Training the lunas

Chapter 23

Alyssa pov

The next morning I got up, got dressed and headed outside like I promised. I wanted to show these girls that I meant business. Mariah was looking for Sapphire. She wanted to know if that girl would show her face again. Sure enough she came running out to stand beside the lunas, I smirked at her. but she only bowed her head to me. I nodded and walked down the path where the girls were.

“Alright. Listen up. You will not be here just to play with flowers and plan parties, if you want to become a luna. your mate will want you to be tough but not too tough, you must show him that you still need him. but you also need to show him you can take care of yourself, what will happen if he was at a meeting at another pack. and oh there it is a rogue attack, what are you going to do? Are you going to run away? link your mate? by the time he gets back home you probably would be dead. Then what will he do? So let's get to it, I am going to do this with you, I want everyone to run sixty laps. so line up and let's do this,” We started running the laps, i was really surprised that they kept up with me, some were sweating like pigs but once we stopped they drinked down some water. Next there were sit ups, push ups, pull ups. leg lifts, squats and much more, I did these with them. I was training for my fight next week and this is the start of it. Next I hung a punching bag on a tree. Alright girls. I want to see what you got, I want you to punch and kick this bag as hard as you can.” so each girl showed me what they had, twenty girls did this, some were good at it, others needed work. Sapphire did a awesome job, but i saw those hits before, where the hell did she learn that from, i will need to figure that out, It was almost time to end the training so i made them all stand,

‘Alright listen up. i want you out here again tomorrow morning, and do not wear booty shorts, you will dress in shorts that are past your ass. is that clear. I do NOT want to see your ass hanging out when you come out here tomorrow morning. Do I make myself clear?” Everyone said Yes ma’am,

‘Good. Now go shower and rest up. if you have classes go to class. then rest up for tomorrow.” i watched them leave, some of them could hardly move, I only chuckled, they would learn I do not play nice, there was one that stood back.

“Ma’am can i speak with you for a few minutes?” I was a little surprised, but she was one that hit the bag really well. So whatever she wanted to speak about she was more the welcome.,

"Sure honey, What do you need to speak about?”

“Well, That Sapphire girl was trying to turn us against you. she said that you were trying to prove a point that you were the head b***h in charge, i mean you are the queen. You are the head b***h in charge, but I think she is trying to plan something. I do not like her, neither does the other girls but we fear that she might try to get us kicked out if we do not do what she says.” I thought for a few minutes, then pulled her close to assure her she would be okay.

“Listen. If you and the girls ever need to talk to me, you and them are always welcome to come to me and talk. you will not be kicked out I promise, just change those clothes you have been wearing. be respectful to yourself, and you're soon to be mate. You never know you might find him here.

“Yes Ma’am. The king told us we had to change our clothes to respectable clothes, But when she came to us she said we didn't have to.” I sighed loudly, this b***h is starting to get on my nerves, changing everything that Jaden had said. I don't like it one bit. Not one bit,

‘Alright listen okay. For now on do not believe a word she says. Wear respectful clothes and respect yourself,” She nodded and ran off. I knew she was going to tell the girls what I had said. Now all I need to do is find Jaden to let him know what has been said.

Jaden pov

I was wondering when Alyssa was going to finally be done with training today, it was like she has been avoiding me since yesterday, I don't know why. But I wish she would just talk to me about this, I heard the girls coming inside and passed my office, i overheard them saying they loved the training and couldn’t wait for tomorrow morning to go back out there, well damn i will probably go out there to watch to see what they do. Maybe i will get them to train with the guys so they could learn more, but we will see. A few minutes later. Alyssa walked inside my office, she had a mad look on her face. What the hell is going now. She sat down in the chair and began to tell me everything that one of the girls had said,

“it seems to me that Sapphire is trying to ruin the training of the lunas, I do not like her. and i don't have to like her, these girls are here to train. and learn to respect themselves and she is going around telling them they don't have to change the way they are dressing, thats bull shit.” I stood up from my desk. mindlinked my sister Janice to bring Sapphire into the office, she had said nothing, she knew my tone all too well, it took a few minutes but she brought her into the room. She had a worried look on her face because she didn't know what was going on.

“Janice, please step away from Sapphire,” She walked over to me and stood there not saying a word she knew something was up. she just didn't know what it was. I walked over to Alyssa putting my hand on her back so she would calm down, I could feel her anger.

‘Sapphire it has come to our attention that you have been telling the girls they don't have to change the way they dress, or the way they act. Do you realize they only have three years here and that time they have to learn everything they can learn before they go back home? When I tell them something, Do NOT! go and tell them something different, I am the f*****g king my mate is the queen, is that clear? if you try me again. it will not be so nice next time,” i saw her thinking about how to get out of this. but she already knew she was busted. she held her head down then back up.

Sapphire pov

When I went back inside the house I showered, dried off and got dressed. I needed to make that phone call. I needed to let Genne know about the king finding his mate. I know he is going to want all the details because I haven't called him in weeks. I took out my phone from the nightstand drawer. I was about to hit the number when I heard a knock on my door. Damn what the hell who is knocking on my damn door. I stormed over to it and opened it. It was Janice. Really now. Geesh. What the hell does she want? I plastered a smile on my face.

What's up bestie. Are you here to hang out?'

"Actually no, my brother the king and his mate the queen want to see you right away. So you need to come with me." I wanted so much to roll my eyes but of course she kept staring at me.

"Alright. I tossed my phone in the dresser and walked out of the room. On the way there I asked what was going on and why they wanted to see me. She didn't know why they wanted to see me or what was going on. But when we got there he ordered Janice away from me. I was wondering what the hell is going on. Then everything started coming out about what I said to the girls. I overstepped my boundaries. And I needed to know where I stand. f**k this s**t. I helped kill his first mate. I will f*****g do it again. I should have been queen years ago before he met Kathrine. We were kids and we had s*x he held me in his arms and told me he cared about me. Then when I turned 19 i knew he was not my mate, but i still wanted him. and then he found Kathrine he fell in love with her not even knowing they were mates or not. That's when I went to the rogue king. Told him I should have been queen. After so many years of planning and taking things to pay him to do what I wanted him to do. He saw her and wanted her for himself. But Jaden would not give her up nor his throne. So he started a war. I knew what I had to do. He told her to go to the safe room. She was heading to the room when I called her name. I knew the rogues were close. I grabbed her hand asking if she was okay. she pulled away telling me she had to get to the safe room that i needed to come with her, i had heard enough, I pulled her back to me. Then I stabbed her in her stomach and chest. The rogues came and slung her across the room, taking the knife away from me and stabbing her many times. One slit her throat and left her for dead. I smelled the guards coming so I ran up to my room and scrubbed my hands. And hid in my closet pretending I didn't know what had happened. I thought for sure when she was gone he would want me. f*****g fat chance. He tossed me to the side not even wanting another mate nor was he looking for one. Now it's this bitches turn. And then it will Janice turn I will get them and get rid of them.
