Meanwhile in the distant planet wasteland, Klaus, who managed to make it past the forest, soon founded himself in midst of a large desert while further ahead, he can see ocean where a small settlement resides, on that reassembles of ancient lineage.
"Finally, a bloody relief sight, after a sandy desert of course." said Klaus as he then starts walking forward despite being tired, minutes turn hours and hours take days, but still, he keeps continuing his journey forward without wasting a single second.
As he finally reaches towards the end of the desert, standing right by the water which views his reflection, his vision soon turns dull when he realises what he saw was a mirage as he drops down onto what he viewed as water, only to find nothing but sand and burning sun awaiting him not just here, but in distances ahead to come to which he remains paused and confused.
"There is nothing... there.. can't be nothing, I saw it, it was here.. it was right here!" said Klaus as he got up on his knees.
Ultimately gave up hope, as well as being disgusted and guilty by his actions of killing a child, he starts to drop down in tears, rages out a roar in anger, taking his current situation as a punishment for all his previous sins.
"No! this can't be it! this cannot be my end! do you hear me!" shouted Klaus looking at the sky when a familiar figure approaches him behind.
"Why would you take this as in end?" asked a seducing voice, one that Klaus realises, is just a figment of his imagination much like the water and the settlement.
"Tell me Klaus, why would you think this is the end?" asked the seducing voice, revealed to be a beauteous girl dressed as a Victorian Era Bride with red hair and in formal makeup to which Klaus finds himself unnoticed than pleased of seeing a familiar sight.
"Why would you care? you're just in my head." replied Klaus to which the bride smiles and takes a moment before she speaks.
"Klaus Azirel, eldest of the Original Family, strong, wisest, slayer of Dracula, in the course of history, stories have known to tell you as the invulnerable one who had never fallen from defeat." said the bride.
"At least the stories have got some parts right." replied Klaus. "Yes, it has.. but also.. there is more it to it than that." replied the bride. "And what would that be?" asked Klaus.
"You are.. more.. human, than anyone else in your family." said the bride to which Klaus smile, sparing no response as he took it as a joke.
"You think I speak rubbish?" asked the bride. "You've always been one.. not the moment passes without Lilith's debacle of what a good soul Klaus possesses." said Klaus with a gruesome smile.
"I spoke it because it was the truth, you are far more lighter than anyone I've met in my life." said Lilith. "You're wrong, and that's what got you killed." said Klaus to which she takes a moment smiling, then kneels down close to him, laying her hand on his shoulder which Klaus feels, even though it isn't real.
"What got me killed wasn't you Klaus, it never was." said Lilith. "Then what was it?" asked Klaus.
"Hope... I was drained of it.. I gave it up, and that is exactly why I died, if I had given birth to our child, instead of listening to him, we would have been together, with our child, just like you wanted." said Lilith as Klaus immediately interrupts her, having felt irritated by her when she brought upon the conversation of Klaus's unborn child.
"What do you want Lilith? why are you here?" asked Klaus. "To ask you a question, why do you take this as the end of your road? you've been through unimaginable pain, torment, none have stopped you, but this? why do you think this is over?" asked Lilith.
"Because I am broken! alright? I am already broken by events of my past! all my life, I've met nothing but pain and disappointment, everyone I care about either leaves me, or turns against me, I can't take it anymore, I can't struggle to keep living with a broken mind like this.. I am lost, and in pain!" screamed Klaus as he bursts into a prey of cries while Lilith lets him grieve then offers him a warmth hug for a period of time before releasing him back after offering a kiss on his forehead.
"I can understand how much this has been difficult for you, you're alone, you're scared, and you feel lost.. I am terribly sorry for that.. but you can't give up now, not when you're this close." said Lilith before getting interrupted Klaus.
"Close to what? I have nothing more to lose!" shouted Klaus. "It's not about what you will lose, it's about what is there to gain after this." said Lilith.
"What.. what do you mean?" asked Klaus.
"What you already now... look around this place, at its emptiness, do you think you're brought here to rot, or were you sent here to find something?" asked Lilith.
"If I was sent here to find one, I would have seen something by now." said Klaus.
"You didn't look close enough, open your mind Klaus, think.. remember how you got here.." said Lilith as Klaus starts to receive flashbacks of memories, being dragged by something alienic as he arrived.
"I.. arrived.. I came here before." said Klaus. "Deeper Klaus, concentrate." said Klaus who plunges into deeper concentration as he then receives glimpses of being dragged, along with his crew mates into a base where he was subjected to various types of experiments which prove him painful as he processes it.
"I can't.. it's too painful." said Klaus.
"Yes you can, believe in yourself, you're stronger than you think you are." said Lilith which Klaus emerges back his thoughts and emotions through the pain and pushes himself back, only to find himself awakened inside a pod with a quick breath, as then the entire section is deemed with red alert once he awakens.
"I.. what the.." said Klaus when suddenly lasers are fired towards him to which he drops down, then immediately starts removing all his tubes, then drops down, barely being able to breathe and think after being separated from what he thought was his reality.
"It was a dream.. I was in a simulation." whispered Klaus as he then hears the noise of aliens that brought him here speaking, and chanting on while Klaus takes a look around to find many people had been put inside in pods much like him.
"You all, will pay.. for this." said Klaus as his eyes turn red along with his skin ash, gaining his vampiric strength to which he launches into a fiery battle directly at the ones firing at him, ripping apart one's head and throwing away it's body towards the wiring panel which shorts a circuit burst that shuts the light out of the section, turning it in complete darkness.
The aliens try their best to fire down this monster, but slowly one by one, Klaus manages to rip apart every single one of them, until no one remains once the light comes back online.
"You come at the king.. you better not miss, else.." said Klaus laying atop a killed alien while pool of blood is all that remains throughout the place.
Just when he thought it was over, suddenly he hears the noise of another heartbeat to which he sprints out towards walls as he bursts through into a hidden section of this place where he grabs one of the alien, left ultimately helpless to his knees.
Unsure about what this alien is trying to say, Klaus ignites into a anger by the noise it makes And starts beating it until he knows it down to one of the panel, activating a hidden pod to emerge out of the surface and arrive right in front of him.
Seeing this happens, the alien tries it's best, not to fight, but pleads him to move away from the pod, as if it was telling for his own safety.
Regardless, Klaus's hatred and fresh anger boiling through his body, he doesn't listen, and goes straight to the pod as the alien then takes out a blasted from storage and fires at him, causing a acid fire that burns as it creates a massive smoke, to which Klaus drops down, but eventually returns healing back with a half head healing and his raging eyes towards the one who fired at him, to whom he lunges off and obliterates it into pieces as he then takes a minute.
"At least that's over." said Klaus who then drops down unconscious suddenly while his body heals but meanwhile, the pod then mysterious clicks, citing that it was opened somehow from the inside by whoever was within all along.
Meanwhile, back in Kleham, where Helsing and Mikeala emerge victorious, having slain nearly half of the squad that was sent to kill them, with surviving one being tortured and interrogated by Mikeala.
"Tell me, where have you kept them?" asked Mikeala holding him by his shirt. "I told you! I don't know, we're just mercenaries, we were only hired to kill ones in this house, I don't know anything else, swear I didn't know I was up against a original.." said the hostage until Mikeala rips out his throat by sinking her fangs onto him, then dropping him out cold.
"Well, that.. was a dead end, what about you? " asked Mikeala looking around, only to find Helsing nowhere nearby. "Helsing? you here? Helsing!" shouted Mikeala when Helsing yells from within the destroyed house.
"I am over here!" shouted Helsing to which Mikeala sprints forward to where Helsing's at. "I thought you had super hearing." said Helsing.
"I took shots from a grenade launcher, it's surprising I can even hear your voice." said Mikeala.
