So I know I said I wasn’t ready for a mate and that is still true for the most part, and I am still confused about how I ended up agreeing to spending the day with Brandon, but I am really glad I did, and so is Sapphire. I have not seen her this happy in a very long time.
Even Clover gave him a glowing endorsement, and that woman has a way of seeing people and being able to spot the good from the bad. She never really liked or trusted Joy, that’s one of the reasons Joy never worked there, not that she particularly wanted to work, she just didn’t like to see me doing something that she couldn’t.
I could also tell she wasn’t that enamoured with Tywin, she was polite when she met him, but the little scrunch of her nose and shake of her head when he wasn’t looking gave it away. Sh
