Chapter 06

"You're a damm original, it'll take more than a grenade launcher to blow those ears off." said Helsing.

"Doesn't mean the shot didn't have it's impact, what are you looking at?" asked Mikeala noticing Helsing standing by a pile of rubble while looking midst through a broken stairway leading down to a empty hole deep within. "See the hole down there?" asked Helsing.

"Yeah, wait.. this house didn't have any basement." said Mikeala. "It did, and it was located right by the stairway, the one the bloke came out of as we walked, but there is more it than that, the marks on the floor, it's a barrier, no living can step in." said Helsing.

"Hence, why mister concerned citizen was a bit upset when I went through the house, he thought I'll figure it out about his secret basement." said Mikeala when suddenly both of them hear sounds of sirens approaching the crime scene with armed forces.

"I'll leave the way in to you, let me take care things from here." said Helsing as he departs away towards the police while Mikeala nods and leaps into the dark deep hole.

As she sprints through, predicted by Helsing, the barrier didn't have any impact on her, but as she walks in with speed, one of the laid bear traps gets caught with her legs, forcing her to take a drop down as she screams in pain and drops down.

"Urghh! damnit! traps!" shouted Mikeala who tries to free herself, but while she does, a hidden figure latches her neck from behind and strangles her violently, revealed to be the bandaged women who was keeping watch with Rebecca

"You.. are not welcome in here!" shouted the bandage woman who tightens her grip even further, inflicting significant amount of damage.

"Let me.. go!" shouted Mikeala, slamming herself into the tunnel back and forth which lands the damage on the bandaged woman until she releases Mikeala and takes a second to recover just as Mikeala sprints back towards her at a instant, starts beating her down mercilessly until she then plunges her hand into her chest as she screams.

But despite being in the winning odds now, Mikeala's face frowns when she realises the bandaged woman doesn't have a heart within her body.

"What the hell? you don't have a..urghhh!" shouts Mikeala when the bandaged woman sinks her fangs into Mikealas hand which spreads it's venom deep within, making her hand go numb within the second as the bandaged woman takes this as an advantage to the battle and sprains her arm by twisting it apart after pulling it out from her hand.

"Now, your turn!" shouted the bandaged woman who returns the favour by beating her back with the exact amount, inflicting significant damage until Mikeala's eyes glows with red raging crimson flame.

And with a second, she grabs hold of the bandaged woman's fist as he turns towards her, spitting a teeth out then hits a charged blow directly towards her face to which she gets thrown off into greater distance while Mikeala takes a few seconds to recover, then lunges forth as the bandaged woman attempts to scrap her through her nails which Mikeala manages to escape from, until she grabs hold of her And throws her off while ripping her head off.

"Heads off b***h! look, you're still alive." said Mikeala while tauntingly looking at her head and her headless body behaving irrationally.

"You're gonna die.. you will all die!" said the bandaged woman as her last words until Mikeala slams her head off kicks it repeatedly until it's bursted to pieces, making her headless body drop down to the ground as well. "Glad that's over." said Mikeala when suddenly a voice was heard from the exit above.

"Mikaela, you okay down there?" asked Helsing. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine, I'm okay." said Mikeala, looking at her bitten hand as the venom spreads within. "What's the situation up there?" asked Mikeala as Helsing is standing by the deep tunnel's entrance. "Not good, the kidnappers have abducted another group of hostages from what I'm being told, they said they need you up there." yelled Helsing.

"Yeah, I'll be checking things, and will get back to you soon, you go on, I'll be fine." said Mikeala to which Helsing agrees and departs away when suddenly his phone rings which he goes to answer.

"What?" asked Helsing who's face turns serious upon hearing something he was heard. "What do you mean they're awake? they're not supposed to be! you ensured that!" shouted Helsing to which a ressuring response comes.

"Yeah, yeah, do it, I've got my hands full in here, once I'm done, I'm coming back there, keep them inside the vault until I return." said Helsing who then hangs up, desperate for a solution soon.

Meanwhile, in the vault, a hidden bade of operations centered on the moon of Kleham with its functional prison pods and mines which is full on red alert as the inmates have managed to break free from their prison by their fellow inmates, revealed to be Darren and Lucien themselves.

"That's it, you sure we got them all?" asked Lucien as he counts down the group of people arriving with Darren in midst of a firefight between enforcers and inmates.

"Yes, shut the door now!" yelled Darren to which Lucien begins proceeding to shut down the door while lunging off to take all sets of grenades which he throws upon triggering it.

"Yess! jackpot!" shouted Lucien as he throws while Darren ragingly looks upon him. "What?" asked Lucien as the door shuts, to which the grenade blasts away, igniting a massive explosion that rips a hole in the structure of base itself. "Those were my people, you i***t! this is our base! and you're on the verge of destroying it." said Darren.

"You think I have any choice? our brother turned them against us, it's us or him." said Lucien. "The reason why I helped you break free of the simulation was to help Klaus, lead a rebellion against him!" shouted Darren in a echo as all other inmates held up turn towards him, turning silent as they are shocked upon the name of him.

"Uh oh.." said Lucien who strangely looks at the inmates he freed turning hostile with raging eyes. "Hang on, what did you say help Klaus Azirel? the reason why we are here is because of him!" shouted a guy as one by one, their yelling starts to continue as each express their displeasure towards Klaus Azirel.

"Alright, calm, the lots of you! what my brother was trying to say is.." said Lucien before getting interrupted by one of the inmates. "Don't listen to them, they're one of them, the Azirel Family, Klaus's brothers are these bastards!" shouted the inmate.

"That can't be good." said Lucien. "Calm yourself, yes, we are.. brothers of Klaus, but I assure you, we're on the same side here, I broke you all free." said Darren. "You mean we, we broke you all free, because we think there is a greater threat than Klaus coming after us." said Lucien.

"Who cares? you put us in here, locked us away from the world, now you're talking to us about helping you people?" asked a inmate. "Refuse to help us, and there will not be world to get to, listen carefully, during my time within the simulation, one of the first things I did, was to find the whereabouts of Klaus Azirel, his last seen location was the destruction of his ship by something we've never seen before." said Darren.

"That doesn't change a thing, that bastard got what's coming, soon you will too." said the inmate ragingly looking at him. "You realise I could kill you all in splinter seconds, can't I?" asked Darren.

"Woah.. poor choice of words bro, what he is trying to say is.." said Lucien before getting interrupted by Darren. "They know exactly what I am trying to mean, stop trying to soothe talk them." said Darren.

"If you think you can threaten us into helping you, you're dead wrong, we will die rather than helping.." said the inmate right before Darren sprints off towards him and twists apart his head and rips his arms out in order to make a example as he drops while his blood pours down the ground like a fountain.

"Anyone else, would like to suggest more on his point?" asked Darren while he bites off the neck of the headless body and drinks his blood as much as he can until he drops his body as everyone remains silent.

"Good, then it is decided, you people, are going to help us take over this base, then fly into where Klaus was last seen and help him too, understand?" asked Darren while no reply comes in from any of them to which Darren smashes the dead body in one kick as blood is splattered all over the scene.

"I asked, does everyone understand?" asked Darren. "Yes." echoed the crowd in chorus. "Then let's get to work." said Darren with a grin while Lucien is shocked by how he managed to control the situation as to which he Lucien sprints away from the scene and reaches the window where he sees the blown up building is currently being repaired by technicians while several squads of space soldiers are approaching his way with guns ready at a distance.

"Brother, you might want to pick the pace up, because they are coming!" shouted Lucien.

"Seal the window, your stargazing can wait." said Darren. "Nope." replied Lucien. "No? what do you mean? why?" asked Darren.

"I'm gonna fight them, better hold onto something." said Lucien as he bursts himself out into open space despite Darren's warnings, and sprints off directly towards the space soldiers while the rest of the inmates along with Darren flee away from their current place.

"You messed with the wrong guy." said Lucien, raging all his anger while sprinting forth in zero gravity and lunges off into the space soldiers.
