Alpha Ron’s P.O.V
I was sitting in my office, waiting for Alpha Mark, Luna Jessica and the rest of their pack to arrive. It had been three hours since I spoke to him on the phone and we had been very busy getting all the rooms and cabins ready for them, but we did it and with time to spare because we all pitched in and helped. Kacey had left shortly after everything was sorted out to meet with Luna Faith, but it took me a while to convince her that she was right to leave and meet her friend.
“Alpha Ron, they are here and there are…..well, there are a fair few of them.” Garth said, mind-linking me. He was currently guarding the gates with another of my pack and from the way he said that it sounded like there were more than I originally thought.
“Thanks Garth, we will meet them outside the pack house. Finish your shift and then come over, so you can meet them as well.” I replied, mind-linking him back.
“Yes Alpha Ron, I’ve just let them through the gate, so I’ll be there shortly.” Garth said and I ended the link. I got up from my chair and walked outside to see Ryan, Casey, Sophia and Guss already waiting for me, but when I looked properly at them they all had their mouths open, all except Sophia who was beaming with pride. I followed their gaze and saw the cars driving up the driveway, but it seemed never ending, like a convoy of sorts. It was an incredible sight to see and once they pulled up at the front of the pack house, they parked their cars and Alpha Mark and Luna Jessica got out of the cars. They stepped forward as I walked down the steps and met them in the middle. I shook Mark’s hand and then hugged Jessica, glad to have her back here, even if it was for a short time. I waited for the cars to finish parking and for everyone to get out.
“Welcome everyone to the Red Moon pack, we have cabins for the mated and their families, while we have rooms in the pack house for the unmated. Please make yourselves at home. We do have rules here, so I will ask that you follow them. Firstly, never mate with a mated wolf, second, do not disrespect your Alpha or Luna, three, never go against this pack. Other than that, enjoy your stay with us. As you know we have power seekers after Sophia and Casey and we will do anything to keep them safe. Sophia as you all know is Alpha Mark’s daughter and Casey is our daughter now. We will keep them both safe at all costs, so get your rest. Training will be at six in the morning for the warriors and fighters, those who are guards at the Gray Moon pack will join the guards and those that are left will do the same duties they did at their pack. We are all equal here, so again please enjoy your stay.” I announced and turned to face Alpha Mark.
“Do you have anything to add? If so, you are more than welcome to.” I asked and he nodded, turning to face the crowd, which was a mixture of his and my pack members now.
“While we are here we will respect this pack. We are merging until this threat is over and done with. These power seekers are dangerous and we all need to be careful, so if you go out into the woods make sure you are in groups of at least two people, three or four is better, but two will be safe. Never talk about the powers that Casey and Sophia hold to anyone. Be careful. Red Moon pack, thank you for having us here. That's all for right now.” Alpha Mark said and I nodded, shaking his hand. After Mark and I finished making our announcements everyone cheered.

The crowd dispersed shortly after and the mated wolves and families went to the cabins, while the unmated ones went into the pack house to go to their rooms. Ron and I went to his office to talk, leaving the others to shower and relax for the rest of the night after their long drive.
“So, what is the plan for these power seekers? Do we know how many there are?” Ron asked as I sat down in the chair in front of his desk.
“I do have someone on the inside, her name is Bask and we need to get her out of there.” I replied and Ron nodded in agreement.
“Then get her out of there now because we don’t know when they will attack and we don’t know how long she will be safe there.” Ron said and I immediately started the mind-link with Bask.
“Bask, are you alone?” I asked, hoping she was.
“Yes Alpha, I’m alone. What's going on?” Bask replied, mind-linking me back almost instantly.
“It’s time for you to get out of there, now. Come to the Red Moon pack, we are merging with them until the threat is gone.” I replied, hoping she could get out safely.
“Yes Alpha, I’m on my way out now, see you soon.” Bask said, sounding relieved.
“Be careful, Bask, see you soon and watch your back.” I replied and ended the link.
“Alright, that's done and she will be heading here really soon. I didn’t like her being there in the first place, but she’s good at her job. When she gets here she will let us know everything, right down to what they look like and what they are planning.” I said and he nodded.
“I just hope she makes it out safely and gets here soon.” Ron replied, saying the same as what I was thinking.
