Joy’s pov
Yet again, my life has fallen to crap because of their stupid sister of mine. Why is life so unfair to me, I was named Joy for a reason, but that little brat sucked all of it out of me when we were kids. I would have had all of the attention if she didn’t come along.
It wasn’t just having to share her with our parents it was more than that. Everyone I felt was comparing the two of us and finding me lacking in some way. It was always Star, Star, Star, as if she was supposed to shine brighter than any of us. Hell, they even named her after the bloody Fae Queen and made her her godmother, where as my godparents were just some stinky mutts that were related to mum.
