eye, i did it again and connected it with her nose. but i didn't break it. but I knocked it out of place. her nose looked pretty weird looking crooked. she put it back in place. We were fighting once again. I knew I wasn't going to win this one either, but I was going to do my best. We traded punch from punch, kick to kick., flip kick. and every way we could try and knock each other out. By the time we were done we were a bloody mess and no one won. All fights were forty five minutes. if it was a tie we split the money, the ref came back on the mat and raised both our arms. Tonight we have no losers or winners; they both split the money between them. go sign the paperwork and go get your money ladies, we both walked off the mat as the other ladies walked on, it was their turn to take the mat,. Carla turned to me and smirked at me,
“‘I really thought you were going to kick my ass back there, it's the reason why I did the round house kick on you. you are a good fighter, you could be better with my help. if you ever want to train with me one day, just give me a call okay. I think we would be a great team. I am sure Brandon would love to meet a lycan fighter. you want to come over tonight and meet my daughter Leah, she's a fighter as well. she will be fighting tomorrow.”
“I would love to. But the lycan king is having a royal mating ball to find his mate and I have to be there tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll come back and see you and see how you train. You could teach me a few things. I could teach you some stuff, how about that? she nodded and we both went to the window with our paperwork. We both got twenty grand each. not bad for a night of not winning and just a tie.
“So are you hoping to be the king's mate?” i shook my head as i explained to her what had happened so long ago,
‘You see. i think he is really having this thing so he could finally reject me. i'm fine with that. because after he does reject me and i get over the pain. I'm leaving. I will have nothing left here anyway. My mom kicked me out when I was sixteen. i'm used to being a lone, So after tomorrow i'm leaving this town.” Carla was shocked why a king would do this to someone beautiful like Alyssa.
“Honey how about this, when you leave the castle, come find us, spend some time with us. I know my best friend Gabi will love to meet you. She's actually a vampire, but she doesn't attack lycans, humans, or anything, she gets blood bags from animals and so does her mate. just come visit. and if you still want to leave you can.” i nodded and said alright, we hugged each other and i left, i was glad i made a new friend,
I had to get home and shower so I could rest up for a bit. When I made it home, I went into the house and took a shower, i had thought long and hard about this, I really did not want to go. i didn't want to get rejected, but i needed to get this over with as well, my Lycan Mariah told me,
“We need to go. our mate needs us,”
“He doesn't need us Mariah. He's just going to reject us. so let's get this over with so we just get out of here.'' I know she is hurt. but i have never lied to my lycan. i laid in bed for a few hours, i might had even took a few minute nap, I knew i needed to get up it was six in the afternoon the mate thing started at seven, i dragged myself out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my business washed my hands, alright it's time to start getting ready, i grabbed the clothes i was going to wear and put them on, The shirt I was wearing showed off my waist, the bra made my breast lift. Even though I didn't need a lift in my breast, but it lifted them, the leather pants showed off my plump ass. I didn't put on my knee high leather boots just yet, I sat down and started to do my makeup. I wanted to do a smokey eye look. Then I did my hair. I did it in a high messy bun, put some clips in my hair so the bun would stay. I had some hair laying on the side then I put rubies in my hair to give it a shine. My jewelry was hoop earrings, a necklace. and a few bracelets, i got up and put on my boots. I decided not to wear the ones with spikes. I could get pissed at someone and would hurt them, so I wore my knee high black leather boots, I looked in the mirror, damn I looked good. eat your heart out lycan king, I looked at the time i was running a little late i had to hurry. I ran out the door and drove off, when i reached the castle i saw the women standing down the sidewalk to get inside, I sighed, I really hope i can get in there and hide, i got out of my car and started walking up the sidewalk, when i heard my name being called, i turned and saw the very person that i never thought i would see again, my mom. What the hell does she want? I haven't heard from her since I was sixteen years old. I waited for her to catch up to me,
“What do you want, woman? I have something to take care of right now?”
“Alyssa, don't do this to yourself, look how you are dressed, he won't want you.”
“Yeah. That's the whole idea., so if you excuse me. we are going inside. i haven't heard from you since you kicked me out,. and now you want to talk to me, mom just go away.” she looked at me and glared,
‘You were always a selfish child all you do is think about yourself,” she walked away from me, but stood back to watch as i went inside,
