Unknown’s P.O.V
As soon as we got back we started on the tonic, then mixed the wolfsbane together with a few other herbs to make sure the sister’s couldn’t shift at all or mind-link anyone, especially each other. A few hours later the drug was ready and the tonic looked a little weird, as the colors were a dark blue and purple, but they didn’t mix together they just swirled around together.
“We need to test this to see if it works. When we inject it into them they will be unable to shift or mind-link anyone for twenty four hours and that will give us enough time to erase their memories, then we will make them face off against each other. They will bleed and we will drain them, then will be able to drink their blood and get their powers.” I said, hoping this worked the way I had planned it to.
“But sir, who are we going to test this on?” Neville asked, both worried and curious. We turned as one of the females walked into the house and we both smirked, knowing she would be perfect. She has only been here for a few months, so if it goes wrong then no one would miss her.
“Bask, if you don’t mind can you come over here for a few minutes please. We need you to test something for us.” I called over to her and she nodded.
Bask’s P.O.V
I sighed, knowing what they were up to because I could smell the wolfsbane from outside, that's how powerful it was. I nodded and walked over to them with my arms crossed over my chest.
“Okay guys, I know what you’re up to, I smelled it from outside, so I know that you want to test it on me. Here's what I’m going to tell you, it's supposed to knock me out for a few hours, then when I wake up I will realise that I won’t be able to link or hear my wolf, so here you go, do it.” I said and straightened my arm out so they could inject me with it. They filled the needle up with wolfsbane, flicked it a couple of times and then tied a tourniquet around my arm, trying to find the vein.
“Are you ready for this?” Neville asked and I nodded.
“Okay then, let's do this?” Neville said, gently taking my arm and injecting me with it. It took a few minutes, but then I started to feel slight effects of it and then I was out. Neville picked me up off the floor and laid me on the couch, thinking I was out cold.
“Now what do we do, Neville? Do we just stand here and wait?” Giff asked and I heard as Neville chuckled.
“Well we could easily sit down and wait instead of standing, as she will come round in a few minutes or hours or we could go get something to eat and drink then come back here.” Neville replied and I heard Giff hum in agreement. I listened as they walked away, closing the door behind them and when they were gone my wolf started talking to me.
“You know this isn’t working, right?” My wolf Alina asked me, but I remained with my eyes closed, pretending to be asleep.
“Yes, I know and these guys are going to be in for a rude awakening, but there's just one thing I don’t understand. Outside the wolfsbane smelled really strong and powerful, yet now they have injected me with it, it's barely affecting me. Either way let's just play along and lay here for an hour or two. We will act like it worked and then when they think it's out of our system we will give Alpha Mark a call but we need to be careful, Alina.” I replied and I could hear her humming in my head.
“I know, Bask, but it's fun when these idiots try to cook something up.” Alina said and I laughed a little in my mind.
“Alright, let's relax and in an hour we will wake up, until then let's enjoy and relax.” I replied, relaxing into the couch. A few hours later I heard the door open and both of them walked back into the living room where I was still relaxing.
“She should be waking up any minute now.” Neville said and I heard as they both sat down on the couch opposite me because the springs in that couch squeaked. I tried to keep my face relaxed and twenty minutes later I pretended to start stirring and then sat up. I looked around, pretending to still be a bit groggy and saw that they were both looking at me, smiling.
“So, did it work?” Giff asked, excitedly. Goddess, these guys really were idiots.
